The home is spacious with a huge backyard and is very comfortable. Knowing that my mom is getting great, consistent care, is so comforting to me and the communication with the owner and caregivers has been excellent! I feel like I made a great choice and I'm very thankful! I would highly recommend this home to others.

They provide delicious meals with special needs taken into consideration. The home is always clean and bright. My father is always clean, bathed, and dressed in clean clothes. The grounds are beautiful and enjoyed by the residents when weather allows. The owner, Nucharee Yokdang, is very knowledgeable about running an assisted living/group home, including being able to help with all the necessary paperwork for long term care reimbursement and hospice. She knows just what the elderly need from a care perspective and is always looking for ways to improve their quality of life. The Holiday parties and other activities they do are wonderful for residents and family members. The whole staff treat their residents with such love, care, and respect, you can tell they view them as part of their own extended family. The greatest compliment that I can give though is the fact that my father calls it HOME! I feel so blessed there is such a wonderful place with amazing people for my father to spend his last years. I am so glad we moved my 90 year old grandmother out of this place! On december 28th 2017 we got a…read morecall early in the morning that there was no food for breakfast, went over there and there was no food in the house, no one was fed, the caregivers and owner gave us a couple of lame excuses, why there was no food, and that running out of food has only happened once, this shouldn't happen at all.  My grandmother passed out and fell after taking a shower and the ambulance was called to assist her, we were never called by the caregivers or the owner that there had been a serious issue with my grandmother's health. Patient medication is locked up and dispersed by the caregiver, my grandmother ran out of her medication, and we were left to call the pharmacy to get the prescription refilled and a rush delivery, thank goodness we did not have to contact the doctor to get the refill, that could have caused more delay in getting her prescription to her. The phone was disconnect several times and we could not get through to the house, my grandmother used a care takers cell phone to call us, again excuses as to why the phone was not in working order.  The worst part, (the month December 2017), there is a mouse infestation, that has not been taken care of. Many other families have seen the mice in action in the living area climbing out of a recliner, my grandmother had mice in her closet, she also saw one run out of her room into bathroom. When we moved my grandmother yesterday, 12/30/17, her clothes had mouse droppings stuck to them in the closet, there was mouse droppings all in the closet and along the baseboards throughout the house and hallway. No one ever cleaned her room, when we moved her, the dirt and dust poured out of her belongings.  The caregivers are always changing, and the family or patient is never notified of the changes, who the caregivers are or their credentials. The owner is very unprofessional, and very good at making excuses or telling you what you want to hear, to smooth things over to keep your family member there or you happy.

The property physically is very nice and the food is good, but that sort of medical care is essential. My dad and the nurse helping my mom says she developed the sores AFTER she came to Reed Manor.

Our family member lived in the memory care unit at Clearwater at Rancharrah for approximately one year. Initially, things seemed acceptable, but the quality of care declined significantly over time. We ultimately felt we had no choice but to remove him urgently. There appeared to be a serious staffing shortage, and the employees who were there seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the residents were the ones who suffered. During multiple visits, we found our loved one still in bed late in the day because no one had helped him get up since the morning. On more than one occasion, he was calling out in pain and had not been checked on. Personal belongings also went missing multiple times, and when we raised these concerns with the executive director, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. What we witnessed went far beyond occasional mistakes or forgetfulness. We believe it reflected a pattern of neglect toward vulnerable residents who depend entirely on staff for their daily care and safety. The overwhelming sense of relief we felt after moving him out says everything about our experience. I strongly encourage families to carefully consider other options. If your loved one requires attentive, compassionate memory care, I would not recommend this facility based on what our family experienced. We hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

I am reviewing this facility based on my interviews with management in late 2023. I met with Carla…read moreLevingston in person and she was able to give me an approximate level of care cost in addition to the monthly fee. She was totally honest about the coming rate increases. She answered my questions completely. The rooms here are private rooms each with private bathrooms. There is room for larger beds if a couple wants to move in together or 2 twin beds and chairs and dresser etc. Each resident brings their own furniture, TV etc. This facility now offers one "house" with independent living. This facility is VERY DIFFERENT from other larger assisted living homes. It is more like a group of individual group homes. Each residence has a group of caregivers. NOTE: The 2nd person fee on price sheet is applied when a second person lives full time in the same room but does not need assisted living. What totally attracted me to Park Place was that they would allow me to sleep over without charge and pay $5 for a meal if I wanted. This was very attractive to me. I was ready to move my husband here because of that ability. The only reason I did not move him here was because it was 15-20 minutes away from my home and I found a small group home 1.4 miles away that also allows me to sleep over if I want. I highly recommend Park Place to anyone considering a care facility for a loved one. It's beautiful and the manager Carla is very helpful. If you find this review helpful PLEASE VOTE!
