My daughter had a bad ingrown toenail and this was the only office we could get into the very next day. We did have to wait in the room for a while for the doctor, but we were just thankful they squeezed us in so she could get relief. Dr. Anderson was friendly and knowledgeable and the assistant was also. They were patient and helpful for my daughters and my other 2 kids that had to come with us. The follow up appointment was a little disappointing though. The assistant just took the bandaid off, looked at it and said it looks fine but I needed to clean out some scabbing. I told her I tried to but couldn't because I wasn't sure what needed to come out and what didn't. Instead of offering to show me or do it, she just dismissed us and left the room. If it wasn't for that experience, I'd give 5 stars instead of 4. read more

I do not recommend this place for sports injuries. I have a history of stress fractures (4 in the past 4 years) & was hopeful that the nagging pain in my foot was not a bone injury when I visited Dr Anderson. He assured me that the region I was feeling pain could not possibly be a stress fracture & did not order an MRI. Instead, he suggested that we do a little trial and error with steroid injections to try to figure out the exact source of pain and cause. After 2 appointments getting my foot pumped full of steroids, the pain had not really gone away, and I asked my primary care physician for an MRI referral. The image showed a stress fracture at the base of the 4th metatarsal. Unfortunately (and unknown to me at the time), fracture healing is SLOWED by steroid injections. So, it is now three months later, and my broken metatarsal is still broken with about the same amount of pain, and I am unable to return to weight-bearing athletics - probably due to the fact that I let Dr Anderson inject me with steroids, which hindered my body's ability to heal. In retrospect, I am very angry. If you are a foot doctor & a patient walks in the door saying: "I'm a marathon runner & this is probably a stress fracture. I'm unusually prone to fractures, and I have had four in the past 4 years," then you should listen to your patient and at least order an image to rule out the most likely cause of pain before experimenting in ways that could do lasting damage. read more

my failed hammer toe surgery has left me with constant pain.the toe operated on was misaligned about 90 degree and k uckle od adjacent toe is about 50 percent misaligned. My 5th metatarsal broke about 6 months the after surgery the doctor indicated it was most probably a result of the failed foot surgery .I wish I had read all the reviews before I went there.These are problems that cannot be remedied. read more

Had surgery for neuropathy. After surgery he completely forgot to stitch one of my incision. There was a lot of bleeding. Called him and he told my husband what to buy to help until the next visit. Then when he looked at it he accused me of doing something to cause the incision for it to be like it was. Surgery did not work. I am a D1 tennis player, playing tennis since I was 10. Fortunately, I have never had an injury that lasted for more than two weeks before this past year. While practicing the day after winning a tournament, I noticed that my left ankle hurt severely. I thought that I had just twisted my ankle or something like that, but from the span of March 2022 to December 2022, my left leg worsened each day, no matter if I rested it. My left leg would go completely numb, I had knee pain, and I could not move my foot. The worst part was that touching my leg caused excruciating pain . When I would try to play tennis, it was almost impossible because my left leg would drag behind me, and I could not move or strike the ball like I usually could. We went to many doctors, foot specialists, neurologists, and did numerous MRI testing and an EMG test. Every test showed typical damage from being an athlete, but nothing that would cause my severe symptoms. I tried physical therapy, medication, etc. but nothing helped. Doctors could not figure out why I had these symptoms. My family and I concluded that I had drop foot and peroneal nerve compression, with no specific surgery or injury causing it. It was highly frustrating to have other doctors tell us to have more and more MRI's. Unfortunately, I thought my tennis career was over. That was when my mother researched and found Dr. Anderson online. He happened to be practicing an hour away from my school. He and the staff were extremely kind and understanding. He was the only doctor who validated me, and diagnosed me with foot drop. I already knew that he specialized in peroneal nerve decompression surgery, so was happy that he could immediately help me.Three weeks after the surgery, my nerve damage is gone. I am a former patient. I had tarsal tunnel release surgery. I currently show NO signs of improvement after the surgery. I thought I had found the answer to my foot pain after my first visits to the Broomfield office: trained by Delon at Johns Hopkins, fixing other surgeons mistakes, opening up 5 nerve tunnels, years of success. Didn't happen for me. So what gives? There is an odd process at work in the clinics ... to have the patient under go a laser treatment (not covered by insurance) and some of the testing is not covered by insurance either. Reminded me of a chiropractor pressuring you to sign up for series of treatments. I'm suspicious of treatments that are not covered by a medical plan. Something else-don't fall for them urging you to schedule surgery because " the spots are going fast and you might not get in!". The urgency is that the surgical center is owned by Dr. Anderson and the staff and surgery center needs patients. But this review does not reflect how much I like these people. My complaint is with results. The individuals are all top notch. All the people are very good to work with. Dr A. Is very easy to talk with and is someone I recommend you talk with if you have peripheral neuropathy. It's been more than a year since my nerve decompression surgery with Anderson Podiatry Center, and all I have to show for it is a nasty-looking ankle scar. Following in my father's footsteps, I've had peripheral neuropathy in one of my feet for a few years. Dr. Anderson made a convincing pitch for nerve decompression, as well as an unexpected diagnosis of plantar fasciitis and signing me up for accelerated post-surgery healing via laser treatment. After my surgery, I was prescribed a pain medication that makes me agitated. I feel like climbing the walls when I take it. It's an unusual reaction and it was on all my paperwork, but there it was on my prescription when they rolled me out of the surgery center. Luckily, my wife flagged it after the surgery. I was in a daze from the general anesthetic and I probably would have taken it. You have to wonder why you bother filling out forms, to say nothing of what might have happened if I'd had a life-threatening allergy. We had to scramble to get a replacement pain medication in the hours after my surgery -- and that was a painful night! I passed it off as an oversight, but it was a sign of things to come: The surgery didn't work. To his credit, Dr. Anderson made it clear to me that the surgery is not always successful. But when he told me a few months after my surgery that my continued pain might be solved through orthotics, I began to wonder when the pain and spending would ever end. (Orthotics? That's for skeletal alignment ... I thought my problem was nerve compression. What the $#@*!?) At this point I stopped seeing Dr. Anderson. Today, 13 months after my surgery, although the level of sensation in my foot has improved, the pain level is unchanged, if not worse. In addition, there's a tightness in my ankle that greets me every morning and stays with me every day, despite yoga, stretches and exercise. I had such high hopes for this treatment, following a Fort Collins Recreator information session and a lot of research. It sounded good to me, and I was looking forward to recommending it to a friend and to my father. As I'm typing this right now, with my left foot on a heating pad that I had hoped to retire a year ago, I have to say that I would never recommend nerve decompression surgery, nor any surgery or treatment, conducted by Dr. Anderson or by Anderson Podiatry. read more

