Excellent cuts and styling at reasonable rats. Also coloring. All the stylists are very good and fun to be around.

Today, July 13, 2026, I booked a fill at GL nails. When I…read moreget there I told the male owner I also wanted a pedicure. So he sat me in a pedicure chair and said you'll have this done first. A very young man started my pedicure. The spa bowl was really cold. First time I've ever had my feet soaking in cold water. He asked if the water was OK and I said it's cold. He shut the water off and didn't add any hot water to it. Then came the technician for my nails he was also a maleI don't like when they do both at the same time because having gel nails is a process to remove the old color. It's not very comfortable getting a manicure at a pedicure chair. He started on my nails and I felt my finger get stabbed and I jerked and he said sorry and I looked at his Nails they were long, pointy, sharp nails, and his nails were also filthy. They had dirt under all of them. It looked like the day before he must've worked on his yard/garden. He was using the electric nail filer. Between him jabbing me with his dirty pointy Nails and burning me with the electric filer I was done. I jerked my hands at least a half a dozen times. Every time he said I'm sorry, but they were just words there was no meaning behind it. At one point, I just grabbed my hand from him and put them in my lap and said no more you're not touching me no more. He hurt me so bad I was literally crying. The male owner wanted to know why he wasn't finishing, and he told him in his language that I didn't want him to and he was laughing the whole time. The owner came up to me and said I will finish your nails and I said no I'll do it myself. I told him about the technician had sharp nails and how dirty his nails were and he shouldn't be working on anybody and he tried to defend him by saying oh he does fine people like him. The next person he gave a pedicure to he was wearing gloves. The owner knew that his hands were not sanitary at all. I'm hoping I get no infection from this person and I keep washing my hands and every time I do they sting because of all the burning and jabbing he did to my fingers. I will never go back to GL Nails ever again. I paid $60 for the pedicure and it definitely was not worth it. I've been getting my nails done on and off for 30 years. I have never suffered such a horrible experience in my life. When you get your nails done, whether it's a mani or pedi you can get accidentally hurt. This wasn't a one time accident. This was a continuous torture until I stopped it and he thought it was funny.

Very awful. Went there a few times thinking the first time was a fluke. Nails are misshapen, paint…read morejob is terrible and messy, skin left unmanicured, and left with bloody cuticles. Worst experience I've had.

Tanning, teeth whitening, and lash lift, oh my!…read more Lesson learned today is: You are NEVER too old to take care of you I took the dive today and kicked my fears and insecurities to the curb! Life is meant to be LIVED! Since cancer in 2020, I have had neverending adjustments with my body and mind that I continue to have to accept and figure out. Nobody ever talks about the continued changes that your mind and body experience and endure AFTER the chemo, radiation, and surgery. I thought that it would all be "back to normal" afterwards....and yet here I am, almost 5 years since diagnosis, and I'm still adjusting. It's exhausting and annoying...and sad and hard. Being thrown into menopause well before my time and watching the changes that the continued cancer maintenance drugs cause has made me feel older than I'd like. My bones have deteriorated faster than normal, my hair is thin (and I LOVED my long thick hair!), my eye lashes and eye brows are thinner, I've gained weight, my hair is fully grey (which was super weird), my libido is non-existent, I am always tired and have no energy, my memory is awful and I STILL experience brain fog (super frustrating!). While watching myself change, I find myself avoiding mirrors. I dress frumpy and don't put on make-up unless I have to. I just kind of stopped trying. I used to love vacations because I could pamper myself, enjoy family time, let loose, and forget about things for a bit. Soon I'll be leaving for a vacation that we've had planned and purchased for two years now....to celebrate my 5th year out since diagnosis and our 25th wedding anniversary with my amazing husband! I don't want to be frumpy on this trip! I want to feel GOOD about myself while celebrating with my fam! Today, I made a choice to FORCE myself out of my comfort zone and do things to help me feel better. I booked a spray tan session, teeth whitening, and eye lash lift and tint sessions. I was terrified to be standing in my undergarments in front of a total stranger as she sprays all of my rolls and crevices. Before today, I have spent HOURS talking myself out of things out of fear of what others will think. But today, I pushed through the thoughts and just went with it. And you know what? I feel GREAT! Emily was THE SWEETEST, funniest, easiest person to work with and she made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed. She kept me giggling, even with that big plastic thingy in my mouth holding my lips open wide (dumbest I've ever looked in front of a total stranger). I will continue to try and make the best of who I am now and even have my next session in the books! Yes....its first world problems. But I wanted to share, in case anyone else is putting off living and embracing changes. Just go for it! And make sure you get someone like Emily to walk you through it...because I had a great time laughing at myself today AND...my smile looks radiant, my lashes are poppin, and my tan looks phenomenal, I must say! I feel like a million buck Emily and Hannah are TRUE professionals!

LOVED! I've had a quite a few higher end fancy facials and this was the best. I have a hard time…read morerelaxing yet I was able to relax and enjoy the process. I walked out feeling relaxed and beautiful. I've never left a facial feeling confident in my skin. Bethany was amazing. I will 100% be back in the future for more facials. She was very gentle when it came to washing off the cleansers + masks , no tugging, pulling, or roughness. The application of the products was soothing and not messy. This was my first lash lift and tint. So far I am loving it! I can't wait to come back and see Bethany again

I've been reluctant to post because I wanted to be in love with this salon…read more.. For starters, the salon is gorgeous. Comfortable. They greet you right away. Once seated, I took a look at the brochure that disclosed prices. I was in for a perm. It said "$75+". I've been getting perks for the better part of 15 years and this is what I am accustomed to paying. Usually around $80. I've even paid $90 at high end salons in Atlanta. The hairdresser was fantastic. Kind, funny, and chatty. I showed her a photo of the perm style I was looking for and she began. I was there about 2 hours. That's the norm. When I checked out I asked for a recommendation on a good shampoo and left with one I love. (Try Loma, you won't regret it) however, when I was checked out the total was $175!!! One hundred dollars more than what's disclosed in the salon brochure. I have paper thin, chin length hair so I was shocked. I didn't question the total there because the hairdresser was so awesome but after speaking with other stylists and friends and neighbors, they encouraged me to review such a discrepancy in the price. Maybe the shampoo was $100? I still have sticker shock 2 weeks later. I've never paid even close to that price so I was appalled. For this reason I did not recommend the salon to friends or neighbors and can't recommend on yelp. There's a host of salons in this area (excellent ones) that seem to be more upfront and honest in their pricing.

I've been here many times over the last couple of years. Always treated respectfully and kindly,…read moregreat talent. They really listen to what you want and do a great job.
