The reviews don't lie, he has pretty much an entire full service tire repair shop in his truck. Fortunately we were able to have our punctured tire with a slow leak fixed at home in our driveway rather than the middle of the street someplace. I called him since it was late afternoon after the local tire shops were closed. He did an excellent job and surprised me by showing me the nail I saw wasn't even the main problem, there was a second nail further into the tire that I wasn't able to easily see. He even gave me the nail as a souvenir haha. Prices are reasonable for coming to your location and being available nearly around the clock compared to the limited hours at most tire shops. I did take a little while longer than planned to come but I was at home and he was busy so it all worked out. Super nice guy and first class professional work. D.J. of Mr. Quickpick is absolutely awesome! I called him for service on my vintage Buick Century as a tire had gone flat and the wire wheel lock was frozen. Not only did he manage to free up and remove the lock, he took the tire off and replaced the defective valve in the back of his truck. He checked to be sure the tire was true and remounted it... all within an hour. Very patient and careful with his work, plus we had a nice chat. All in all, an excellent experience that saved me from having my car towed then waiting around for who knows how long, just hoping to get it fixed correctly. So, here's the deal. You read these reviews and I'll admit it, you wonder if they're real or not. I am real. I really had a problem. Mr. Quickpick really fixed me. My kid had a flat tire in NE, and because of reasons, was nowhere near the car. I called Mr. Quickpick, and he arrived within an hour, figured out what was wrong (and took pictures of it so I could confirm the problem), found a tire for me well past open hours for a tire store, and put the tire on the car. And the price was so good, I tossed a forty dollar tip on there. He didn't ask for one, but damn! The man was so fast and good, I felt like I wanted to. My tire caught a bad flat on the highway. I was able to hop off just across the bridge and was, unfortunately, in a semi-busy spot for help. I called my insurance company and was told the first tire repair company they chose wouldn't come to my location due to the traffic and that I would have to get towed. I requested they call a second company and I'm so glad I did because not only was DJ open to coming, he was there in under 20 min. DJ was polite, funny and super helpful (even unknowingly helping with a water issue I have with my door). The whole process took less than 20 min and he even gave me advice on how I should handle the tire repair - which was also very helpful. This was my first time using Mr. Quick Pick roadside service. A friend and I had a flat tire from a nail. We called and Dejene (DJ) said he would be there in 15 minutes. He got there in 12 minutes. He was extremely friendly and helpful with instructions to find the nail. He explained what he was doing and why, so I could follow. We found the nail and he discussed options for what we could do. He was pretty funny- making a stressful situation less so. After he fixed the tire and pumped it up, he checked the pressure on the rest of the tires. He pumped them up for free. My dumbass locked my keys in my truck at eleven o'clock on a Friday at the start of a holiday weekend. Considering the fact that the last time I had locked myself out I ended up paying $180 on a weekday morning, I was highly considering just breaking my window and paying for that instead. My husband (the rational one) found Mr. Quickpick, and after a brief discussion, he arrived within fifteen minutes. It took him all of five minutes to get my door open, and I cannot tell you how relieved I was at his expediency, cheerful demeanor, and entirely reasonable rate less than half of what I was expecting. I got a flat tire between jobs, called for a quote and ETA. DJ originally said 45 minutes, but when I told him I needed to be at work in 1.5 hours, he got there in 25 minutes! He was very friendly, patiently answered my many questions, and made some smart recommendations for my car's longevity without being condescending. I called DJ at 5am on a Friday with what I thought was a nail in my tire. He got there in about 20 minutes despite being all the way out in Virginia and I'm in DC. We found out that I actually had a big hole in the side of my tire (I did not previously closely examine the tire) and it would have to be towed. But he didnt just leave me high and dry; DJ took pictures of my tire and told me what to tell a tire shop to make sure they had my tire in stock. What a way to end the year, with a flat tire down the street from my house. I called and Dejene (DJ) came out pretty quickly about 25 minutes from when I called and saved the day! I thought he would put the spare tire on my VW Routan (spare is under the car and hard for me to get to) but he found the nail that caused the flat and was able to plug it. I'm sure he saved me a lot of money from a shop telling me that I needed a new tire, when it only needed a plug. He inflated the tire enough to get the nail out, plug it, check it and then reinflated the tire to the correct pressure. Super efficient, knowledgeable and very personable, DJ was a true professional and did an excellent job for a fair price.