In sum, I went to Anderson Podiatry on 144th in Broomfield. They quoted me $68 for orthotics. It seemed very reasonable. I even asked three times, is that correct? They told me they verified it with my insurance. I since received a bill for $871. My final bill threatened collections. Please BEWARE. To me, it seemed like a deceptive bait and switch. I went to Dr. Trilby Reeve at the Fort Collins location a few weeks ago. I fell down the stairs and when I looked down my little toe was sticking straight out to the side! The center worked me right in and Dr. Reeve was awesome! Obviously my toe was badly broken, and after x-rays, she set it, wrapped it and put me in a boot for a couple of weeks. They didn't disregard my injury as a small one, and made sure I had two follow ups. The staff and nurses were super friendly as well. I would recommend them highly - especially Dr. Reeve! She was kind, thorough and great all around. read more

I have had a plantar wart for a while now. I have been in pain while walking as well as my foot bleeding. I was recommended to Anderson Podiatry by an urgent care center. I finally felt like I was gonna be normal again and be able to walk without pain. The first day I went in they saw me for about 15 minutes tops, ended up putting salicylic acid on my foot and calling it a day. Never tried to scrape it. My bill for that visit was $250, which I had to pay then and there. They said I would have to come 2-3 more times to get the full treatment, and each of those times would be around $150 each. I don't recommend this podiatrist, it seems like they're trying to get as much money out of their patients rather than treating the problem in a timely manner. read more

Went to Anderson Podiatry Center for simple orthotics which costed about $600. I was told that the followup visit for the orthotics fitting was $10, which I paid. I then received a surprised bill for $100 for the "followup" visit. They had made me think that the followup was part of my orthotics purchase and fitting. If I had known that I was going to get charged at such a ridiculous rate for an unnecessary "followup" visit, I would have not come back. Their charges are done after the visit without your knowledge. Make sure you ask what you are being charged for in writing. read more

