I'm cautious about the four stars here. To understand why, I must tell a story about a young boy named Jeffrey who had a very important print job, an out of town conference, and a even younger intern. Jeffrey went out of town to this conference, leaving the very important print job in the hands of AMT and the intern in charge of picking it up and distributing it. I'll spare you the drama and we'll dive into the happy ending. There wasn't one. Poor intern nearly in tears, me on a phone from somewhere in Colorado, and things didn't quite come together. Well, I'm a forgiving man. And the low prices at AMT help me to be forgiving. So I dropped off another project there not too long ago. It had been years and I was ready to give it a go again. I gave it plenty of time, and when it came time to pick up the job it was ready and waiting. Print quality on the cards was pretty good. This isn't a cut-and-dry print shop. Do a little bargaining and you may get a better price than what's quoted. On the flipside, they quote all kinds of ridiculous prices. So read the fine print and make sure you qualify for them. Know before you go and you may get a sweet deal. But don't expect it all to be as easy as 1-2-3. If you don't mind cruising garage sales and dickering with flea market folks, you've found your new digital print shop. read more

I went to A.M.T. Printing for a simple project of printing wedding announcements on some not so flat cards. Not one of the 4 or 5 men in the room got out of their chairs or looked up from their idiot boxes. They just sat there and stuffed their faces and talked to me as if I was a retard. I told them I was hoping they could print a few cards for me. They told me they could not since the paper wasn't "flat" and if they did, it would be more than $65...they would have to heat up their printing press. I'm blonde but I'm not a bimbo. I don't appreciate being talked down to like I don't know a thing about what I'm trying to do. They seemed to think I was asking them to do something that EVERYONE should know is impossible and they made me feel stupid for even walking in their store. I went to Office Depot across the street. Shannon at Office Depot was able to print my cards and it was a complete success. They looked perfect and it cost me a total of $2.98. Thank you Office Depot for saving the day. Thank you A.M.T. for letting me know how much you suck. No wonder you're still just a little podunk copy shop with many complaints and very few clients. I have used AMT a few times. The print quality is always good and they typically will run a proof at no cost so I'm not sure what the issues is with the other reviewers. In working with any print shop you need to get a proof before your job is run. Just common sense. Prices are good, but you have to dicker. Mike the owner is Persian. We got our wedding invitations done here and they did an amazing job. Andrew, communicated with us the whole way and got us a proof within a few days of ordering. In total we had them make our invites, RSVP card, information card, map to the venue and even some clear labels we had made for our drinking cups. We had AMT handle our custom designed wedding invite printing. I was very particular about the printing as we wanted everything to be a certain way. We had a custom background and specific layout in mind and listened to exactly what we requested. They sent proofs quickly and it was everything we had in mind. They cut and individually sealed each part of the invite and had it to us in days, much faster than the two week turnaround we had anticipated from other places we checked out. I was incredibly impressed by the work performed, attention to detail, and the correspondence with Andrew about the job. Thank you so much! read more

My partner has used AMT Printing for a few small jobs and had good results, so when we needed a small run of labels for a new product line, we reached out to them. They said they could easily meet our needs and provided a reasonable quote. When I came back with details on additional labels, they came back with an exorbitant quote. I expressed my surprise and Andrew came back the next day with the "great news" that he had screwed up the pricing and could print more than double the number of labels we discussed for less than he had quoted me. We decided to go forward. This is where the good news ends. I'll try to keep this short by fast forwarding the next week with non-committal timelines and unclear communication from Andrew. When I went to pick up my order, the guy at the front desk handed it to me without comment. I, assuming I was given exactly what I paid for, walked out with the labels with plans to look them over after lunch. In our excitement my partner and I opened the package and peeled off a label to apply to a bottle we had in the car. It was completely off center--unacceptable to use on our bottles. Thumbing through the labels, we found that MANY of them were off center to the point of being un-usable. We turned around and went back. Again, in an attempt to keep this part of the story short, I'll just say that the guy at the front desk is the worst communicator I have ever encountered. For the first little while he acted as the go-between for us and Andrew, and could barely string four words together. Eventually Andrew made an appearance, avoiding eye contact, I might add. The response was cold, unconcerned, and completely lacking in ownership or responsibility. Instead of apologies or solutions, we were met with half-assed explanations and blame. In a nutshell, we were told our job was impossible to do perfectly and we had to go through what they had given us and pick out the usable labels and discard the rest. We left nearly in tears after a very heated exchange with Andrew. Back at the office I did a full inventory and found that not only had they given us a bunch of unusable labels, but they had actually shorted us a bunch of labels. A couple more phone conversations later, I ended up requesting a partial refund (which they provided without argument) and told AMT we would not be using their services again. The things that bother me most about this transaction are: 1) AMT Printing's complete lack of customer service. They refused to take responsibility for their failure to execute, blaming everything but themselves, and refused to apologize for their poor performance. 2) Apparently the job I requested was unusual for them--but they gave me absolutely no indication that was the case when they agreed to take the job. In working with other printers to get our labels re-printed, I have learned quite a bit and feel pretty irritated that AMT was unable or unwilling to help educate me. AMT should either not be taking jobs they are ill-equipped to complete, or they should communicate clearly to the customer the limitations they are facing in order to set expectations. To put it nicely, I will not be doing business with this company again. read more

We have been doing business with them for about 2 years now. We have a pretty nice system with them, since the brochures we get printed from them, have been the same and they keep it on file. They are very nice and fast. Most of the time the turn around is less than 24 hours. Only 4 stars because I don't like when a business promotes religion in the lobby. It scares people way. read more

AMT scanned several dozen photos for us. The scans were made at arbitrary angles: upside-down, turned clockwise, whatever. Much worse, half or more the scanned photos were ruined by arbitrary cropping. Terrible! read more

I do a lot of printing, and these guys are the worst I've seen. The owner seems genuinely interested in legitimate, integritous business; but his key guy, Andrew, is as worthless as a two-wheel drive truck. Andrew printed my booklet by fitting it to the page, which made it way too big (the pdf was sized perfectly). When I complained, Andrew said he didn't care because it's not HIS business. The owner offered to re-run the botched job at cost (half); but Andrew STILL did not have the brain power to print the booklet correctly so I bailed out. I took the job to Office Depot; they did not have the slightest problem or hiccup in printing the booklet correctly. Zero stars is my rating. read more

AMT PRINTI.NG A VERY POOR BUSINESS. DO NOT SHOP THERE AMT printing is a very poor business. Mike the owner just picks numbers out of the air and keeps changing the price when ever he feels like. He claims he has the latest printing equipment and he will give you a good deal. He will tell you that other printers will charge you $1200.00 but since he is such a good guy he will do it for $400.00. I have never had a good experience with his store. We have done business with him on several occassions, and every time we have had to go back to his store 5 and 6 times to get it right. He operates with one employee and so he does not have time to do a good job. His machines constantly break down, he looses material that you give him and then claims that he returned it to you. My advise would be to pay a little more and shop some place else. He puts up big discount signs outside his store, but uses the bait and switch when you go in.He dosent have any systems in place to keep track of orders. Dont ever give him any business, as you will loose money every time. We will be lodging a complaint with the better business bureau. read more

I've gotten more than a dozen print jobs done at AMT, and they've been perfect every time. Not only has the service been excellent, but also polite and prompt. I first went to AMT after realizing the other print shops I called had a DAYS LONG turnaround. AMT can usually get my jobs done in hours or less. Ask for Shane - always excellent. read more
