I'm a sucker for all of the bold, vibrant colors. I ended up finding two blouses and tried on a dress that just didn't quite work out. But it was gorgeous! I was happy to see they had a decent selection of items that are 100% cotton or linen. Some items are much more pricey than others, but for the most part everything is reasonably priced. The staff was sweet too. They helped me find the right fit on for one of the blouses and were helping everyone in store with outfit ideas. I can't wait to go back and see what else I may find. The associates were friendly, and the store isjust beautiful. They told me they have another location in Tuscaloosa. The items are quite higher end with a few pieces I picked up being priced in the $200-300 range, just as a head's up. I always like to know price ranges before coming into a store. I can see women in high corporate positions wearing to work or attending an important meeting. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the store owner's large black pug named Mr. Pickles. One of the cutest dogs I've ever seen! It was hard for me to focus on shopping after playing with him. The store owner even told me that little boys come to her store after school just to see Mr. Pickles. I was able to talk with the manager (or maybe owner) and she told me they work with 400 cooperatives in 59 countries across the world. The first time I went, I didn't buy anything because there were so many different things and I wanted more time to really look at everything. There were household goods, instruments, shoes, blankets, jewelry, art, and so much more. Prices range from low to high, but all are fairly priced to help promote economic development in the countries that send the goods. The second time I went, I took my husband with me. He settled on a Gourd Shaker made in Peru and I purchased earrings made in Kenya. While we were there, we saw a djembe that we will probably go back and get. I highly suggest you stop by. You'll probably find several things you like! Oh, this place is great for finding unique gifts. I'll be a repeat customer.

Anyway, I was looking for a cool Valentine's Day gift (plain old roses and chocolate covered off-season strawberries just don't cut it for me), so I checked this place out. I found a great gift for my lady, as well as a pair of silver earrings for my mother for Mother's Day so that shopping is done :) ! I will need to remember to come back next time I need to find a unique gift and I don't know what to get.

Do yourself and your community a favor - donate any leftover building materials you have after a remodel or addition or head to Restore after a Pinterest binge has you itching to build your own headboard out of doors, fence posts, or old lightbulbs (hey, I don't judge!). There were 3 and we were only customer beside one other person. There is no excuse to treat customers in such a way as we totally felt unwanted it that store!! They got their wish!! One even walked by us in this tiny place and didn't speak, nothing.
