Our BMW X5 has been costing us a mint since the warranty ended....literally within 6 months everything started to break. I had yet another problem yesterday and went over to Warwick BMW to drop off the car. I decided to take the loaner they gave me and drive over to Lexus in the same park. I realized that my favorite tech from BMW now worked at Lexus when I arrived and he told me to talk to Kyle. I told Kyle that I was interested in a GX 470, but needed to see how much the BMW fix would cost before I committed. Fast forward a couple of hours....the BMW fix was going to be more than $2K and Kyle had taken $8K off the price of the Lexus. Done deal!! Great employees and specifically service folks. I had, and am still having, a very disappointing experience with Lexus of Warwick. I waited more than five weeks for a vehicle that I was told had been ordered to my specifications. When I received a call that the car had arrived and was ready for delivery, I made plans to complete the purchase and turn in my current lease. Unfortunately, when I arrived at the dealership, I discovered that the vehicle was not what I had ordered. Several of the features that were important to me and part of my purchase decision were missing. Afterward, I received conflicting explanations about what had happened, making an already frustrating situation even more disappointing. I understand that mistakes can happen. What matters is how they are handled. Rather than receiving a clear explanation and a satisfactory resolution, I felt that my concerns were minimized despite the significant inconvenience, wasted time, and disruption this caused. To make matters worse, I am still waiting for the vehicle that was originally ordered. After more than five weeks of waiting, being told the car was ready, and then learning it was not the correct vehicle, I am now facing additional delays while continuing to wait for the vehicle I agreed to purchase. I do want to acknowledge that the sales representative was professional, apologetic, and genuinely tried to help. My frustration is not with him personally, but with the overall handling of the situation and the lack of accountability from management. I chose Lexus because of its reputation for quality and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience with Lexus of Warwick has not reflected the level of professionalism, communication, and customer care I expected from the Lexus brand. read more

I've owned the car 3+ months and I've used the service department twice (5k maintenance and a few dealer-only adjustments). Now that the new car smell is gone, I can judge the transaction with a clear head and can say buying a new car here was a great decision and an extremely - dare I say it? - easy and pleasant experience!! Three visits to test drive (Dave) to make sure I chose the right model for me, and two email exchanges with the sales manager (Geoff) and the deal was made. After joining the forums and FB group for the TX I can say I think I got a very fair deal. No pressure at all (we've all heard the horror stories of new car shopping) - just a polite and civil back and forth. My service advisor (Peppino) has been an absolute delight to work with. Love the car - and the dealership experience has been "Very Lexus". I would recommend letting these folks have a chance to earn your business; I think they will. Love my TX - thanks guys!! read more

DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY REASON. I am extremely disappointed and I honestly feel sick to my stomach that I have to change my previous 5 star glowing review to a 1 star review. Honestly, I wish I could give them 0 stars. My experience with this dealership is the whole reason I do Yelp-to inform others of great places or scams like this. Here's the deal: last week I went in because there was a recall on my airbag. I asked them to also check my fluids because I got a notification saying an oil change was needed soon. After about 2 1/2 hours they informed me "you're all set to go, everything is good!" So I was excited that my Lexus was back in perfect condition. One week later, my Lexus said I needed an oil change. It's been about 5,000 miles since my last synthetic oil change and I don't need one for another 5,000 miles so I called them up. I was informed my Lexus can't be reset UNLESS I get an oil change with them. You know you can reset it yourself right? Anyways I was transferred to Mark Decker who informed me the guy who took care of my car (another Mark) did not inform me of the "problems" with my car and that I was "not good to go." He emailed me the report and low and behold, this is where the real problems start. The report I attached in the photos say I need a new battery which they can overcharge me on and make me pay $250 to replace, and air filter for $75, a cabin filter for $60, and new windshield wipers for $65 bucks. Are these people asking for a lawsuit? Walmart charges half that price and below those estimates. I went to Autozone, got a free battery test, and guess what? The battery is good, holding charge, absolutely nothing wrong with it. Check the photo I posted for proof. I also checked the air filters, no need to replace them yet, never had anyone tell me I need to replace cabin filters (the air smells fine to me), and the windshield wipers I replaced a few months ago. In summary, I was lied to saying I was "good to go," and when I confronted them they gave me a report I've never seen before with false claims. I honestly can't believe that they think they can scam people like this. I will be reporting them because this is engaging in fraudulent practices. Absolutely makes me sick that I have to deal with this. read more

