I've been coming to Amsterdam on for 3 years located in Downtown Hollywood. This place is the place to go for your Spanish music, rough around the edges, millennials fix! Grab you dancing shoes and by shoes I mean flats, sneakers of chancletas cause this place is hands down very casual. I only suggest dressing up if it's your birthday and you are getting a table in VIP where you can actually sit down. Other than that come comfortable as possible. The DJ is amazing all you bachata hits, reggaeton mix and a sprinkle of salsa here and there. The drinks are ok. Not south beach prices but decent. You can always play it safe and get a bucket of beer. They also have hookahs for you young kids that like that. Lol. Cocktail waitresses are wearing next to nothing and the bar tenders are generally eye candy. Definitely a fun low key local vibe when you need a place to go to on the weekends. Check it out. I'm definitely a fan. I was just strolling around the area and a nice hostess steered me inside. $5 drinks were the carrots that lead me in. Once inside at the bar with a nice mixed drink I found no reason to leave. The dj's music, the good food, the small dance floor, the pool table, and the huge tv screen playing football were all a win on a Florida cold November day. Since the first drop in I find myself repeating. The music/dj changes. I don't enough to figure on who's on what day but every time I find myself twirling on that small dance floor with liquid courage in my system. Salsa, bachata, Haitian kompa/zouk, top 40 - I've heard it all. Now if you do order food. Order early or share your plate. The amount is huge for a night out and I just hate wasting good food. Great atmosphere! I went on the night of my birthday and the manager gave me a complimentary drink and shots. I felt like royalty here. I enjoyed the Spanish music and the vibe was perfect. I did not see staff wear any masks or gloves, but they do offer sanitizer at the front door. I wore my mask inside just to be safe. Nice fire act, beautiful women, ordered a few drinks but then after,,I saw that a girl at the bar added an extra $15 tip to my bill!!! Mind you my bill was $60 I tipped 20% plus $10 in cash. I have the receipt that shows what tip I left! I just can't stand when people take advantage of others to make themselves more money, especially during covid!!! I ordered the Lamb Kabob platter, which included two huge skewers with the most flavorful and tender lamb I have tried, a side of French fries and hummus. The hummus was freshly made and served with a pita basket as a perfect complement. The Happy Hour here is unbelievable, it runs from 4-9 this includes $3 beers. The hookah starts at $11.99 and they have a ton of flavors to pick from. The atmosphere outside is of an alfresco restaurant and inside it's hip and club-like with a full bar. I went here this past weekend with my girlfriend and a couple of our friends since we were bar hopping in downtown Hollywood. It was formerly known as Blue Bar and it's where I first met my girlfriend so we had to check it out seeing as how they've just opened recently. I walked inside and it smelled like hookah which I love the smell of hookah flavors. The place was renovated and looked a lot better set up than Blue Bar ever was. It was clean and had a dance floor with a nice looking bar plus a decent size lounge area people can drink or relax in. It's more on the club or lounge category than a bar in my opinion with the flashing lights and loud music from the live dj they had. They had a decent selection of beers on draft and in bottles. Thank god they have IPA's which are my favorite! Prices are decent and affordable. There's plenty of street parking and parking garages close by. This place definitely adds to the up and coming nightlife scene in Hollywood so worth checking out! We liked it and we'll be back again real soon. read more

Terrible. We came in 1:30am, they offer us bottle service and didn't mention place will Close at 2:00 am. They just want to rip you off, and then they make you feel like is our fault place close and they didn't disclose closing time before pushing you "Vip service" so we basically stay 29 minutes but we were required to buy bottle service for less than half an hour, please avoid this place, terrible management and customer service is the worst. read more

My best-friend had been here before and loved it. When she went they got a bottle so were able to have their own area and I saw other people in that section and it did look more enjoyable. Meh. I use to like this place back when they had a pool table. Now they're trying to go from "hookah bar" to "club". The music was so loud my glasses were vibrating against my face the entire time. This is not a place you go for food. This is a place you got for obnoxiously loud music, over priced drinks, and to be served by women in thongs. Love what this venue has become!! They have really cleaned it up and totally revamped the inside since it's predecessors. The inside is very swanky now, and had lots of comfy seating as well as plenty of dance room. I have eaten there twice now and the food never disappoints! Prices are on point, lots of drink specials. This is a top notch Latin club. Spent an entire evening dancing and it was as out of control as you'd expect. Lots of energetic music, decent prices, up beat vibe, flashing lights, friendly staff. Line is always a few people and crowded inside when the other bars/clubs in Hollywood area are half empty. While the servers speak fluent English almost all the music is in Spanish and the DJ speaks almost entirely in Spanish so if you speak Spanish or just want to submerse yourself in that experience you should check this place out. read more

I was told that this was a good place to come and dance to Latin music on a Friday night. I was greatly disappointed. The place is very small and cramped. The VIP area is not very VIP. The place seemed pretty dirty and the drinks were overpriced in my opinion. I ordered a Stella Artois which was $7 and the bartender stiffed me on my change. The DJ was not very good and there is no real dance floor. Plus no one there knew how to dance. You're basically just being pushed and bumped by servers and other patrons. Didn't have a good time. The dance floor was very busy and in the VIP section I might have seen a few civilians giving each other lap dances. WOW is all I have to say. Food is good and they have some of the best hookahs for an affordable price. You can come to hang out and dance at your leisure.
