I was in Bar Harbor on vacation when an important meeting surprised me: I had to get on a zoom call but the wifi in the hotel was not sufficient. I called and left an urgent message at Ancorspace. Nicole returned my call first thing in the morning and was able to get me access to a conference room in very short order. When my meeting was moved earlier Nicole was able to meet my changing schedule with ease. The facility was great - nice, clean, and quiet. Most importantly the technology allowed me to present without missing a beat. I actually found this to be one of the best deals as well. Considering the jam I was in they could of gouged me, but did the opposite! I'd highly recommend this facility to anyone as the facility was great and the team super flexible. Great space to use when you're in a pinch for a quiet place with strong wifi. I was on a road trip and needed a last minute spot for a Zoom meeting, and this was perfect. Great communication and directions. Would definitely use this space again if I were in the area. read more

This place is a LIFESAVER! Solid internet and really generous kind people. There's a nice kitchen and bathroom and good desk space. Right in the middle of town as well so you can run out and grab a bite. Plus the conference room is very quiet and stocked. This place made it possible for me to fly to Maine on a Wednesday night, get an early morning hike in and even a lobster roll lunch, take critical meetings and answer important emails, and then be off for a wonderful evening sunset activity and dinner. After touring Anchorspace I was left with the thought that Bar Harbor is really lucky to have this co-working facility. For those who are just starting to build a business, don't need the large overhead of renting their own building, only in the area temporarily, or just looking for a delightful spot to host an event--Anchorspace provides. The two women behind it are passionate, flexible, and have excellent ideas to execute. While I was there, a local non-profit was using the facility to teleconference and a local entrepreneur was setting up for an event later in the evening, all without stepping on each other's toes. Personally I will be returning to Bar Harbor to work in the space because I will be able to come and go as I please, have my own little corner to set up my laptop and work out of, and am in a great location to get to other parts of town on foot, cycling, or driving. Parking was super easy as well! The facilities are really beautiful, well maintained, and give the impression of both professionalism and fun, (which is pretty hard to do!) I really enjoy the space and everything that Nicole has put into it. read more

This is one dynamite space with great energy, great accessibility and friendly faces, too! The space is laid out to accommodate your business needs. The staff is friendly and helpful when you need help, but will leave you to work uninterrupted. There is a kitchen and bathroom on the premises. I've rented the conference room several times, and Nicole has coffee ready and hot when my clients get there. Try it, you'll like it! read more

I've been working at Anchorspace for a good portion of July and now August. It is an excellent option for daily, weekly or monthly work spaces while on MDI. The onsite manager (Nicole) couldn't be nicer and is extremely professional and more importantly helpful. Wireless access is solid enough for me to WebEx with colleagues in Europe with zero latency issues. Definitely a comfortable environment for an 8+ hour work day with great business chairs and electric adjustable desks for stand up / sit down positions. Highly recommend... read more
