Anchor Nissan dealership advertises a 24hr fast charging system for EV cars. I pull in with a new Nissan Leaf that I rented with 3% left after checking two other locations that were not built yet or broken. it's pouring rain and freezing. I try to use the charger and pay. I go inside to ask about it. A. Nissan tells me it's not for customers to use! I tell them my issue and say I'll pay. they checked with the manager. then A. Nissan tells me it's broken! what a bunch of clowns ! I am in a damn Nissan electric POS !!! this car is a nightmare!!! don't buy it don't waste your money and don't buy it from Asshat Nissan dealership! read more

Do Not purchase a Vehicle from this Dealership ANCHOR NISSAN or bring your Vehicle to be serviced by Anchor Nissan. I brought my 2020 Nissan Murano in for 4 new tires, alignment and inspection. I dropped my SUV off at 7:45am for an 8am appointment. The service desk told me it should be ready by noon. Needless to say it was ready till 2:25pm. the Service Desk left me a jumbled voice mail saying my SUV did not pass inspection due to cracked windshield and that I probably just didn't notice it was cracked and that she filed a claim but was waiting to hear about the claim. Well my windshield was not cracked when I left the SUV! I go in my SUV was NOT in the parking lot waiting for me! I had to go in and wait another 30 minutes because they were busy looking at the cameras with an 11am to 1:30pm time stamp. I dropped my SUV off at 7:45am. I asked them why they weren't looking at that time stamp the time i dropped it off! They then go on to say how they are NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE THAT HAPPENS TO YOU VEHICLE WHILE ON THEIR PROPERTY! I NOW HAVE A DAMAGED WINDSHIELD I NEED TO REPLACE! OF COURSE NO MANAGER WAS ON SITE. VERY SHADY and not OK basically calling me an idiot and a liar. My SUV had a perfectly perfect windshield, i would have noticed the crack in a heart beat! So go stick it. read more

This dealership is by far one of the best I've ever been to. You're not immediately hounded by sales people, you're not pressured into anything, you are allowed to leave whenever the heck you want, without salespeople pressuring you to stay and consider buying a car. I bought a 2023 Nissan pathfinder platinum. The car is AMAZING. The price was AMAZING. My overall experience with anchor has been seamless, made so extremely simple by their hard work and dedication to their customers. Eric Fera was my salesperson; he was not intimidating, he had answers to any random questions I could think of, he was extremely helpful during the process of adding the new car to my insurance policy, and just so many other great things. He also told me on many different occasions if I ever have any questions or anything to reach out to him, he'd be more than happy to help. Very, very pleased with the overall car buying experience at anchor Nissan. One last thing... the sales manager, Derrek Sanger, in addition to Eric, made something very special and heartwarming happen for my two young kids who recently unexpectedly lost their dad. My kids and I had been driving their dads truck around pretty much since dad passed away, until one night it broke down. Long story short, I knew I'd be trading it in soon anyways so we had it towed to anchor so they could assess and fix the issues, blah blah blah that's not my point. My 6 year old son was devastated that we were getting rid of dads truck & he was really sad that he never got to properly say goodbye to it. Derrek and Eric made it possible so that I could bring my son there to say goodbye to the truck. They could've totally ignored my requests to do this... they could've brushed me off and fed me some BS but instead they made it happen. They told me whenever I can get the kid there, they'll make it happen. And they did. That might've been my favorite part about the whole experience here at Nissan. Recently came here because my wipers died and of course it was going to rain that day and I needed my car to get to a nursing clinical in pm. They're great about getting you in same day and doing repairs but at a cost. I was charged a $145 diagnostic fee to diagnose my broken wipers. It was a $20something dollar part but ended up costing me $177. That's the cost of convenience. I have a warranty backed by Ford for my Nissan but they don't accept it so if I chose to service my car here for warranty work I would need to pay out of pocket then wait for refund. They also said I needed break pads and a new axel because the boot was torn and could fix it that day. I declined because I needed to get home, it was $ and I'm pretty sure my axel would be covered under warranty but they considered it wear and tear. Fast forward to last week. I brought my car to Tasca Ford in Cranston because they said they would honor my warranty and repair my car. Both axels were damaged AND covered under my warranty. FYI get a second opinion always before dishing out a ton of $ to them. Overall they seem nice and they are accommodating but definitely overpriced. read more