The service department is top notch. They are very communicative. They send a video with commentary of your vehicle while it is on the lift. I had a dent removed and there was no evidence that it was ever there.They pick up and drop off your vehicle and leave you a loaner vehicle. Their service rates are very fair. I just talked with Annette at the dealership about a new vehicle that I saw on the website. She confirmed that it was available for sale. I shared with her that I would be registering the vehicle in South Carolina. Annette and I talked briefly and she stated that she needed to talk to the manager and get back to me. She called back shortly only to tell me that the manager did not want to sell the vehicle to an out of town customer. I asked her for some education on why that would be and she stated that they (the dealership) wanted to keep the vehicle local. I am dumfounded as to why anyone in sales would turn down a guaranteed sale based where the buyer is from. Is this discrimination? It feels like it. I'm not easily offended. I actually joke that one would have to stomp on my toes before I take offense. This felt like a slap in the face. Isn't that precious? As though this site doesn't have innumerable other people reporting the exact. same. thing: Lousy treatment of female car buyers. Lexus Warwick is the closest dealer to my house. I was disappointed in their service department a few years ago. I decided to give them another chance. I went in to buy a vehicle a week ago. I met the salesperson, Annette, did a test drive and decided to look at a few other cars. A few days later I finally decided to purchase the Lexus. I emailed and called Annette. She never returned my inquiries. I finally called the dealer directly and of course the car was sold just a few hours before. These people have no idea what they are doing. First they told me the car was available. Then Benjamin who would not give me his last name but he is the pre owned sales manager called and said sorry it was sold just a few hours ago. I would NOT recommend going to Lexus of Warwick to buy a car. My sale associate was J. Eric Lopes. I put a DEPOSIT on Monday 6/19 for the car I was purchasing and was told the car was mine and was off the lot. I was going to the dealer on Friday 6/23 when they told me the car would be ready. Well I get a call today 6/22 to tell me the car was sold to someone else yesterday and was off the lot. Eric was out yesterday and another salesman sold it to someone else. They didn't care that I had already turned my leased vehicle back to Chevy. How does this happen at a prestigious dealership is beyond me. Nobody else in the dealership didn't know the car was sold?? Or maybe because I'm a woman??? Hmmm. I dont recommend going there to anyone who wants to buy a car. They will sell it right under your feet to someone else. I guess deposits don't matter these days. I purchased my (used) Lexus RX from Lexus of Warwick and have been coming here for about 4 years now to get my car serviced. I have spent A LOT OF MONEY on repairs(it can happen with a used car) and although I do find the dealership very expensive, it's worth it to me. Mostly because I've never had the same problem twice and their quality of work is unmatched. I have tried other places(twice) to try and save money, but always end up back at Lexus of Warwick. Their customer service is impeccable. I've had my ups and downs here, mostly because of how expensive some of the quotes were and the issues with my car, but they find a way to make me comfortable and happy. I also love how they give a complementary rental and car wash with every service. Peppino has been my service tech for the most part. He's amazing! I'm pretty sure he thinks I'm crazy(lol) because I've flipped out about the cost of some of my repairs, but he's always Professional and understanding. I plan on purchasing a new vehicle soon and will most likely get it from Lexus, just like my current vehicle(which I must remind you, was purchased used). Moral of the story dont let a customer bring the car in for a basic maintenance recommend all these "modifications, upgrades and issues", allow me to come back and then not fix said issues you told me to fix and recommend another mechanic to do it. Like what is that? My dad told me stop taking my car to a valvoline and take it into a dealership so they can maybe see different issues. Well valvoline is cheaper and doesnt mess up at least but they still try to scam as well with the carbon air filter needing to be "replaced" for $50. Have a good day read more

I know dealers charge more for repairs than independent mechanics, but in my experience dealers have been competent. Not so Lexus of Warwick. I brought in my recently purchased used Lexus because the volume of the navigation system had gone very low. They said the amplifier needed to be replaced at a cost of about $3000, and if I didn't replace it, soon I would lose the volume of the radio and warning signals. The latter seemed highly unlikely to me. I am not knowledgeable about car repair, but I do know about electrical systems. I took the car to an independent mechanic. In about an hour, they determined that the problem was that a speaker had gone bad and the cost of the fix is much, much less than Lexus of Warwick would have charged, not to mention that if I'd shelled out $3000 for their work, it wouldn't even have fixed the problem. read more

Came in this past saturday shopping for a 2019 RX350 for my wife. The salesman Kyle was great and I would have really liked to give him the sale but unfortunately the sales manager couldn't make it happen. Before we involved my trade in, the deal was decent at best. They offered me $19000 for my trade in so i showed them that i already had offers from other dealers up to $21800. They tried talking to me like I was a fool and told me that this was the best they could do and that anyone giving me more was just going to add it to the back end so I left. On my way home I called up a friend that buys cars from auctions and he told me that my vehicle was going for $21000 at auctions and to take not a penny less. I decided to visit herb chambers lexus of sharon and ended up leaving there in a brand new Lexus! Not only did i end up getting $21500 for my trade but they capped the lexus at $4000 less than Inskip! I really wanted to purchase from Inskip for the convenience of it being 5 miles from my house but the drive to Sharon was totally worth it $2500 more for my trade in, $7000 off sticker & a much more beautiful car dealership & shopping experience! If you aren't happy with getting robbed for your trade for them to make up for the measly couple grand they took off sticker than i totally suggest taking a 30min ride to Lexus of Sharon! read more

