A great experience with Eli and ANA Garage Doors! Great communication and showed up on time with frequent updates along the way. He is based in Brooklyn, but came out to Syosset. We had previously used one of those national franchise outfits and felt they were ripping us off and finding all sorts of things to strong arm you into adding to the job. Not so with Eli. Did what he came to do (broken spring and cable), pointed out a few things that might be a problem in the future, but did not push us to repair those at this point, as they were still working well. Lubricated all tracks, hinges, and rollers at no additional cost. Eli clearly took pride in his craftsmanship. My 25+ year old vinyl gargage door was dented where the rubber seal is. In addition to that, the rubber seal needed to be replaced. I called another garage company and was told nothing could be done to fix it since it was vinyl and I would need to replace the whole door. Was quoted a cost for a steel door - not vinyl. Found ANA on Yelp, messaged them and within 15 minutes, Eli replied. He came out the next day, explained how it could be repaired and commented on the fact that with simple regular maintenance going forward, my door would last for many more years. He also checked the springs and confirmed they were in good shape and did not need replacing. He came back, fixed the door, replaced the rubber seal, pulleys, and rollers.