If you go here, go see Dr. Overman. Dr. Anderson will bully you into buying expensive treatment packages that have nothing to do with the issue you went in for. Come in for an ingrown toenail and spend 3 hours arguing with him that you don't have neuropathy. He also talks down to you like you're not as smart as him. He keeps you in the rooms for more than 4 hours and will make his assistants try to force you to buy his crappy stem cells. They are bottom of the barrel stem cells. I'm in the medical field and very versed in regenerative medicine and it's appalling what he's injecting and the prices he charges. Dr. Overman will fix the problem. I saw Dr. Anderson for a neuropathy consult in Nov '21. The carpets were filthy and Dr. Anderson's mask had clearly not been changed in a long time. I was educated about the main 2 treatment path, non-surgical out-of-pocket and surgical, to be billed to insurance. I did not agree to any treatment path but Dr. Anderson wanted to do a biopsy on the very first visit. I was hurried into a 2nd room that was cluttered and also dirty and against my better judgement, consented to the biopsy. In the moment, I didn't feel like I had the option to decline but that is on me for not speaking up. I couldn't get out of there fast enough and told Dr. Anderson I did not want to move forward with any treatment option based on this experience. At this point I thought I would just cut my losses and move on, not wanting to make waves. One month later I received a pathology bill for $1176. $1800 was billed to my insurance and the rest I was liable for. I spoke with Dr Anderson about this asking how he could order such an expensive test without notifying the patient, even just generally, how much it could cost. His response was that he appreciated the feedback, they did not used to do the test, and he would have his billing manager get in touch with me when she returned from vacation. I emailed them and called 3x over the last 2 wks, briefly speaking with someone who assured me I would get a call back. I waited another week and still nothing. So now I am out over a thousand dollars for just walking into the office for a consult and all I have to show is 2 ankle scars and medically unnecessary test results. My only silver lining is I didn't get an infection. read more

I was suffering from the all too common plantar fasciitis in both feet. After my initial visit, which I was diagnosed and injected with cortisone in both feet, I felt a bit shaky. At my second visit my husband came with me and was in the exam room when I told the Dr that the last time I got cortisone injections I felt shaky afterwards. I wondered if that could have anything to do with my CFS and he said he didn't think so. He examined my feet and determined that I would need to have injections again. They were very painful so I wasn't looking forward to them. The Dr left the room, I sat on the table talking to my husband when the Dr rushed in, grabbed my foot and started the injection! I was in no way prepared for this, I was twisting and contorting and yelling at him how much it hurt, my husband is trying to comfort me, just as surprised as I was at what was happening. The Dr told me to relax and breath it would make things better. I was horrified by what was happening, relax my butt. He's lucky I didn't file a report on him with the medical review board. He said by doing it this way I didn't have time to be afraid. I have PTSD and he just opened a can of worms. I had a podiatrist in Colorado Springs so I called his office and made an appointment. When they gave me an injection they gave me a numbing shot, it made all the difference in the world. Night and day difference. You know it's bad when we would rather drive to the Springs than go back to this office! Dr. Overman and Dr. Anderson were both involved with my care and I wouldn't recommend either one of them. read more

I am recent former employee. I was very excited in starting a new job. I started on a Monday and the on-boarding information I needed to complete on the computer was loaded incorrectly and had nothing to do with front office and receptionist duties. Once this was fixed I was sent home to complete the video tutorials. Later that day, one week from being hired, I got a text saying they were slow and not to come in on Tuesday, but to go in at 10am on Wednesday. I called the office and right then, I was told because of budget cuts they had to let me go. I would think a practice would know these financial issues before hiring a candidate. Second day on the job I threw up, and it wasn't nerves. I have been doing this kind of work for 20+ years. Applicants be aware responding to any ads where the name of the company is listed as confidential. I don't understand that, unless they have something to hide? I went out and bought black scrub tops, because I noticed that is what all of the staff was wearing. Spent my own money - didn't get a uniform allowance. The outcome of this is that i requested to be reimbursed for those items, seen as though I was there barely a week. In this climate today where everyone is competing for jobs you just don't hire someone then let them go One week later. Barely had any scheduling training - it seemed that everyone was too busy to sit with me and go over some scheduling points, etc. I just got bits and pieces. Employee Beware. read more

I read some of the reviews and my experience was one hundred percent opposite from those who gave Dr. Anderson a low rating. Some of the comments I read were appalling and just way out there. I felt far from being bullied or coaxed into unnecessary treatments. Dr. Anderson was abundantly clear about the procedure, what to expect, and was realistic about expectations. He didn't oversell it and took more time than any other doctor I have visited to explain things to me. Not once did I feel like he had some other place to go or other patients to see, unlike most doctors I have seen in the past. He even called me on the day after the surgery to follow up with me. I felt his bedside manners were superb. I flew from Louisville to have nerve decompression surgery done in order to relieve symptoms of RLS. and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. The office staff was kind, patient, welcoming, and reassuring. I realize that when things come to medicine, what works for one may not work for all. If you suffer from RLS and are desperate for relief, you owe to yourself to reach out to Dr. Anderson and talk to him yourself. I was a little skeptical myself until I spoke to him directly and that's when I knew I would take time off work to have this procedure done and I am glad that I did. read more

