I believed that meant I would have a legal team that would communicate with me, prepare my case thoroughly, and fight for my best interests. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I was stopped at a red light when my vehicle was rear-ended by a sheriff's deputy. Before the accident, I was healthy, active, and worked out 5-6 days a week. As a result of the crash, I required approximately six months of medical treatment and was diagnosed with bulging and herniated discs in my back. From the very beginning, I felt like my case was not given the attention or preparation it deserved. Communication was one of the biggest problems. I was rarely kept informed about what was happening with my case and often felt completely out of the loop. Most of the time, I had to reach out just to get basic updates. One of my biggest frustrations involved the evidence. I specifically asked about the deputy's dash camera footage and body camera footage, but those recordings were never provided to me or discussed in any meaningful way. I was left wondering whether all of the available evidence had been fully pursued. Throughout the entire process, I never felt like anyone was truly fighting for me or advocating for my best interests. I expected my legal team to be prepared, proactive, and willing to build the strongest case possible, but I did not feel that happened in my case. This accident changed my life. Going from working out 5-6 days a week to dealing with months of medical treatment and lasting back injuries was not something I ever expected. I wanted an attorney who would recognize the seriousness of what I was going through and aggressively represent me. Instead, I felt like I was just another case file. The reason I hired Morgan & Morgan was because I believed their "For the People" message. Based on my personal experience, I never felt heard, never felt like I was a priority, and never felt like the representation matched the expectations created by that slogan.
