Facility is clean. Staff is nice. A lot of space for scanning and shopping. Well lit. No obstacles in the walk space.

What a fun store and the staff is super nice. Very organized and easy to move through. My daughter was able to find a book she had been looking for. They also sell teas, candies and even some jewelry.

So I came here for a book signing of international best selling author Tigist Garma. I was able to grab a parking spot right in front of the store, which was perfect.. there also was a parking lot a couple stores down from it as well. Everything was well organized and I bought my ticket online and was actually assigned a number so that made the signing go very smooth when I came in when I arrived we were able to check in and we got our books and it was open seating.. we also have the ability to browse around the store and purchase other things that we would like. They have a really good variety of books here and I just love supporting local owned bookstores. If I'm ever in the area again, I definitely said I wanna come back here and visit the store and the other shops around it because it's such a cute little strip of places to pop into. I just wanted to do it during the daytime.. The books are priced at market value too.

This is such an awesome bookstore. First of all it has a great selection. There was shelves full of Y/A books and it took me so long just to figure out what I wanted to buy. Contrasting to that I think the value is just okay. Some books had great value for example I bought the second and third book of the inheritance games series for a total of 22 dollars. But then there are also the 200-ish page books that will cost you 15-20$. I also think it had good service. The only time I talked to a staff member was when I was checking out and that's kinda the way I like. That staff member was also very kind and a good conversation starter. I also think this place was very loud for a bookstore of this size. I heard so many people loudly talking without second thought. But that is more of a warning and not a part of the review because the staff can not do much about it.

This store has such a good selection! It's nice to see the interactive books for toddlers so that I can gauge if my child would like them. They have such a good variety too! This store also has a train track for kids to play with.

I've heard so many amazing things about this local bookstore and I had never visited until now. I went for a special edition signed copy release of Fourth Wing/Iron Flame. It was on a first come basis so I got there an hour before they opened on a Sunday. I had no idea what to expect but I saw the line outside the store and ended up waiting with everyone else. The event was organized well and they had the customers flowing through the store seamlessly. They were able to get the shelves stocked as books were being purchased and I was very pleased to have been able to purchase a signed copy of each book. As much as I want to gatekeep this place, it truly is a gem and looking forward to visiting more often in the near future.

    First time here!

Popped into the Anderson Bookstore on Naperville looking for a couple different books. For a local bookstore, they seem to have quite a bit! I wanted to pick up "You Exist Too Much" but they didn't have it. However, "A Woman Is No Man" was my next choice. I also found "Lost Girls" and that's one my "too read" list and was a bit of an impulse buy. I asked the clerk about "You Exist Too Much" and she didn't have it on hand but was willing to order and ship to me. I held off but I am able to order and have it delivered to me online. They have quite the selection and is able to compete with a Barnes and Noble or larger sellers. Prices are the same or comparable and they can get you whatever you want if it's not in stock. I made a special trip here and will do so again. I loved my first time and Anderson's and will be back!

Nice independent bookstore. While the store itself is alright, the events that they host are above and beyond any bookstores I know.

Usually my go to is the clearance section and this is around various parts of the store. So you won't find just one section of clearance or bargain books, look around. I did appreciate the coffee shop (Starbucks) that is located on the side of the store (inside) and loved the fact that I was able to read a book just purchased at the coffee shop and didn't have to worry about being pushed out. With a gift card of $50, I was able to get 7 books on clearance and books that normally would of cost.m over $100. Now that's a deal if you ask me. Books that I wanted and books that I definitely needed! Of course not everyone will like the quiet in the bookstore (kind of reminds me of a library) and this I do like. It's also a good thing that the employees are friendly and knowledgable. Not like at other bookstores, employees seem to not want to help in my experience. But here it's not a problem and I am pleased with my selections.

It's a cute bookstore. It's very clean, and really quite spacious. But I confess, I was pretty…read moresurprised by the dearth of books! I guess that's where the "and more" part comes in (and does a lot of heavy lifting). Of the books on display, they had only a single copy (at least out on the floor). And the books were displayed face out, which makes sense when you're trying to catch the attention of young children many of whom can't read, but then when only half of your shelves hold books it's fairly sparse. They also had some stuff from some local purveyors and gifts and stuff. I got some bath stuff to try with my little one to shake up bath time a bit. They have some stuffed animals and stuff. They have some benches and pillows, spaces for kids to hang out and play; one was a wardrobe that was really nicely arranged as a reading nook which my kiddo really enjoyed. (I wish I had the vision to see something like a wardrobe and find that if I take the doors off and anchor it to a wall, it could be a fun place to cuddle up!) Something that's really cool is that they have a fishtank with a couple of axolotls, which my babe was astonished by. The bookstore seems to have a cool thing where you can arrange to have your kid feed them. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of our visit here was the reason we came. I saw on Instagram that they were having train day, mentioning train books and crafts. My daughter loves trains, so we headed down. I think there were three train books on display. And the "craft" was some half-sheets of paper, crayons, and sheets of stickers that had trains on them. There was another family that had come in at the same time as us and I couldn't help but wonder if they were as let down as I was. I'd been really looking forward to visiting this bookstore--I wanted to about a year ago but hadn't been able to get here. I don't know that I'd come back even if I was nearby, because there are so few books that I don't know I'd want to just stop in to take a look since I'm not sure we'd find anything. Depending upon what's happening I'm not sure what parking is like; there's a good deal of parking down the block near the train station, but otherwise limited street parking.

A very big shoutout to Three Stories Books for making my daughter's birthday celebration extra…read morespecial ! You must go visit this adorable bookstore nestled in the heart of downtown Lemont. All of the fun activities and decor were taken care of and we basically just had to bring the birthday girl ! The whole experience was magical from the wish list shopping to the special activities that were all surrounding the theme. Thank you cos much.
