I found Janice through MetLife Group legal. In the beginning of the process her assistant was very professional. After drafting the pre-nup, Janice ignored my questions over a week. We were coming up on our wedding and needed it to be finalized. She told me she would call at a certain time on multiple occasions and never called. When I finally managed to get her on the phone, she was knowledgeable and helpful but said "we have time." She forgot my wedding was less than 2 weeks away. Her drafting was sloppy, in the final version she left placeholders and highlights. She even left the last name of an old client in the document and interchangeably used he/her. I wish I could say that my experience with Ms. Roven was positive. My initial consultation went well and I was optimistic about working with her. However, after the consultation I sent her follow-up questions and none of them were answered. She did respond, however her response had nothing to do with my questions.... it wasn't even PART of any of my questions. It's almost as if she read one line- that was not a question at all, just backup information- and dismissed the entire rest of the email. I responded and reiterated my questions, and never heard from her or her paralegal/assistant (Mr. Kacz) again. I'm very disappointed, and suppose that the poor quality I experienced may be because I retained her through US Legal services and not outright. I would give her a zero star if I could. I do not know how she has so many good reviews. Since the beginning she was very abrupt, not legible when communicating, worried about stupid things like the cost of mailing a letter. She communicated mostly by text and her replies were those of a junior high school kid. If you are paying her out of pocket. Maybe you might get better service. But fair warning.