I suffered with achilles tendinitis in both ankles for a couple of years. I did extensive PT, icing, etc to know avail. I was desperate and made an appointment. The doctor walked in and told me I was in luck because he was recovering from the same problem. He explained the latest science for treatment and recommended stem cell injection. If I could give zero stars I would! This has been the most frustrating and disappointing experience I have had with a doctor's office in a very long time. My son was diagnosed with a toenail fungus. We were prescribed Jublia, which we filled and thought all was good, until I looked into our Health Reimbursement Account to discover that we were charged $572 dollars. That small, 4ml bottle, for $572, lasted one month, and we were told by the doctor that we would need to use it for about a year (so almost $7,000 just for the Jublia for a year). So, the current situation is that I have gone around and around with our insurance and pharmacies, only to find that Jublia is not covered and we will basically need to pay out of pocket until we reach our out-of-pocket max. I've called 3 times, left 3 voice messages in the last 24 hours to Anderson Podiatry requesting an alternate medication, and I've only received one reply back that they did prescribe Jublia, and that medication combined with laser treatment (another treatment NOT covered by insurance) "should" clear up the infection eventually. Nowhere did they address or respond to my request for a different treatment that was significantly cheaper. As of now, they are not respecting me as a paying customer and seem to only be interested in prescribing a treatment that will cost me in excess of $7,500 of MY money (Jublia plus 3 laser treatments), not including the out-of-pocket cost of the office visits we've already had. read more

I had pain between the third and forth toe on my right foot. After putting up with it for maybe a year and a half, and thinking I was needing larger shoes/boots, I went to see Dr. Anderson since my husband had such success visiting this office. Dr. Anderson immediately found the exact point of pain and diagnosed it immediately. I was amazed as I found it hard to believe the pain could be pin pointed and have a name! I guess it's more common than not. I had a neuroma. After an ultrasound (yes, on my foot!) and X-rays, it was confirmed I had a neuroma. First step was orthotics which helped tremendously. However did not cure the problem. A simple surgery of snipping the ligament completely solved the problem. Now I am walking and on my feet all day and no more pain. I didn't think such a small problem could be such a big pain! I recommend visiting this office as it seems all the doctors are very good. I am biased to Dr. Anderson as he quickly diagnosed my problem and quickly fixed it. Now I have a couple larger pairs of shoes I will be donating to my daughter and back to my normal size of shoe and I don't need the orthotics anymore. Don't put it off! Go get your pain diagnosed! I had an overall negative experience with Anderson Podiatry. I found the staff disorganized and unprofessional. The treatments I received also did not alleviate my plantar fasciitis (I got the stem cell injection and laser package). During a laser treatment, the employee administering the treatment forgot that I was in the treatment room. After waiting about 20 minutes, I left the room and found the employee sitting in front of her computer. Another time I had an appointment with Dr. Overman to show me how to wrap my foot. I waited over an hour to see him and was then told that he was not there that day. After setting up a billing plan, I received a bill that did not follow the plan and did not make sense. When I called to talk to the billing person, she did not understand how I should be billed, and I had to walk her through my bill step by step and explain how she should do it. I would recommend that you not go to this practice. read more

