My doctor was switched and I was never informed until I arrived at my appointment today. My doctor no longer works here (Dr.Yoder) was my physician The doctor (PA) Sonila Musta Kina that I saw today is the absolute WORST doctor I've ever encountered! She was very dismissive, she took me off of medications that I've been on for years (I have Lupus and fighting to not get stomach cancer) but because she doesn't like them she removed them and said that I need a specialist to get those medications.. this is the same office that have refilled my medications plenty of times before. Fast forward I then heard her kindly speak to other patients (ones that skin isn't like mine) and it was a completely different tone. I don't know if she ended up given them just as bad service and care as she did me but I will NEVER see her again (I rather die). Then I requested to speak to the office manager and she wasn't no help.. the PA really got nasty after I wanted to speak to the office manager. This was the MOST disrespectful and disgusting appt I've ever had! I will be lookin for a new MD today! Save yourself and don't come here!!

While I was never a patient there, St.Vincent's has been phenomenal in taking care of my boyfriend and my Mother when they had issues. It never dawned on me that behind the hospital in the Joe Adams building they were seeing people for everyday care. I went in and the staff were so friendly, seeing that I was a new patient. I had requested they send me all the new patient paperwork in the mail so that I could fill it out ahead of time, especially the medical records transfer and they did this in a matter of days. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. My new doctor, Dr. Katie Longo, might be slightly younger than me but she was so helpful an courteous. We reviewed all my old records and anything that may have come up since my last doctor's visit and she put everything in the system. She also informed me that I don't need certain exams as often as I had been going prior. I wish my old doctor had told me that. I could have saved myself unnecessary trips. I really like her and I love how it's so close to me now. I would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone.

First of all listening - listening is one of the most key essential elements a physician needs. One of the greatest talents that Dr. Mills has is his demonstrated listening skills. He does it without judgment without pre-conception and without prior opinions. His open ended questions and his strong assessment skills truly put a patient at ease. This was the first time I've had a physical where my blood pressure was not up and I truly was not uncomfortable. Dr. Mills is truly a special gifted physician who is patient centered a rare quality among many in today's environment where the goal is to get them in and out as quickly as possible. During my time with Dr. Mills he truly made me feel that at that moment in time I was the only one that mattered.

She is not going to send you to countless specialists. It's a small office and she gets to know her patients on a personal level. And what's even better is she has now has non-invasive cosmetic treatments in house and Botox. I feel it's safer getting this done by a real medical doctor. And her staff has been with her for years. Her husband also is a doctor and shares office space with her.

Many times I try to make an appointment, nobody is available to answer the phone. Or when I need prescription refill, I am told I must be seen prior to being eligible for refill which is totally understandable. However, my concern is that the physician will leave out of state for multiple weeks at a time and not reach out to her clients to inform them of her absence and PROVIDE ZERO RESOURCES OR REFERRALS leaving her patients without care and medication for an extended amount of time. When I share my frustrations, I am told sorry and I can be seen within 2-3 weeks. I don't even know how this is ethical but I wouldn't waste your time. You are only a number and not a valued patient with this practice.

I have been in 3 other hospitals in my life so the MAYO makes the 4th. I have been there for…read moretests and several procedures working up to an open heart operation . Unless they have to change it I will be there the last week of May. In one day I generally have 3 or 4 appointments & I go effortlessly from one to another where they are waiting for you. It is scary but they have been so professional I feel all will be fine.

The Mayo Clinic was nothing like promised or expected. They don't even meet their own advertising…read moreon the website. I asked my personal physician to make a recommendation to solve some of the health issues I was having. He suggested the Mayo because they give you a "team" of doctors to go over you from head to toe. Since some of my friends had also suggested I go to the Mayo I agreed and my doctor set up the appointment and forwarded my medical history to them. The Clinic is about three hours from my home so I anticipated spending at least one night in a hotel. I was somewhat surprised when the first doctor, a cardiologist, saw me but knew nothing of my history. Fortunately I did bring a disk and some printed copies however he seemed overwhelmed. From my verbal description he set up a number of tests and appointments with other doctors. Okay, maybe this will work. But no, getting appointments for tests and other doctors, in some cases, took months. To make a long story short, I spent 5 months driving back and forth, staying in hotels, paying for meals and gas to find out there was no "team" effort and very little follow up. Tests would be conducted and results did show up on the app very quickly but I really needed a doctor to "translate" the results into layman terms. The only real follow up I received was not from a doctor but from a PA who seemed to think high blood pressure and rapid heartbeat were not a big deal. What they didn't tell me were the more serious issues the tests discovered that I only found out about those after showing my personal physician the results. In my opinion, the normal operating procedure at the Mayo is 1) see a doctor, 2) have him schedule tests and other appointments and 3) wash your hands of that patient and go on to another. One other issue to be concerned about, their billing department is totally inflexible. Some of the cost of tests ordered were rejected by Medicare. I found out the reason was simple, they just needed a reason for the tests, a simple matter of coding. Billing would not budge, I was told that I signed a form saying I would pay what Medicare did not cover. Yes, I did, but I never expected THEY would not bill it correctly. I contacted the doctor who ordered the tests and of course got his assistant who was also inflexible, that I had to work it out with Medicare. Unfortunately that is not how it works. Don't expect to get any real results from this place but do expect to waste a lot of your time and money. The doctors are uncaring and seemed rushed, more so to get rid of you than to solve any health issues. They should really be ashamed but I doubt it.
