Driving from the Cliffs of Moher to our hotel in Cork, we realized that we were famished, and would need to stop for an early dinner as soon as possible. We asked Google to stop at a high rated restaurant along the way, and it added An Teach Bia. We pulled into a really cute town, with a large bridge over a river and some waterfalls in the center, and a very busy main street. An Teach Bia was easy to find due to the pink front, and there was street parking in front of it. The menu was a bit limited, changing as we sat there, but everything was delicious. It was a tough choice between getting their beef and Guiness stew or baked salmon, or the sandwiches, and we decided that for an early dinner, sandwiches might be more appropriate. Proper tea/coffee selection and chips as well. Small dessert selection as well. Service was top notch and prices very fair. read more
