This was connected to where we stayed. I like the hotel a lot, while this is alright. First off excellent service. Really nice bartenders. Liked that it had nice chairs under the tiki roof to relax under. This part of Florida can be hot, and more shade here than on the couches. As for drinks, they have $3 shots sometimes. I took advantage of this. They also have a decent selection of beer and wines. The hours aren't that great. Closing at 10 seems early, but this could be due to large bars within walking distance are available until 4 am. This is more chill though. That is important. If you're in the area this works, and if you need a cigarette they sell packs. Please be responsible, don't drink and drive.

    Nice little tiki bar...

We love this little hole in the wall. Prices are great and the staff are fun and attentive. The live music isn't half bad either!

The Tiki Bar: cute! We loved our bar tender Tommy, he was very good & professional yet friendly. But Molly was horrible. She only takes care of her locals & not the hotel guests. We set a timer & it took us 14min to get a refill! Then when we said something to her about serving the hotel guests & she refused to serve us & told us we had to leave! Then the poor guy Said that he was a new hire, she was suppose to be training him, & she left him to fend for himself... I hope he does not quit. Our room: small. No place to hang up towels in bathroom or wet clothes. Only 1 trash can in the bathroom. Bring your own beach towels! They do not make beds, replace towels only. Love that there was a broom, had to sweep up sand every day. Beds were comfy! The front desk girl was very nice & friendly. Location: love it! Walk to the beach, & shops & food. Cozy & felt safe. Taxi: $45.00! Use Lyft: $18.00

Molly is the best bartender at this hidden gem. Drinks are great and reasonably priced! The atmosphere is awesome. I am so glad I came across this tiki bar.

Caribbean Resort Tiki is located within the front yard of one of those "cheap" bargain type hotels right off of Hollywood beach. This bar is definitely not an adult hangout, as when I was there I was surrounded by scurrying little noisy kids from the hotel. The bar also functions as a makeshift food stand selling hot dogs, french fries, nachos and non-alcoholic drinks etc. Strike 1 - two blonds(one had a constant frown on her face) were working, the frowning one was on complain mode. Both were ignoring the bar patrons while the frowning one kept complaining about how she hated staying home. Strike 2 - as mentioned kids were noisily running, playing and climbing all around me. Strike 3 - ya the drinks are cheap and look tasty in the pictures, but they're horrible concoctions made with super sweet chemical tasting syrups. I ordered a bora bora cocktail and the non-frowning blond put ice, syrup and liquor in the glass then handed me the drink and incredibly told me I needed to mix it lol. No I'm not joking the bartender handed me an unmixed drink and told me to mix it lol http://bit.ly/1SHNRwH There's always a first time for everything, but this is the last thing I ever expected to experience. The drink was undrinkable, all I could taste was syrup, it was disgusting. I barely touched it and got up and left.

I'm so happy we found this place! After I saw all the good reviews, we were determined to hunt down this tiki bar. Luckily, it was located right behind where we were having lunch at the Taco Spot. It's a small tiki bar, right in the middle of Caribbean Resort. Most bars in Hollywood beach have up and down reviews, complaining about the prices, cleanliness, and service. You can scratch all those worries & just come here. It's definitely the best place to drink on Hollywood beach-- in terms of quality in cocktails and prices (and it's clean). It's only $2.50 per shot, now that's a deal! That beats paying almost $10 per shot at The Pub, making a round for your friends costing near $50 for 5 shots-- no thank you. On top of that, Alanna is a sweetheart and makes pretty awesome cocktails. Bartending is her art, she makes colorful and creative drinks- just look at the photos. She mentioned that they have Latin & jazz nights too. Pretty soon they're going to be opened in the mornings as early as 7am everyday. Beach, breakfast, & pina coladas- yes please.