Went in for a recall on my keys. Should take 5 minutes. 40 minutes later they say the keys are ready but I need tie rod work. I never gave them permission to go into my car or touch anything. Also I took the car to my mechanic when I bought it a month ago and had him go through it, so If the tie rods were bad we would have told me. Then I get in my car and the seat and all the mirrors had been moved around. This is why I only go to dealerships for recalls or warranty work. And when that happens, it won't be at this place. read more

Don't expect the salesperson to actually what he says he will do during the sales process. Get it in writing! And when you take him to task on it, the "Sales Manager", steps in & texts you to explain that you hurt the poor salesman's feelings, yep, he's a Millennial, and going forward, I have to reach out to Manager even though he takes the salesman's word over a customer, no doubt. Even when they ALL know, the salesman lied by ommitting all the facts until he was forced to. This used to be a great family dealership. they're just another money hungry business that care about profit over people every time. 2nd time, I have had issues during the sales process, but I'm not sure what insanity brought me back. DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE HERE! DISHONEST! NO SERVICE AND NISSAN DOESN'T EXPECT CARS TO BE RELIABLE! I purchased a car I was under the impression was a certified preowned vehicle here in the spring/summer. A few weeks ago the gear shift stopped working, making the car undrivable and stuck in the "park" position. I had the car towed. When brought into the dealership to be serviced, I was told it was not covered under the extended warranty I purchased at the point of sale. I asked what they thought was wrong with the vehicle and the rude service secretary told me "it's not what we think, it's what we know". The Nissan dealership charged me for the half hour they looked at the vehicle while I sat waiting for two hours in the waiting room. They informed me the car needed a new shifter assembly. (so...Nissan parts aren't built to last and you won't stand behind them in the least?!) I tried the 1-800-Nissan number and was informed there was nothing they could do, while the car was at one point certified preowned, it never was for me under my name, and the warranty sold to me by the dealership at the point of sale, was actually a third-party warranty. I called the warranty number and was told they simply wouldn't cover that part. I asked if a mechanic found an alternate reason for the issue could that mechanic make a new claim. They said no, unless myself and the mechanic were 40 miles away or more from the dealership. My reliable mechanic actually took a good look at the vehicle, found the contact points inside the shifter simply needed to be cleaned, did so, and now the car works. The complete lack of service for a vehicle they sold me LESS THAN A YEAR AGO AND WOULD NOT OPERATE, was insane and disgusting. The rude secretary did not in fact know what was wrong with it and I was about to be charged for a whole new shifter assembly the car did not actually need. Left team Nissan on this one. They really don't expect their cars to last. read more

My husband bought a Frontier here 3 years ago. At the time there was no manual transmission available. He recently purchased a used 2019 Frontier and wanted to have it checked out just in case there was anything wrong. The service department went through it and checked just about everything possible. This is the worst car dealership I have ever been to. They don't give a rats ass about you or the car you take in. I have been to this dealership a couple times and NEVER again. I needed a screw for under my car. A piece of plastic is dragging on the floor from the last time I brought it in here. A guy came out to help and said he would go look if they had the screw and never came back. The manager had lots of attitude and kind of laid into me for parking near the garage. Brian went above and beyond to make sure I felt very comfortable about my decision of turning in my leased BMW to purchase a 2020 Altima Platinum. Beware. I purchased a pre-owned Nissan in December 2018, the finance manager attempted to upsell me on an extended vehicle wrap. I was alone, so he said I could select an option and have 30 days to cancel it with no fee. Within 15 days I opted to decline the coverage, and it took multiple emails to get Anchor to respond. They said they would issue the cancel and my bank would receive payment in 4-6 weeks. Now it is Mid April and I still have not received my money back on the coverage. read more

