As county music lovers, Round Up has been on our list for a while! We arrived around 9pm to find line dancing classes happening. Evidently, free line dancing classes are hosted here every Saturday from 7:30pm - 9:30pm. A large part of the room is catered to this. We sat at the bar and watched on while enjoying some drinks. Bartenders were the friendliest and drinks were cold! The atmosphere here is loud, lively and fun! Everyone's here for a good time. Once the class was over, we were able to join in on some of the dances and met some great new friends!

It was a Saturday night and we had no idea what to do. After checking Facebook Events, we came across a two-step and line dancing lesson at Round Up, so we decided to try something completely new. My fiancé and I had such a great time! Now we feel confident enough to hit up any country bar and really cut the rug. DJ Jon Paul was the host and he was fantastic, along with his assistant (whose name I sadly can't remember). Everyone was welcoming, the energy was great, and it was clear that everyone was genuinely having fun. Definitely worth checking out sometime!

so when I first moved to plantation about 20 years ago, I used to go to round up every weekend and it used to be the hot place to go with country music and line dancing and an all around fun night to go. i went with my sister-in-law Saturday night and while people are still line dancing I barely heard any country music. I also think that we were the oldest people in the club cause everyone seems to be under 21 and It wasn't like that before. Well it was still a fun night just to watch everyone dance. I would love to see it go back to how it used to be with country music and a diverse crowd. We did order some chicken tenders, which were really yummy so that's that.

This is so much fun!! Went last Friday night and not only do they have line dance classes, but it's also ladies night from 9pm - 2am!! Drinks are only $2 each!! The class is an hour long and it's for both beginners and advanced dancers. There's a $10 cover if you're 21+ or $30 if you're 18+. The bartender that helped us throughout the night was the sweetest angel! I regret not getting her name. She was so quick and friendly! Ambiance is so much fun! They have a DJ the whole night who calls out the dances for beginners. Loved that everyone is there to have a good time wherever they're dancing or just watching. Everyone is also in theme, wearing their denim, cowboy hats, and/or boots! Honorable mention for the bathrooms, because they were surprisingly clean. Make sure to get there early because the line to get in wraps around the building later in the night!

My girls and I wanted to learn how to line dance so we ended up stopping by for the lessons . They have lessons starting Wednesday - Sunday from 8:00pm-9:00pm . There is a $10 entry fee . Every Wednesday is ladies night . I asked if there is bull riding, and there is only when the rodeo comes into town . It was such a fun , wholesome environment . I can't wait to come back for more lessons !

Everything is relative, and when you are the only country joint in town, just be sorta good. And Round up is plenty good. I always liked some country but country rock and similar music wasn't my thing. A bit more recently i was drawn more to country as the genre had gone more country and and its just oneof the only music scenes in South Florida. So we went to Round Up as its really the only spot in town for music and dancing too. If you get there early you get a chance to practice a line dance or 2 step. The house instructor is there I think around 7pm. We got there early party for this but also to just beat the crowd. Sure enough when we walked in the place was pretty quiet of patrons but 80 people were on the dance floor getting a lesson. We snuck on the floor and picked up a few things. After a while things kicked up and the night started. Round Up is literally one of the only places around with this energy. People, a lot of women, who feel comfortable digging the music and relaxing with a beer. Its not intense techno or more modern music without instruments and full of beat drops, just good clean fun. When we left there was a big line outside, the place was about to get packed. We look forward to popping back in again soon.

Be prepared for for a cover even if you have VIP ticket to a performer 50$ for my girl and I after having VIP admission ticket to the club place is super wack from My POV

The birthday party food spread was awesome.

When I was invited to a birthday party here, I must admit I was a little apprehensive to go. I don't really consider myself to be a country linedancer. That being said, I completely misjudged the amount of fun it would be. Hubby and I arrived to watch a dance floor full of people enjoying themselves line dancing and two-stepping to some awesome country tunes. Although my two left feet didn't join them, it made me want to get there early one night to partake in the complimentary dance lessons they provide. This night however, we were very content to sit in our private roped off party area and enjoy the food and drinks with some great country dressed people watching. The eats and drinks provided by our hostess hit the spot. Will be back for more.

It is a country-western club. If you get here around seven they have an instructor showing how to line dance. I had a good time. The music playing was good. The place had a family fun atmosphere type of vibe. The club had a few bars inside. They also serve food. I didn't see a menu anywhere and no one approached us but I did smell and see food. Towards the back, I saw some tables. I smelled cigarettes. The smell bothered me. I looked around and didn't see people smoking but I smelled it. The place is located in a plaza on a corner. The plaza has plenty of parking spaces around. It had some signs around about towing if you park in certain places. I honestly was worried about it. No one could tell me if I was in the clear. I enjoyed my time here. I am glad I came out today and experienced country dancing.

If you don't want to go all the way to South Beach, but you are looking for somewhere for a smaller 10 or less group to go out and party like rock stars, Passions should certainly be on your list. I've been with groups much larger, but for bottle service the couches are small. I've been to functions with 50 people as well, and with a reservation you can have a VIP section so everyone is in one room with several couches. (I mention couches because after hours of dancing my feet hurt pretty bad and somewhere to sit, without leaving the party is important to me. Walk right to the left side of the rope in front of the line. Talk to the bouncer who looks up your name, puts a bracelet in your wrist and opens the rope for you. With the bracelet you can go almost anywhere in the club. Upstairs in the VIP bottle section you need a different wrist band. If you have ordered bottle service, then you will get your own white couch space with a separate bouncer which keeps others away from your party. The scene directly upstairs that overlooks the main room is not that different, but way less crowded. The second VIP room is much smaller, but you get drinks quicker and the jello shot girls are there ghetto most. I also think that the party gets much more wild in this room. Downstairs there is a room that plays Spanish and regaeton- but as stated in a previous review, that room gets over packed either people and when someone elbows you or stops on your foot in stillettos the party is over for you, so I stay clear of this room.

It was so hot inside, I'm surprised no one passed out. I decided to get a Rum and Coke. I asked for Sailor Jerry and they didn't carry it. I said Captain, the bartender poured the cheapest white rum available. My friend wanted a tequila shot, the bartender again poured cheap liquor. The BILL $22!!!!!! We had asked the bartender if the lounge seats by the bar were reserved. She said no and that it was first come first serve. Well that changed once someone "paid" to sit there and a security guard "kicked us out of that area". I'm not sure why we were not given the opportunity to "pay" to sit there. It's very upbeat, exciting and unique. They have three, that's right three different bar scenes at the venue!