Super cool Tiki Bar at the Caribbean Resort. Super close to the beach and all the cocktails you would expect to find in the Caribbean. Rum based and sweet juices. Small bar menu and an assortment of bottled and draft beer. Covered from rain so you can stay at the bar while outside and keep on drinking. Close to the water so you can run and skinny dip to keep up with its theme. 'Get freaky at the Tiki!' I think I might. Thanks Alanna!!

Alanna is the reason why this place is great. Can't wait till next time

Be careful with the bartenders they will overcharge you for your drinks, make sure you get an itemized bill before paying.

Unfortunately, the service has been very inconsistent -- truly hit or miss. The food itself is adequate overall, and the breakfast buffet (which is included) has been good. The buffet items are fresh, and the past two mornings we've had a lovely server who was attentive and pleasant. However, other aspects of the service have been frustrating. Despite being here multiple days, staff have repeatedly struggled to pronounce a very simple name -- JILL -- instead calling out "Geo" or "Byron." At one point I didn't even realize they were attempting to call me, and we were passed over. It's a small thing, but after several days, it starts to feel careless. One evening I ordered a cheeseburger -- just cheese, well done. I clearly and politely stated (three times) no onions, no peppers, no pickles. The server didn't write it down. The burger arrived undercooked and bloody, loaded with onions, peppers, and pickles. I had to send it back. That kind of mistake is avoidable with basic attention to detail. Another night, despite the restaurant being half empty, we were told the kitchen was shutting down for an hour because it was backed up and they didn't have enough wait staff. It was a holiday weekend -- one would think staffing would be planned accordingly. As hotel guests, we're somewhat of a captive audience, so that was disappointing. Overall, the breakfast buffet has been the highlight, and when the service is good, it's very good. But the inconsistency, lack of organization, and poor communication have left us frustrated. Lesson learned -- we'll be dining elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. Oh the view is great !!!

Not familiar familiar with the area, we looked up fresh seafood in the area with Fresh & Wild appearing at the top of our search. To be clear, aesthetically it looks like a mom and Pops establishment more than a fancy restaurant. We are only concerned with how good the food and service services. We love, mom and Pops restaurants. It is a little hot and there's not a lot of indoor seating, luckily we found a table for two. For starters, we are the croquette which I never had before and they were very tasty. I personally ordered six oysters. They were fantastic. Very fresh. As for dinner, I ordered the blackened flounder fillet with side of rice and beans and fresh broccoli.. the blackened fillet was cooked perfectly and very tasteful. The broccoli was indeed freshly steamed, and the rice and beans were really good. I never had beans that had some form of salsa in it. The food was plenty and I was very full. The service was excellent. They had a lot of takeout orders also. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for good seafood with great service.

The exterior had visible trash and debris scattered all over the frontage and parking lot, a poor first impression for a restaurant. Inside, there was an extremely strong fish odor that made the dining space uncomfortable. While some fish smell is expected in a seafood market, it was quite overpowering for a place serving meals. We chose to sit outside, but the outdoor seating area appeared disorganized. Tables and chairs were scattered, the tablecloths looked dirty, and the floor was wet from what appeared to be a spilled drink that hadn't been cleaned up. There was no host stand and no greeting from anyone when we arrived, so it wasn't clear if it was self seating or hosted. we couldn't tell employees from the customers. Eventually someone told us we could sit anywhere. The staff member who assisted us was friendly, but he didn't seem very familiar with the menu when we asked about the differences between the fish options. We were also told they were out of sugar-free beverages and there was no beverage menu available. With some attention to cleanliness and organization, this place could likely offer a much better dining experience. The place seemed better suited as a seafood market rather than a restaurant, so we ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere. We hope the management takes note of these issues, as with some improvements this could be a much more enjoyable dining experience.

VERY shareable and every time I've ordered one, it's been cooked exactly the way I asked. They're fresh, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries are great too! As for drinks, I never skip the watermelon mojito (I get these virgin as a mocktail sometimes). It's light, refreshing, and the perfect complement to a juicy burger. And if there's still room afterward, I always finish the meal with a perfectly blended piña colada. The atmosphere is another reason I keep coming back.