I've got to give five stars after considering every factor so far. I, too, found the room cold. But I also found Dr Anderson to be a warm, caring doctor after going to a several visits now. And the staff has been so friendly to me. Dr Murdock is a very sharp guy as well and I feel comfortable in his care as well. They make a great team. See, I've been to tons of doctors, many for the feet, and I've gotten so much of the same treatment plans that were either meds, physical therapy, or to see specialists. Hell they've even suggested a psychiatrist, as though I've actually decided to visits tons of doctors over five years and stress my family and myself beyond belief because they suspect I'm mental. But the truth is that they don't know what my everyday life is like, they also don't know what to say/do, and they're intimidated by the large medical record I have. But I insist to them that most of that medical "help" hasn't helped much if at all...something is still very wrong. I should not be living with pain in my legs and feet that's burning, tingling, numb-like sensations constantly that get worse with any activity. After being tested for everything you can imagine, still, in the same immense unrelenting pain. I just try to stay positive and occasionally use edible greenery medicine to curb the pain some. But nothing really truly helps it go away. And see, Dr Anderson knows everything they know in the podiatry field, PLUS he's at the forefront of the field with this tunnel decompression, as well as a few noninvasive treatments that hardly any other doctors offer. From my understanding, he was in the field for decades and saw many people still suffering after seeing many doctors, like happened to me, and he decided to seek better treatment to actually heal people, so he sought more knowledge and dug around to find and learn the Dellon approach which is very well-renowned (google Dellon institute). I even contacted Dr Dellon to see if he would see me (I also have spine, hip, and elbows pain that's similar to legs but not exactly the same, and Dr Anderson does legs/feet. I thought I needed someone who did them all) and Dr Dellon told me to see Dr Anderson. So the originator of this innovative, highly praised method who's world renowned for this and educates doctors around the world (which Dr Anderson does, too) gives his personal approval for Dr Anderson who studied his method. Dr Anderson is trying to help people, and as many as he can, so that's a possible reason one might've waited on him to enter the room. I've never been there more than one hour though. He also attends and runs conferences regularly to keep his knowledge up-to-date. Once he started educating me on this stuff at my visits, I was actually teaching my old podiatrists things they didn't even know about tunnel compression. That's when it really hit me that I'm going to allow Dr Anderson to care for my pain instead of any other type of (foot/pain) doctor. I'm not saying it's going to work for everybody, but he'll listen to your story and give you his honest interpretation. I've been researching and reading about so much to do with feet injuries and nerve issues, and everything he says ends up being true. I'll be getting surgery in a couple weeks but already I've received preliminary investigative injections (that block/mask pain for a week or two) that show if you're likely to be aided by tunnel decompression surgery. Leg/feet compression is just like carpal tunnel syndrome. It's very logical once you start reading about it, and you end up wondering why it's not one of the first things they look for in many people. See from my experience and research, an EMG isn't always reliable, and people can suffer from "neuropathy" or nerve pain and it won't show on the EMG. But their pain is real regardless of what some non-objective test shows that doesn't truly measure "pain". Many more people have this problem than they or their doctors realize. In my opinion, if suddenly everyone started treating their patient's chronic pain, feet problems, leg burning/numbness by Dr Anderson's methods much sooner in their treatment, they'd get answers/better sooner and wouldn't have to go through a carousel of different types of doctors nor treatment plans that insult the problem or just don't help..the ones that keep the "machine" going and our money pouring into insurance and the healthcare industry. It's still basically Big Pharm not seeking cures over symptom treatment. Again, that's my researched/experienced opinion. If you're a tad resourceful you can find a coupon for a free consultation quite easily. Please go talk with him if you've had any leg/feet pain, burning, tingling, numbness that's new, old, sporadic or consistent. He's very likely got answers and has the most current treatments you hardly find anywhere else, especially all at one place. They even help with toenail fungus and more. I came to Anderson Podiatry with a concern about some foot pain that was getting in the way of my day to day comfort and activity level. I am a runner and the pain was getting in the way of doing what I love. I had gone to another doctor and was overall not very pleased with how I was treated at the clinic. I went to see Dr. Anderson for a second opinion - he was very helpful in diagnosing me with plantar faciitis and put me into some custom orthotics. Alongside with some rest and patience, I was able to run again free of pain and was pleasantly surprised by how much it helped my back pain as well. Incredibly disappointing experience on multiple levels. I was kept waiting 90 minutes for my first appointment, I tolerated this as I respect that health care providers sometimes have situations which may put them behind. However, the technician was incompetent and the office wasn't stocked with the meds needed to complete the treatment properly. The office staff promised to contact me when the meds were back in stock but never did. I was told the meds were a necessary adjunct to treatment. Went back for a second appointment 3 months later and this technician was much better. He has since left the practice. Wrote to Dr. Anderson's office with a grievance, twice, but they didn't have the curtesy to respond to my letter with any kind of communication. This lead me to go for a second opinion to another podiatrist in town. Dr. Schulte was incredibly professional, more accurate with his diagnosis and his assistants were skilled and thorough. I have never written a negative review online before. I write this one in the hopes that someone else looking for a podiatrist will go to Dr. Schulte's office first, where you will be treated more professionally and receive the very best care and ethical practice. read more

I saw Dr. Overman for a few visits. He was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I would recommend him with no hesitation.

I went to PVFA in 2010 and was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. After months and months of treatments and being fitted with custom orthotics at a cost of $450 (which were too painful to wear), there was no relief for this painful ailment. The doctor I was being treated by recommended surgery to loosen the fascia so in January of 2012 I had the surgery. I was hopeful the surgery would relieve the pain but after 3 months of follow up, there was no difference. The surgery was not successful. The pain level was exactly the same as before the surgery. The only difference is that I have two small scars on each side of my feet to remind me that I did not benefit from the surgery and the cost.
