I LOVE getting my thai massage from Jessica. At first, I had no idea what to expect. But Jessica is so calm and supportive, that I quickly realized that I was in good hands. Literally. I've received this type of massage all over SE Asia and Jessicas is by far the best!! She is an incredibly gifted practitioner of Thai massage! She is intuitive, caring and thorough. She uses her hands, feet, limbs and torso to stretch and massage you. She has a technique called Monkey feet that's my favorite. It actually feels like a monkey is gripping and rubbing you with her feet! Super cool! She is very sensitive & aware and checks in with you regularly to make sure you're feeling comfortable with the various techniques. I've had many a massage where you can tell the practitioner is not present.... off thinking about what's for dinner or something. Jessica is present and very thoughtful in every moment. Thats not easy and a true gift. I so love the contact/movement of this style of massage and just being able to lie there and let someone else stretch and move me. I have back problems and have periodically gotten massages to help with it. I usually go to Massage Envy and I have found it to be pretty nice but the relief was always short-lived. A co-worker of mine told me about Thai Massage and recommended that I go to Jessica. Thai Massage is quite different than a standard massage you get at a place like Massage Envy. Your body gets moved around a lot more as opposed to just laying there on a table. My experience with it was great. As far as helping my back goes, it helped far more than standard massage and the relief I felt lasted quite a while. Jessica's space is very calm and there is a really good energy there. I've never had Thai massage before I met Jessica and now it's my favorite massage. I really like how it's a combination of stretching and compression. She's very strong and can really loosen those tight muscles - I feel taller afterward. No messy oils, no needing a shower afterward like I would with a swedish massage.
