I wish I could say that my experience with Ms. Roven was positive. My initial consultation went well and I was optimistic about working with her. However, after the consultation I sent her follow-up questions and none of them were answered. She did respond, however her response had nothing to do with my questions.... it wasn't even PART of any of my questions. It's almost as if she read one line- that was not a question at all, just backup information- and dismissed the entire rest of the email. I responded and reiterated my questions, and never heard from her or her paralegal/assistant (Mr. Kacz) again. I'm very disappointed, and suppose that the poor quality I experienced may be because I retained her through US Legal services and not outright. After you pay her the retainer fees there are delays, lack of communication and you will notice that the process is delayed. I would give her a zero star if I could. I do not know how she has so many good reviews. Since the beginning she was very abrupt, not legible when communicating, worried about stupid things like the cost of mailing a letter. She communicated mostly by text and her replies were those of a junior high school kid. If you are paying her out of pocket. Maybe you might get better service. But fair warning.
