They seemingly have a lot of extra inventory in the back. It can seem like an odd collection; but if they have what I need, it makes me so very happy.

It seems like anything you want for your kitchen, with the exception of white goods (!), you can get here and they stock a wide variety of brands from generic porcelain, modern Joseph Joseph to classic Tala. It is a bit cramped but that goes without saying on Columbia Road and they pack a lot in and always have a lot of people browsing. So go in here before you buy your bouquets and bay trees.

They are simply at hand if you need them. I was really pissed off to find that they had a pan steamer which was the exact product I bought just days ago in Islington for only 4.50. In fact the bigger one was still cheaper at 5.50 than the 5.99 I paid for the small one in Islington. What a bummer. They have a huge selection of chopping boards as well ranging from small to extra large and everything in between. Also they have a full range of pots and pans, kitchen knives and crockery. This store is great and the prices are obviously very competitive as I found out the hard way.

I think that a shop like this managing to survive is testament to its success. Ealing Broadway shopping centre is just around the corner with quite a bit of competition from the big boys who also market home wear. It just sells cooking and kitchen stuff but I want to get in there and find some sort of gadget that I don't currently have and that will change my life. Ideally something electric that makes a werring type of noise and hopefully makes a mess...... A family run business selling everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, pots, pans, scales, coffer machines, spatula's, clocks, teapots, and things to organise the kitchen just so. Some cool bar stuff in there though, bottle openers, cocktail gear and some nice glasses to sup that cold lager or wine on.... Anyway, I'm off for some counselling now - if you need kitchen stuff - go have a browse but try and not get excited.

The store looks small from the outside but once inside, it is actually quite vast. It might be narrow but the shop is really very long. Despite being in Bexleyheath's busiest part of town, it is surprisingly quiet and you can browse without getting stressed. The queues weren't too long either making for easy shopping. The prices are pretty average, not overly cheap but not too expensive either. There is a "bargain" section at the back but only with a few pounds off each item and it isn't anything to get excited about. Parking is available nearby in Bexleyheath Broadway shopping centre. There's not much which would specifically drive me to Robert Dyas but it is well worth checking out if you are shopping around for goods for the home.

They also have cleaning supplies as well as general hardware items, small cooking appliances, garden accessories and just stuff that one needs in general if one owns a home. This is a very useful store to have and the service is often quite helpful and friendly. It's always a place worth looking into, although it can be a little bit expensive.

This branch is inside a shopping centre, so after stocking up on cleaning supplies, you can swing by Top Shop for a frock or WH Smith for a DVD.

I also find they have really cheap sofa's here and almost bought one for my spare room. All round a really good home ware store.

I just love this shop! It sells fantastic things. You can get a lot of home and kitchen stuff there…read morethat are really cool. When they have sales it is even better. You can get really nice pillows/cushions for a good price. They also have cheap photo frames and kitchen utensils that are funky and durable. I bought some many years ago and I am still using them. Currently they have these hearts and dots collection in red and white - they have bowls, mugs, cup and saucer and biscuit tin. It is really pretty and I would go get some before they ran out of it. Their big furniture is really nice too. They have a set of really nice leather sofa on display and some nice tables as well. I think if you buy them in a set it might be a bit cheaper.
