He's nothing short of exceptional. Every aspect of the process was smooth. His team made us instantly comfortable. He even coached my bride through some pre-wedding jitters. He worked with us on minutiae like music for our same day edit, (his videography team is off-the-charts! - cinematic style), all the way through details like whose photo he could not miss. He caught every detail at the wedding. In terms of crowd control, my own family's small, but my wife is Indian, so it was a large wedding and he worked it impressively. He even adapted his shooting style (lighting, composition, etc) to our preferences based on conversations he had with us. And then the final delivery was timely, and elicited just about every positive reaction that could be had. So.. safe to say, if you're thinking about Joseph Lin, he's the right choice. He was punctual on my big day and ready to capture all of the special moments. He presented my work to me in a timely manner sooner than my coworkers photographer who married in June. ! Although we had minor disagreements in what was promised Danial made this up by including in my package a large photo calendar with my sons on the front. We loved him right away and decided to move forward asap. Daniel was extremely helpful in providing insights outside of videography related things - he helped suggest other vendors who he trusted and helped plan our timeline and really went the extra mile. When our wedding was rolling around the corner, we met again a few times to finalize the specifics on our film. On the day of the wedding, Daniel was a true BOSS! Although we did not book photography through him, we ultimately wished we did. (I highly suggest doing this for anyone reading this. A seamless partnership where videographers and photographers have experience working together is crucial and 100% will make your special day flow better.) We valued Daniel so much because of his experience - he kept track of timelines as best as possible and knew how to command a crowd, in the most respectful way! After a few months of eager waiting, we finally received both our highlight film and feature film. I'm SO happy we went with both films. We shared the highlight film with many others, but saved the feature film for select family and friends, as it was longer. The film was everything we could've asked for, and more. RUN the other way!!!…read more While the photo's we received were of adequate quality, the photographer we met with was not the person that showed up to shoot our wedding! The person that did show up was rude, intrusive during the ceremony, turned up an hour early, and then charged us an additional fee to stay for the last hour of the contract. We were deceived and treated very poorly. It makes no difference the quality of the work; the attitudes, of the photographer and the person that created our final wedding album, were appalling and it was extraordinarily unpleasant to have to be in the same room with them. Absolutely everyone deserves better! You would be really only slightly worse off to hire your friend to bring their phone to shoot your event. After all of our hard work we came out feeling disappointed & taken advantage of. The best word to describe the experience with our photographer is shameful. We got snobbed by the photographers, me and my side of the family was not even asked to take individual photos or together me and my husband. They were in my bridal room for 2 minutes ,took a few awful pictures of me getting ready. Our wedding video is so bad I could cry every time I think of it. Never watch it, it's too painful and it just makes me angry. We never got a long one just a 5 min snippet. The music is cued so out of context that I am walking down the aisle to party music. We tried to get it fixed 3 times and it's like a blind and deaf person is editing it who was also extremely rude!!! I wish I had just gone to someone else. I could have thrown the money (thousands) out of the window and it would've been better spent.