I was looking for a low mileage 2009/10 Pathfinder. - They had many models to choose from; - The price was very low (lower than a 2006 base model with twice the miles at another dealership); - The purchasing process was pretty much painless; - I got a reasonable offer for my trade-in; - The salesman, Eric, is just a normal guy doing a good job, and not your typical car sales douche; - They removed all dealer badging from the car and didn't give me a hard time. I can't complain about being able to charge up my new Nissan Leaf here on my lunch hour. The stations on the side of the shop weren't working, so one of the service folks offered to move it to the one in the back. When I was ready to pick it up, another employee brought the car back around to the front. Then I drove back to work and found a deep dent and some scratches on the driver's side rear that had not been there that morning. Now I had had this car for all of four days, and had been showing it off to everyone, so there was no question in my mind where or when the damage came from. I completely understand that accidents happen and that cars get dinged, and getting the charge was all that I cared about, but I would have appreciated being told that my car had been damaged. So five stars for the charge, none for honesty. read more

Actually, if I could minus a star, I certainly would. This morning I was accompanying someone to drop off their car at this dealership. The car had been towed from a vacation spot in Maine, and was on a trailer being towed by a u-haul truck. While we were in the yard and the driver was trying to back up the truck so the car could come off the trailer and be put in a spot. We were confronted by Bob Benoit (HE EXPLAINED TO US THAT HE OWNED THE LAND THAT WE WERE ON, AND WE WERE IN HIS WAY)!! The transmission had failed on the Nissan Murano that was on the car trailer, so we were going to have to push it into a spot. Six of us were there and we gathered along w/Bob and at least 6 other people, guessing that they were employees of the business. He continued to shout at us, saying, "I don't care about your business. Get the car off my property if you don't like my attitude. I have a business that I have to open up and you are in my way!" He even told my brother-in-law to go F himself. (his tirade took longer than it would have taken to drop the car) Bob never spoke to us, he only yelled. We were there to drop off a vehicle and schedule $5000.00 in repairs. I have lived in North Smithfield all of my life and doing business locally is important to me. We did not leave the car at Anchor, nor will we do business with this dealer ever. If the OWNER opens his business by shouting at the first customers he sees in the morning, who would expect this would be a good place to do business? =============== Over this past weekend I had to visit 3 Nissan Dealerships in New England!!! Stanley Nissan in Ellsworth Maine, EXCELLENT.... Balise Nissan in Warwick, RI where I am having the repairs done, EXCELLENT... and Anchor Nisssn, N. Anchor Nissan purposely misleads people (and diagnosing cars) into believing something might be covered by not fully explaining a warranty that is in front of them by oh so carefully choosing their words. They have a $1 million dollar overhead to meet monthly that is the root of the employees stressing every dollar and providing poor customer service. My story: In August 2018 I had an issue that went on for a total of 3 weeks that I originally called into Nissan of North America about. During the 3 way phone call I spoke with a woman named Mary who allowed me and a rep from Nissan Corporate to believe that my car at 73103 miles would be covered under part of the exhaust warranty that had not expired it was for 2 engine codes that we already knew about. Like any other dealership or mechanic they needed to have their techs take a look at it -fine. Totally understand as this is normal in every shop. After bringing my car into have it checked out, see if they can fix it or anything only then am I told the warranty that Mary (had in front of her the entire time and had no problem quoting now) would not be covered under the 60k warranty (which I knew) or the exhaust warranty (which she led me to believe) so the job would be $550 if not my diagnostic was $150. I was upset spoke with a supervisor -Stephanie who backed Mary up quoting her words exactly the same. My issue wasn't the $150 but, the lack of transparency. Why would you not just tell me, 'Hey by the way if it is these two codes we already know about your repair won't be covered'. That would have left the relationship on a much more even playing ground and be fair to both parties. They are a Nissan dealership, I have a Nissan maybe I would have chose to get my repair done there? Who knows. Instead being a smaller dealership they thought about their own financial bottom line and there overhead. Therefore putting profits over people. Long boring story short the repair ended up needing those 2 codes, another one or two done and finally something else bringing the repairs to just over $1000. They lost out on a good chunk of change just to worry about $150 diagnostic fee. Shame on them. My advice: Find a larger more reputable Nissan dealership even for emergent needs. I called into Nissan of North America to complain as they misdiagnosed my car which is poor service as is. I don't think I will be going back here. If the dealership would think about long-term customer retention/satisfaction they would stand to greatly benefit. read more

