Just left here getting the best spa pedicure!! She took her time and did an amazing job! I truly enjoyed this all that's missing is a glass of bubbly! Now I did get a full set dip powder set in funny bunny and the lady who did them did not do a very good job, yet Lea the owner came and looked at them without me saying anything and suggested she do an additional coat.. talk about much better! The service here was very bad. Soon as we walked in they didn't even welcomed us they just asked what did we want(which is rude) when I told then what I wanted they told us to wait one moment. It took them 30 MINUTES. We walked in there at 4:30 and left out at 6:14 that is too long for us to be sitting there. They didn't even have a lot of people in there that kept asking us at wait they are on lunch break. The man who painted my nails asked for my password to my phone. Then they all were being very ruff on my hands and toes. The lady who did my toes made me bleed . I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. NEVER GOING BACK! read more

I tried Amy's today for a spa pedicure and I won't return. Overall the shop is very run down and the foot spa kept making horrible noises. The experience was anything but relaxing. The technician spent the whole time yelling on her phone via FaceTime. The chair felt broken. The worst part of the experience was she kept yelling at me to hold my foot up in the air which was tiring and a bit like exercise class. When she asked me to go to the dryers I saw 2 of nails were only half painted. When I pointed it out she said I wasn't being careful. It is the worst looking pedicure I've ever had. read more

we had the pleasure of visiting Amy's nails yesterday as a treat for my niece's birthday. The team was very accomodating, very friendly and paid great attention to detail. on top of it, they offer specials and extras for their customers, so upon hearing it was my niece's birthday (it was our first visit), the owner gave her a gift certificate for her next visit. Can i tell you this made her so happy, and really in my mind set Amy's nails above and beyond other nail salons because it shows they really do care about their customers and what they can do to make them feel special. my nails look great too so all around great work! read more

I have been going to Amy's for nearly six years, and I've never had a bad experience. T and Le are perfectionists and are so personable; so are all of the staff that they hire. I've referred my friends, coworkers, even my boss, and everyone says the same of them and becomes a regular. I even come with my four year old daughter sometimes, and she gets her nails and toes polished. Sometimes the wait is long, but that can be avoided by calling ahead of time and making an appointment or coming when the salon opens at 9am. I love Amy's, and they love their customers! read more

My experience was horrible I had to wait for a long time while I was in a chair to get my pedicure, my feet was just in the water to wait on the lady to return she had me there 15min waiting and my feet began to shrivel up really bad and plus the lady rushed on my feet literally didn't massage my feet are nothing it was the worst experience ever, please listen to the people in the comments and don't waste your money here it was so trash! Was there for over 2 hours, only took cash without saying up front. Made 4 of my nails bleed and color was awful.

I have been extremely disappointed with the service received at Amy's for my past three visits, which has pushed me to seek services elsewhere. Over the last couple of years, the service has declined. I am very picky about my shellac/gel application and typically happy with my services. However, lately they have been very understaffed and inattentive. This last time pushed me over the edge. After waiting 30 or so minutes (on a Wednesday around 2pm) for my gel manicure, the tech asked me to wash my hands after the initial filing and proceeded to work on someone else. When she saw my puzzled look, she nodded to another employee and mentioned she would be finishing me up. Communication please? After waiting another ten minutes, the new tech sat down(no greeting mind you) and begin on my nails. From the second she sat down to start until she put lotion on my hands after finishing , she was talking on her cell phone (on speaker). This had to last for 15-20 minutes --- how rude! There were others waiting for pedicures that were just sitting. Again, no communication as to the wait time or an for who would be working on them. Things have changed since my initial visits. I hope they get things back on track. read more

I have never left a yelp review, much less a poor one but i'm truly hurt and confused by my experience early today. i was a regular customer who went to amy's every two weeks and they knew me pretty well, along with my mom who also goes here. i went in today to get my nails done (dip) and they were understaffed and there were a few people ahead of me, so i was patient and waited for my turn. everything went normally as far as them quickly getting the acetone for me to soak my nails in and then someone taking off the remaining dip from my previous manicure. however, i sat there long enough to where everyone who had been there before me had gotten taken care of and people who came in after me were now being taken care of while i sat there waiting. i'm pretty patient and understanding when it comes to customer service and i don't like confrontation, so it took a while for me to get frustrated with the lack of service i was receiving. i figured that because i needed dip and everyone else who came in after me had other services (regular polish, pedicures, etc.) that they prioritized those customers first because they didn't require as much time as mine did. eventually i began wondering what was going on until they came over to me and buffed/smoothed out my nails. however, i was then left again to wait. i explained what i wanted to get (dip with some glitter, nothing too insane) and they never pulled my color off the shelf or acknowledged that i would be helped soon. another customer asked me how long i had been there and i told her about an hour or so. she then told me that i had been there for more than an hour because she had been there for an hour and came in after me. i laughed it off because i was on my phone occupied so i didn't realize that i had been sitting there for that long but nonetheless, i had been sitting there for an hour and a half with bare nails. the owner came up to me and asked me what i was getting and after i explained it to her she asked me to give her a few more minutes and i agreed because i assumed she would just set someone else up and then come over to me and do mine. i was then completely shocked to see her doing dip on the customer next to me, despite them getting there about 25 minutes prior to being worked on versus me sitting there for over an hour and a half at this point. everyone in the salon (about 8 give or take) was being taken care of, and i was sitting there like i had been, despite every single one of them coming in after me. i eventually got up and walked out and went somewhere else, having to apologize to the other nail salon for coming in 45 minutes to closing because my nails would have broken off if i hadn't. i just am sad to know that me supporting this business for so long and so consistently led me to being taken advantage of despite always being patient and understanding of different circumstances like being busy, understaffed, or even both. it really seemed like i was being treated this way because i've always gone to them, i tip well, and they assumed that no matter what service i received i would always come back. i'm so so sad and frustrated at this, and i truly hope no one else ever experiences this. read more

I have had pedicures on and off for several years and have to say todays experience was one for the record. I realize the language barrier is a bit difficult, but I know the technician knew I told her no, three times, and understood it, but still proceeded to do what I did not want her to do. I have an ingrown toenail that did not hurt until she insisted on partially pulling, yes, yanking, it out, then after being told not to continue, did, in fact, continue. It now hurts. Bad. I kept telling her to stop, yet she continued. I may go back as I have always had good experiences here in the past but will definately not have this technician. read more

They did not sanitize their tools, used a cheese grater (which is illegal now) and some type of razor blade mechanism (which is also illegal) for my heels and i get pedicures often so my heels arent very tough. The girl did my cuticles with the scissors for twenty minutes trying to kill time while the shellac lady was busy, she stopped in the middle to use the same scissors on her cuticles then proceeded to do mine again. Not to mention she made me bleed three times. So unsanitary!!! Will not got back! read more

This shop gives the very best pedicure! Such attention to detail. Gentle, yet thorough. I always marvel at how much better they are than most shops that I frequent when I am out of town. The whole staff takes great pride in their work. I'll never go anywhere else when I'm in Baton Rouge. read more
