The staff is friendly, it's not too busy and the seats are comfortable. I recommend this cinema and will be back.

Great little cinema. Not too many screens, but always good for a movie night with friends or the family. Good prices.

Don't miss the free kids movies on both Wednesdays and Thursdays in the summer. Staff couldn't be nicer and the theater is clean!

Overall this is a great local theater with decent prices, and some great deals if you can attend movies mid week.

Add in a slushie, popcorn, and a fountain drink and that's another $27. That's over $85 for a basic night at the movies for two. That's just wild. Compare that to Mann Theatre in Champlin or Andover Cinema, where tickets and concessions are way more affordable. Both those spots have decent food, actual specialty drinks, and don't charge you like it's a stadium event. AMC Coon Rapids is clean, has recliners, and it's not a bad setup. It's just not that special, especially when the price tag makes it feel like I should've been at a premium experience. Bottom line: not worth the money, especially when better, cheaper options are just a few miles away. I won't be back.

I can't remember the last time I stepped foot in AMC and this was my first time at the Coon Rapids one. My friend and I wanted to see Moana 2 and she took the initiative to purchase tickets so we went here for the reclined seats (even though everyone has them now...). Anywho, it wasn't a terrible experience. She chose seats for us to buy tickets in advance and they were nice and the theater wasn't busy. Plenty of parking and everything was clean. Bathrooms are nice. Seats themselves were comfortable, no complaints. They have some vegan options for food too but I always just get popcorn and it was OK. Staff were friendly and efficient, gave me a lil water cup to go with my popcorn no problem. I arrived before my friend and didn't have to show my tickets to anyone, just walked right in to use the restroom and no one batted an eye. She had to hunt someone down just to show our tickets to put her mind at ease. We'll probably be back but not my first choice, no offense, just not my favorite branch of movie theaters. 3.5/5

After seeing this place on a TikTok once, my boys and I decided to give this place a try! I'm glad…read morewe did! There is a ton of free parking! You can reserve your seat online and buy the tickets. They do have self serve kiosks as well inside the door. The "wow" factor of the lobby is so fun!! My kids absolutely loved how this place is set up!! They also had a bunch of old movie posters lining the walls! A blast from the past! We didn't play any games, but they had what seemed to be a very well maintained arcade with a prize counter! These guys also do birthday parties! The concessions were just ok for me. The popcorn was cold. The popcorn itself really didn't have much flavor. There is an option to salt your own but the concession stand does the butter for you. I wouldn't get their popcorn again. I will say, the staff was very friendly though! The movie theater had reclining chairs in the first 2 rows... I wish they had it throughout the whole theater. Instead the chairs did rock a little bit but no foot rest. It really didn't bother us that much but recliner chairs are nice! For my heavier set friends, you would feel pretty uncomfortable, as these are slimmer seats. The recliners at the front did look wider though! Overall, we really did enjoy this theater and would be back! This would be a great place to bring the family!

My wife and I have been supporting this theatre for many years. We have purchased their popcorn…read morebucket on Black Friday for years. We wanted to see a movie on Valentine's day and we brought our bucket to get popcorn. I pretty sure it was the owner told us "That's last year's bucket", so we ended up grabbing the wrong one...our fault. Then she goes on to tell us we needed to leave our bucket behind their counter and we'd have to pick it up after the movie. She said we couldn't bring our EMPTY bucket in the theatre. I told her I'd just take it back out to the car. Not sure why an empty bucket is a big deal, terrible customer service. So we ended up skipping the popcorn, the drink, the candy and the food that we were going to purchase, so they lost a lot of profit, not a intelligent decision as she said this in front of other customers. If that would have been my business, I would have thought, well they bought one last year and I'll take their word that they do indeed have a bucket this year too. I would have said, you know what, I'll just give it to you this time. It wasn't what she said, it was how she talked to us, very rudely. Our impression of this theatre has totally changed now. We will try the Imagine Theatre in Rogers next time as it's closer and won't be buying their yearly bucket each year. So we received a reply from the owner basically telling us tough luck. That was a terrible way to handle the situation. While it's fine to have a policy, any good business understands mistakes happen. If we had a bucket from last year, odds are we have one for this year, totally unacceptable reply. When evaluating any situation, one needs to ask themselves if their decision is worth losing a customer, we just got our answer and It reaffirms that we misjudged supporting this business. We won't be making that mistake again.

Plymouth Grand 15 is delightfully mid, like a trusted familiar who brings no flair but always shows up with a functioning flashlight and slightly warm soda. The atmosphere hums in muted tones: gray carpets whisper "I used to be vibrant," and the reclining seats perform sacred posture rituals that slow time by 13%. The food is standard-issue concession prophecy--slushy spells, nacho illusions, and the sweet regret of $9.75 chocolate clusters. The staff are kind and efficient, as though trained by stoic monks who believe all cinematic chaos should begin exactly seven minutes late. I respect this place. Not for its glamor, but for its dependable mediocrity. It doesn't try to be Olympus--it's the stable hill beside Olympus, where you can recline, sip a Sprite, and briefly forget your burdens while Vin Diesel makes metaphysical choices about friendship. Three reclining voids out of one mildly haunted cupholder.

Overall the theater is kept nice and clean despite the business, there are great snack options (although they've certainly gotten expensive), and the ambiance just has a fun energy to it. Tickets here are usually a pretty good value, and I'd certainly recommend checking it out!
