Divers all know the tough part of diving is lugging their gear and tanks. Especially for days with…read moremultiple dives. The boat gets back to the dock and you rush to the dive shop to get refills for the next day or pick up tanks you already left the previous day. What if you didn't need to do that, that you showed up and your tanks were already filled, already loaded on the boat, along with your other gear? Sounds like a dream? Its a Reality!! Instigator Dive charters! We dove with them for three weeks. Every night they took the tanks and had them filled, checked, and loaded back on to the boat. Gear like BCs, Dive crates, Wet suits could remain on board as well. Everything was hosed down and ready for the next day when we arrived onto the boat in the early hours of the day. The team is deep, not just 2 or 3 people. We dove with at least three teams to support us, assist with gear, etc. Cindy and Ryan talked with the divers, understood their ability, their interest in the dive, and their Dive Plan for the day. Cold Water was provided, the team made sure you stayed hydrated. Instigator really provided a dive experience above any other I have had to date. Thank you Instigator Dive Team!!

There were 6 of us aged 22 to 80+ and we could not have been more pleased with our time on the boat with Captain Ashley. There wasn't a cloud in the sky, the dolphins were kind enough to jump around in the ocean while we watched, birds swooped here and there, and we stopped on an island for a little beach/sand time before heading back to the marina. Pictured here is my mom who has probably never been on a boat smaller than a cruise liner who had the time of her life. Hopefully we'll get her back out when cozy beanies aren't required and she can frolic on an island and swim in the ocean with her grandkids and great grandkids. Thank you, Drifter. We'll be back!

Their online booking system is fairly easy. You jut choose your preferred time slot and pay when you arrive at the stables. Payment is taken in the form of cash, Venmo or PayPal. I got to ride a gorgeous horse named Beauty. I loved learning about the horses and their personalities along the ride. Beauty particularly was a very hungry horse who went straight for any bamboo-looking leaves. She was a little clumsy and tripped a couple of times but I still loved her. She had a weird habit of nipping other horses in the butt and I couldn't stop laughing during her attempts. After a while of riding, you get the option of riding your horse in the water. Your feet will get wet as the water is deep. We tried to ride in the waters but our horses refused to go in as it was a very cold winter day. I didn't want Beauty to be cold so we eventually opted out in going in the waters. Although we paid in full to ride three hours, our horse riding trip ended 40 minutes short. I wished we were refunded for the 40 minutes that was lost as a courtesy but we weren't so be mindful of that! At the end, our nice tour guide Shelly offered to take pictures of us on the horses. Overall, very fun experience. I also heard Cotton Top Rentals offer horse rides in the beach during the summer time so be sure to check them out!

There were numerous problems, such as no WIFI. I spoke with the Cannon - Gruber rep. and she told me that  somethings couldn't be fix because it was the weekend. She also told me the best that she could do, to fix the WIFI, was to give me the instructions. She said that she would email the instructions. Which she never did. Why should I have to fix their WIFI? The only thing that she tried to fix was the missing blind slats in the master. For us, this was a one time shot weekend and the rental didn't even come close to what we expected.

I have been coming to Sands Villa for about 30 years and have owned several timeshares. We…read morecurrently own three weeks. There were times a just a few years ago that we were very unhappy with management and the board. Timeshares were not a priority at all to them. Over the past several years a lot of great changes have been made and I am back a very happy owner and would not consider selling my units. We have a new board and a new president that takes this property and timeshares serious again, even better than it was many years ago. They have hired a new management company with a really good property manager (Matt Bruner) that is on top of the issues that come up. With the property being about 30+ years old, there are a lot of issues, but Matt stays on top of them. We use to have some security issues, but since they added secure gates along with on-site security, that problem is almost non-existent. The board has made some great changes to get the timeshares in much better shape along with getting them financially stable. We are not completely there yet, but we are really getting close. They have a great plan and are aggressively implementing it. Thank you Greg, Matt, and the rest of the board and volunteers.