It was so amazing experience throughout, I definitely recommend them. I bought a pre-owned Honda Accord, 2010 model. Great condition, great price. Took my recent new purchase for service. Firstly the women at the front desk is incredibly rude. Not only to myself but to a family member that dropped off the car for me. When I picked up the car it was filthy- certainly not in the condition I dropped the car off in. They got pen on my cream colored interior drivers seat!!!! The door frames were covered with foot prints that had to be scrubbed off, and it appears they attempted to remove the sticker on the back of my car from another dealership but were unsuccessful, leaving black scuff marks on my white car. Will NEVER go back there for service. read more

When we got there we were greeted by Eric, who is very personable and defiantly not a high pressured sales representative. To begin, let me say that working with the folks at Anchor Nissan was the anomaly of our car shopping experience, which began with pulling into the lot and NOT getting hounded by salesmen. It wasn't until we walked into the building that we were greeted with a smiling and welcoming young man, named Sean. We told him what we wanted, and he responded quickly, communicated clearly, and was there as support and a resource to answer our questions, as needed. In previous experiences at competing dealerships, we had to wait through history lessons and useless niceties before we could test drive a car; sit through shady discussions about pricing on vehicles while being treated like we were stupid; but here at Anchor, every step of the way was handled respectfully, quickly without being rushed, fairly and transparently. Sean not only demonstrated how incredibly knowledgeable he was about Nissans, but also some competing vehicles in the same class, which allowed us to make a solid comparison and an educated decision. He wasn't wordy, pushy, corny, or any other adjective that one might use to describe a car salesman. In fact, we had fun and laughed and smiled the entire time, solely due to Sean and his charming and human interaction. I would go out of my way to work with Sean again on future purchases. He even took additional time to understand what we were looking for in terms of features, colors, mileage and pricing, and brought some vehicles to our attention that we weren't aware that they had - all while suggesting we sit in the air-conditioned car while he ran around the lot in the heat. It is also worth noting that Mike, the sales manager, and Eric, the finance manager were also great to work with. Mike took the time to work to get us a great deal, while remaining transparent and fair during the process. Upon returning to pick up our newly purchased vehicle, we were also able to meet one of the owners, Brian, who made time to ask us about our experience and share a few smiles and stories. As a result of the entire experience, Anchor Nissan has now gained loyal service customers in addition to winning our business on the vehicle! I have been coming here for few years and getting the routine maintenance. I didn't like their service but they were the closest nissan dealer for me. but now it seems is the time to expose them i had a issue with my car about 2 years ago, i dropped my car and they could not find any issue on the car as per them everything was perfect. to much my dislike i drove the car as is until recently it become worse. I dropped the car and they found the issue gave me a quote of 3k. I question them i brought the car with the same issue when it was under warranty and they bluntly rejected my claim. i had to dig and find the service copy when I brought the car complaining about the same issue. the service manager came and told me we will split it half and half. why do i pay 1.5k because my dealer messed it up. since I didn't have any choice and pay the half. i called the other dealers in my area to find the price to do that work, i was shocked to know two of the nissan dealers quoted me a price between $1500 - $1700. I called anchor nissan and told them about the quotes from other dealers, the answer i got was " bring the car to them then" I would not recommend them to any one, they are rip off's.... Went there with my wife to by a rogue on Monday we made a deal with the dealership sign a deal that day and all we were waiting was for the finance that was going to be done the following day The next day finance came in all set to sign the papers we went in and they checked my trade came back and they want to change the deal now they want us to give them another 500 to make the deal happen because there was some rust in the tail gate of my truck and they were saying that I did not disclose that info I told them I did and it was in the paper that I had signed the day before and sure enough they pulled the paper and there it was But that didn't matter they still wanted another 500 they went back on their deal after we had signed the agreement on price I guess agreements to them ( management ) it's just a peace of paper his response was that the deal paper that I had signed was subject to the truck inspection that is what he told me I read the paper and there is no such thing written on that paper and no such thing was disclosed the day before by the sales person So I caution you going there because they are not a honest dealership specially the manager read more
