We found Ancash Roadside Assistance on Yelp and called because they had such great reviews. He answered immediately, sent me a location-sharing request, and arrived in about 20 minutes. After spending nearly two hours stranded on the side of the road, that level of responsiveness was a huge relief. Once he arrived, he got right to work and had the tire changed in less than 15 minutes. The entire process was quick, efficient, and stress-free, and we were safely back on the road much faster than expected. My only suggestion for improvement would be to introduce yourself before getting started. It was dark, and we were two women stranded on the side of the highway. When he arrived, he pulled up behind us and immediately started changing the tire without introducing himself. I genuinely appreciated the urgency and willingness to jump right in and get the job done, but in that situation, a quick introduction would have gone a long way in helping us feel more comfortable and know that the person approaching our vehicle was the roadside assistance we had called. Overall, though, the service was excellent. He showed up when we needed help, worked quickly, and got us moving again in no time. I wish I could rate the quality of the tire change service but unfortunately this company never made it to our appointment. I was initially told it would be an hour and 15 minute wait. Called back an hour and a half later and was told it would be another hour. Called again in another hour and was told they were in a totally different city and it would take another hour and a half. I should've given up at this point but the service person sent me a screenshot of their eta and guaranteed that they would be on time this go around. Have mixed feelings here. My car tire got flat late last night just as I was pulling into my driveway. Called AAA and saw that I would miss work tomorrow as they did not have my tire and would tow my car to a nearby tire store. That meant I would have to uber my kids to school and uber myself to the tire store. Decided to ask for a mobile tire change service. Ancash quickly texted and came in 40m while communicating eta. Service was great. Probably took an hour and 15m in the very cold weather. Replaced the tire with an USED tire which I found out about this morning. paid 145 dollars and gave a 20 dollar tip. I should have known better as there were MANY USED tires of different sizes in the back of his truck. I am ok with a used tire as long as it is communicated in what appears to be a one man company advertisements. A 75-85 dollar new tire plus an hour worth of labor for 60 dollars would mean 145 dollars in my opinion. This is simply dishonest even if the response, communication, and service were great. read more
