Did a search for locksmiths. First one to hit me back was Arman. After a short text back, he said give him 35 or 40 minutes. Well he got here in maybe 25. So were off to a good start already. They didn't dawdle, exchanged a couple of howdies, got right to work. Within 10 minutes, trunk was popped, keys retrieved, crisis averted. This was more than amazing. My ceiling is messed up to this day. The other guy tried to steal me as a customer behind Chance and Haley's back so I let them know. I thought they would want to know an employee was doing that. They sent another painter to fix the bad paint job but my baseboards and window sill never got resolved. The next time they came out to work, they worked so slow that hardly anything got done, and I ended up with another painter getting paint on my ceiling. It was a Friday and I waited until Monday afternoon to hear from Haley and learn when someone was coming to finish the remaining jobs on the list. She never called me. I called her and that was when I learned the guy, Chris, who came on Friday was mentally checked out and did such a poor job because Friday was his last day. He left the company and moved. Three days later another guy,Cody, came out and finished the remaining work all by himself. He was the only good thing to say about this business, but he left all the trash by the curb and said they have a company who would pick it up the next day. However 2.5 days later and trash still set by my curb, including heavy things like an old toilet seat. I tried all day to reach Chance or Haley and they never called me back. TO THIS DAY! I finally text Cody who was able to reach them. I asked him to get me a refund for the trash pick up that I paid for since Chance and Haley were refusing to call. Only then was I told trash would be picked up the next day. When the time came for pick up, the trash people with Waste Green Management tell me that Chance demanded for them to see the receipt before picking it up. So they woke me up on a Saturday to play the games instigated by Chance and Haley. I showed them the receipt and trash was finally hauled off. Those drivers came back to apologize because their dispatch told them thru all this nonsense that they did have payment and that it was Chance who was rudely causing the trouble to MAKE me show a receipt when he already knew I had paid. It was almost like Chance was hoping I didn't have the receipt to have his trash pile picked up. What is worse is to this very day Chance and Haley never replied to me about picking up the trash so my HOA wouldn't fine me. But, I know they did respond to their tech, Cody. Now I am sorry I ever heard of this company. I gave more than one chance to them. It is not my fault they hire shady workers, but it would be my fault if I do business with them again or if I do not warn the public that this is how inappropriate, unprofessional and shady they treat customers. And as a 60 year old with disabilities, they are very disrespectful. I guess hack deals and disrespecting senior citizens is their way of doing business. I am on the lookout because they have never responded to me as the day of writing this, but I am pretty sure they will see this review and try to lie their way out of this one and respond to blast me like they have on other reviews I have seen on Yelp and Google. Their business won't last long but we can all watch for their reply to this because from what I've read in other reviews, Chance and Haley always blame it on the customer or lie about a customer attitude. I can assure you I was always respectful to them all. Even to the lazy painter who slept on the job, or the guy trying to steal me as a customer. Cody expressed several times that he wished all customers were as nice as I was because he had to come back and finish the job that Chris didn't do right before he bailed out of working. So what is Chance and Haley's problem? Was it the trash thing? My warning that their employee was trying to steal customers? Chance demanding to show Waste Green Management the receipt is just abusive behavior because I was not a WGM customer. Chance was! In my opinion, he's a manipulative narcissistic person. Issues with communication and scheduling, and work not being done as promised. During quoting he…read moreemphasized that he would make sure the work was done with quality and would come back as he needed if I was unhappy with something. This promise was not kept. For context we started a job worth about $4000 back in Feb 2024 -- replacement toilets, installing vent hood, fixing a portion of drywall and paint in 3 spots in the ceiling, and changing window balances. It is now a year and half later and I am dissatisfied with everything but the vent hood and it has been so difficult to get Mike to come back and fix things. Toilet replacement - toilet was leaking from the flange somewhere still after the replacement, he would not come back to fix after I asked him 3 times about this issue Paint - we had a portion of the ceiling painted after drywall repairs -- I had a can of paint in my garage from previous homeowner but wasn't sure if it would match. Mike went ahead and did the whole ceiling and it ended up not matching -- he still charged ME when doing the repainting, implying that I took responsibility. Lesson learned -- don't ever try to help a contractor. Overall just a really confusing experience, I should have followed my instincts and pestered about the expectations and cost but I thought we had some rapport for some reason. Changing window balances - This was the most egregious... we needed new window balances on 10 or so windows in my home per Mike's suggestion. I called him and texted him multiple times asking when he would come back to do this... it took him several months and he gave me excuses saying it was hard for him to get the parts, because he wanted to give me quality balances and not the cheap kind. When he came he didn't bring the balances, and he judged that my old balances were fine and they just needed adjusting. He actually left one window without a balance, and never got back to me about the new parts which I wanted left at my place because it was part of the original contract. Also after a few weeks the problem came back and the windows were tough to open again.