Had my Lexus GS300 Collision Service at Lexus of Warwick a few years back in which my Hood and Right Fender was painted . Was expressed by the previous Service Manager that Lexus back all Collision Service and Quality for as long as you own the vehicle . As i did follow up on this agreement well is was totally the opposite . Expressed by the New Manager for Collision , was told that he would not honor that agreement and would only as a favor paint but not prep the hood as it should with a pocket expense . Which in detail means paint over everything without sanding or prep . And this is a Lexus Dealer , I could do the same with a can of spray-paint . My Rating is a Zero !!! read more

I was here on January 28th to buy a 2019 Lexus IS 300 fsport with only 17k miles. My sales consultant was Joe. He was great & even got me a deal! I also dealt with Alisha in financing she was so helpful and made sure all my questions were answered before leaving! They were both amazing made the car buying process so smooth & I was driving home the same day! Where it goes down hill is when I took my car to get ceramic coated and they informed me when they were torquing down my lug nuts to spec one of the studs snapped off. This to me isn't a shop error because they did the same pressure to all the studs and only had that one stud snap. So I called the service department on 2-10-22 at 5:20pm & I was told by molly there wasn't anyone available to help me & that someone would call me in the morning. On 2-11-22 morning came and went so at 4pm I called and spoke with molly again, she was not knowledgeable about the issues I was having, she kept referring to my wheel being broken, after being on hold for 20 min (yes 20 min) I was transferred to another service employee that told me my issue wouldn't be covered under manufacture warranty and it would be $400 to fix this problem on a car I've had less than a month. I don't recommend their service department at all. read more

The worst customer service experience I have had in my life. I have had an issue with my radio since August 2021. They had the car for weeks, replaced the radio twice and I still have the original issue. Yesterday I was told by the GM - "All of your issues have been addressed and all of your concerns have been escalated and handled with care. The car is operating as designed. We barely made it to the Service breezeway when our battery died. Driving from Martha's Vineyard through to Central PA, our visit was not a planned one. Guiseppi Palladino and a man training with him greeting us and took over the situation. It was before noon and was already a rough day. I felt Mr Palladino was genuinely interested in helping us and showed compassion for our 1999 Lexus ES300 with over 165,000 miles. He let us know he would order parts and provided us a loaner for a period of about 24hrs. With good friends in the area, we were able to turn our unexpected stop into a pretty fun visit. My family have been loyal Lexus drivers since 1996. My Dad's company supplied parts to Toyota since the 80's and we've bought five cars from Bobby Rahal Lexus in Mechanicsburg, PA. If ever relocated to the Providence area, you'll be our first stop. Thanks again to Mr. Palladino and the man training with him! My mother is in the market for a new car and asked me to help her shop around. Naturally we went to Inskip first. We walked into Lexus and browsed the showroom. Nobody approached us for the entire 10 minutes inside the building. There were about 2 parties being helped by salesman, and I am not sure if they were all busy, but we did not even get a simple "hello we will be right with you in a few minutes." I know the BMW dealership next door is the same owner, but their customer service is much better (an employee there approached us before even entering the building). The service department will rip you off be very aware of what you need done to your vehicle. I went in for a simple oil change. After about an hour the service manager come out with a list of things that supposedly need to get done, about $800 dollars worth. I declined the work but kept a copy of what needed to be done. After that I took my vehicle to five different mechanic shops and they all said nothings wrong with my vehicle! I have spoken the the service manager about this matter he said he would call me back. Needless to say he never called me back and when I call to speak to someone I get the run around. Stay away from the service department they are crooks! read more

I took my car in for a 40,000 mile oil change. They said I needed new tires which I believe but then while I was waiting for the car they called me to say that it also needed the differential fluid changed and the air conditioning cleaned. So I agreed to that and when I did some research later I realized I needed none of that --but they were very deceptive as on the receipt they put "owner requested these" which I absolutely did not do! So I got snookered and will not be going back there again. read more

2.5 stars Brought in my new to me Lexus yesterday (have 2 other Toyota in the driveway) and I knew as a new service client they would come back with a laundry list of recommendations. I also knew premium labor prices were involved. A number of the $4000 in suggested work are items I can and did myself (plugs, battery, filters, wiper, etc.) as those were silly priced and easy to do. I did have them do what ended up being about $1800 in work and the big ticket items was the alternator. I didn't feel like doing it myself.....and I knew a remanufactured alternator is $135 or so....I was happy to hear they would not be using a reman but a new OEM part. And I understood the much higher $490 part cost. BUT in looking at the invoice.....guess what it was a remanufactured alternator for that insane price of $490. Kinda pissed about this at this point..... In their favor, service manager was nice and I confirmed much of the same suggested work needed tone done.....and I did much of it when I got home. But WTF is up with the large overcharge on the reman'd alternator? Even if there was a miscommunication between "new OEM" and "OEM reman" the other local Lexus part counters carry this part for $350 NOT $490..... Yeah I am kinda pissed......probably won't be back. read more
