Amazing. 3 of us went out with Captain John and we put on the boat 60#, 56#, 40# and a couple other small Halibut less than 28" and we were all back to the dock for lunch. After John filleted out our Halibut, Linda and her team processed the meat, vacuum packed our fillets and the kept them in their freezer till our trip was over. Accommodations were a little primitive, but very comfortable, clean, modestly priced and had everything we needed. The view is spectacular. We booked the all day expensive Brooks Falls tour and we went in late August. The operator knew…read morethat the salmon had recently stopped running, and without salmon, there are no bears. They could have offered a refund and save us a day and money. It's a long expensive trip to see non-existent bears. We saw one bear laying in the falls and two in opening to the river. There are many spots to see a couple of bears without spending the day and a lot of money. The only service provided by the tour operator is ethe flight there and back as the rest is provided by the park services. The other problem is the viewing platform is stuffed with people (despite no bears). I can only imagine the crowd when there are bears so getting on the platform will be a problem.

He got us on the fish right away and filled us in with local knowledge, stories, etc. the guy busted is ass for us all day including cleaning and packing up or fish. Top notch. The place is close to the launch, which is an experience in itself. It's the only place I've seen boats get launched via tractors on the beach. He Cook Inlet has a million halibut charters and I'm sure most are fine. If you want to take away the guessing game, go with these guys.

She really just needed time in a pool to become comfortable in the water. The Bay Club salt water pool is SO warm and like an oasis in winter - I enjoyed our visits, too. I'd talk her into hugging me and I'd walk her around near the edge. Ellie slowly began branching out and trying new things on her own when there was no pressure (took about a month). After our first six months, she went from clinging to the ladder to diving for toys on the bottom, standing on her head and seeing how many laps she can do. The staff was always friendly and encouraging. We also played racquetball a few times with the provided equipment and enjoyed that. We love our Bay Club :)

Weight machines, squat racks, free weights, kettlebells, rowing machines, assault bikes, TRX, cardio machines, etc. They also a racquetball court, an indoor pool, and even steam rooms in the locker rooms, for men and women.

You Wont be Disappointed!…read more Our group of 6 made a last minute reservation for a halibut charter for 6/24/2019. Mary was able to put us on The Redemer with Cpt Eric. A glorious day of fishing. The boat is BIG, COMFORTABLE, made with Fishing in Mind, Fast and has all the comforts for any fisherman/fisherwoman. Excellent Equipment, plenty of good bait available, room to move about on the deck, inside table to relax at for lunch or to rest the tired arms and back from catching so many halibut. Our group limited out. Day 1 - We had a 90lb, a 50lb, and 30lbers for our bigs. Had a heck of a time catching the required small ones as the ones we kept bringing up were too big. " A problem that kept me smiling all day" We enjoyed it so much that we re-booked for Thursday 6/27/2019, again with Cpt Eric. Again we did well. With 4 in our group we took an 80lber, a 60lber, and two 40 lbers as our bigs.( Which is rare if you have chartered in this area before, usually you end up with 20-25 lbers) You cannot beat the price or experience. We even had a minke whale say hello to us less than 20' from the boat. Super Cool experience to add to the day. Cpt Eric is a consummate professional, knows his stuff, helps everyone who needs it, and doesn't mind untangling your lines. ( at least he smiled while unwrapping our lines) The whole process of chartering 2 different size groups for 2 different days was made super easy by Mary. One call did it all. Payment is cash or charge card, finding the meet up location was a breeze, having our fish cleaned and then taken next door to Tanners for vac sealing and flash freezing made this year's Halibut trip A+++++. After 20+ years of looking for a halibut charter I can come back to year after year, I have to admit, I think I have found my new home for years to come.
