Chiropractic, PT etc etc...my best relief has been Thai massage. I'm at Texas motor speedway for two weeks and was looking for a mobile massage and found Nicole' Coffey on Yelp. While relaxation and pampering are nice, I prefer to do therapy that addresses my pain and provide relief. When given the option this evening, I chose the constructive painful path and have NEVER been more grateful for the work and time Nicole put in! After over 200 massages at least, this is the best one I've ever had and she provided coaching on daily stretches customized to my challenges. Had no idea I had 3 ribs out of alignment, 3 vertebrae also and collarbone out on both sides and she fixed all of it!She's also a post-operative specialist and shared insight and guidance no other Dr or massage/pt therapist ever has. I have 3 titanium discs in my cervical spine from a ski crash that I waited to treat until two years ago and she told me things about my injury just by feel. She is worth traveling here to see and learned some people do. I am so grateful knowing that I found her here on Yelp and what an amazing result! She has a good range as far as pressure, she started out with a light touch and then after checking in with me I let her know that I could handle more pressure and she responded great. I should have asked for a deep tissue massage, and she understood what I needed after I spoke up. I'm used to chatting with my masseuse but I don't think you're supposed to do that here so I was pretty quiet, but Kirsten did engage in my questions here and there and I was thankful for that! Personally, I had a pretty good experience. The combination of Swedish and deep tissue was nice and had good pressure, which I was okay with. I also really liked the hot stone, and they even included some head massage, which I enjoyed. I would've liked a little more time on the foot massage, but overall it was relaxing and worth it. My only complaint was the face rest on the table felt a little sticky, which made me question if it had been cleaned properly. The rest of my group had mixed experiences. One of my friends didn't really enjoy hers because it seemed like her masseuse wasn't very experienced. She had to keep asking for more pressure, and the lower body was almost skipped because most of the focus stayed on the upper body. She left pretty disappointed. She didn't get any stretch that she requested for and even the upper body massage was very disappointing. My other friend also didn't have the best experience either so I do think it really depends on who you get. Out of the four of us, two would rate it a 4/5, one would rate it a 3/5, and one would rate it a 2/5. Overall, I'd say the place has potential, but your experience can vary a lot depending on the therapist. Definitely communicate what you want before/during the massage.

After eight sessions of massage therapy and one facial, it's time for me to sing the praises of…read morethis place. But first, a brief history of how I decided to seek massage therapy. I am 67 years of age and was experiencing the aches and pain of growing older. I finally had enough of going to my primary care physician and getting no relief. All she would do is prescribe medication, which gave me little to no real relief. In fact, I was experiencing more of the negative side effects than positive ones. She finally recommended sports therapy. But I had been there and done that during major surgery rehab. That's when I decided to seek the alternative of massage therapy, and because i did, my life has been changed for the better. After eight sessions with Audrey since July 31st, two custom, one therapeutic, two Swedish, two CcranioSacral and one Lymphatic, all of my chronic aches and pain have been eliminated. No more constant neck, shoulders and left foot pain. I no longer need to take all of those toxic pharmaceutical medications, including for blood pressure and a statin for cholesterol. In September, Victoria gave me my first ever facial and it was fantastic. It won't be the last. I now sleep better and don't have to sleep as long. I can do things now that I would not have dreamed of trying less than six months ago, I feel and look better than I have in a long time. My family and friends have noticed the difference too.
