I called and left a couple voicemails over two days and did not receive a response, so I followed up over email indicating I'd be going in a different direction, and then Melissa called. We aligned on details and Melissa told me my date was "locked" and we agreed I'd pay the deposit as soon as she sent a proposal with the details. Four days went by, then Melissa sent me an email saying she could no longer honor the committed date. Very frustrating when working on short time scales during a stressful home sale process.
