This was connected to where we stayed. I like the hotel a lot, while this is alright. First off excellent service. Really nice bartenders. Liked that it had nice chairs under the tiki roof to relax under. This part of Florida can be hot, and more shade here than on the couches. As for drinks, they have $3 shots sometimes. I took advantage of this. They also have a decent selection of beer and wines. The hours aren't that great. Closing at 10 seems early, but this could be due to large bars within walking distance are available until 4 am. This is more chill though. That is important. If you're in the area this works, and if you need a cigarette they sell packs. Please be responsible, don't drink and drive. read more

Then the poor guy Said that he was a new hire, she was suppose to be training him, & she left him to fend for himself... I hope he does not quit. Our room: small. No place to hang up towels in bathroom or wet clothes. Only 1 trash can in the bathroom. Bring your own beach towels! They do not make beds, replace towels only. No alcohol. The drinks are make-believe alcohol. The food is pretty terrible, basically frozen chicken sticks and like--only what can be popped into the microwave. I booked a room and immediately upon entering, I could smell a foul smell. To me it smell like something died. I told the gentleman who was showing me the room-who told me that he was a real estate agent, there was something wrong with the room because the smell was aggressive and terrible. He bluffed it off, saying it was probably Cleaning chemical. I said no this absolutely is not Cleaning chemical. I kept the door to the room open trying to air out the room, but that had not helped hours later, when people came into the room, they immediately said oh my God what is that smell? Several told me -- that's mold. One of those commenters was a residential builder. It was very hard to breathe in that room and if it was mold, I didn't want to stay there. It was already 1 o'clock in the morning, so there was no one in the management office, (the management office that never ever ever answers the phone). So I had to pack up for the night at 1 o'clock in the morning and dead tired, drive home so I could sleep without gasping for breath. I texted the manager at 1:45 AM. There after I sent a letter asking for a refund, which they denied. A very bad end to my birthday. This place needs to be shut down. Too bad, because it has good bones for a venue. Needs to be shut down-the rooms overhauled and verified safe by OSHA. Could be good if it had a competent, responsible management. read more

Caribbean Resort Tiki is located within the front yard of one of those "cheap" bargain type hotels right off of Hollywood beach. This bar is definitely not an adult hangout, as when I was there I was surrounded by scurrying little noisy kids from the hotel. The bar also functions as a makeshift food stand selling hot dogs, french fries, nachos and non-alcoholic drinks etc. Strike 1 - two blonds(one had a constant frown on her face) were working, the frowning one was on complain mode. Both were ignoring the bar patrons while the frowning one kept complaining about how she hated staying home. Strike 2 - as mentioned kids were noisily running, playing and climbing all around me. Strike 3 - ya the drinks are cheap and look tasty in the pictures, but they're horrible concoctions made with super sweet chemical tasting syrups. I ordered a bora bora cocktail and the non-frowning blond put ice, syrup and liquor in the glass then handed me the drink and incredibly told me I needed to mix it lol. You can scratch all those worries & just come here. It's definitely the best place to drink on Hollywood beach-- in terms of quality in cocktails and prices (and it's clean). It's only $2.50 per shot, now that's a deal! That beats paying almost $10 per shot at The Pub, making a round for your friends costing near $50 for 5 shots-- no thank you. What a hidden gem! First off, the prices at this bar are incredible. Shots or some drafts for under $3. If you're familiar with Taco Spot, this place is directly behind them just a few steps off of the boardwalk. I'm almost sure the best prices for drinks on the beach are here. Plus, if you're in a rush you can ask for a drink to-go you're given a plastic cup so you are able to walk on the boardwalk with your drink. (Just make sure you're within the Margaritaville area, don't worry you'll see signs if you wander too far.) Second, the service is great. When you walk up to the bar you're immediately treated like family. Friendly and smiling faces greet you. There's a fun mix of locals and the hotel guests sitting at the bar on almost any night. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday they provide live music. If you'd like to, you may request songs or even get up to the microphone and sing along. The music brings the crowd, drawing the happy feet from the boardwalk over to the cool tiki hut where it seems almost impossible to not engage in some dancing. Lastly, if you're hungry, they also have some yummy bar bites. Try the crispy wings and fries or the mozzarella sticks, those are my favorite! I found this place on Yelp, me and my friend were looking for awesome drinks at an unbeatable price! While reading the many reviews it seemed like we hit the jackpot with this one, we already had a heads up on what to expect, while getting to the location everything seemed to reflect the reviews, I approached our bartender and asked if her name was Ann, so all the reviews raved about her, she corrected me and introduced herself as Karen, who was absolutely wonderful! The only issue I had with this establishment is that their menu is very outdated , a few things on the menu are no longer being sold :/ and the picture of the drinks are not what you are getting! This place was ok. Not the best but not the worst. Definitely don't stay here if you are a light sleeper. The tiki bar that is connected to the resort (right outside of all the rooms) played live music until 1am every night of our stay. Also the bathrooms are extremely small. You have to turn sideways to walk into the shower. If you are super tall, go somewhere else or you won't get to close the door while you use the toilet. Definitely a cheap place and a good location. But very small rooms. Not family friendly. Good for college kids. read more

Please don't go here! Our bartender used an entire can of Coke for my wife's Rum and Coke, and an entire can of Sprite for my Mojito - We could see her making the drinks.
