An honest review. Please read Andres started out by quoting my full apartment remodel, he gave a fair price and a good timeline. I made it clear asking him in person on a specific time frame the project would be complete so I can plan my work schedule accordingly, it exceeded drastically, leaving me in a tough situation and losing out of months of rent. Upon demolition, his team broke my main water pipe and then left for the day, leaving us without water for the night. He fixed this the next day or so. During construction I found myself sweeping my driveway almost daily and finding nails and screws, a certain flat tire hazard. The lack of clear communication was very troublesome. Without having my 100% consent, he began to demo a project that I wanted to talk about before. He tore up the baseboards without having confirmed with me. After a long project and many other road bumps along the way, the remodel was finally finished. Upon my tenant moving in, they went to take a shower and the adjacent room flooded with inches of water. Causing potential rot and mold in the future. Andres sent someone and they had pierced the shower pipes with drywall screws. This was fixed. Next the brand new kitchen sink drain was leaking steadily, Andres had it "fixed" by tightening a nut, then a week or so later, it was leaking again. He then promised he would replace the whole drain. Without contacting me when he was coming, he came and put tape on it. It is still leaking. The outside door he installed was also found leaking water from the outside due to improper installation. I have tried to contact Andres, but no answer. (Update, he answered after I posted a bad review, told me to take it town and he will come fix the door. He "fix" the door which a piece which ended up falling off a couple days later) The toiled flange was out on wrong and was warped. It was leaking water and I contacted Andres and asked him to fix. He denied even tho I still have 6+ more months on my 1 year warranty. Everything is brand new in this apartment and now I have to hire someone to come and fix his mistakes. The multiple water leaks in Kitchen, bathroom, and two separate bedrooms will likely cause mold, rot, and extensive damage in the future. I never write reviews because I have never been wronged like this for a large amount of money, so I'll take the time and help others. Hopefully this helps someone when making a choice who to hire for a project. read more

Our remodeled kitchen is the favorite room in our home! Andres and his associates remodeled our antiquated kitchen and replaced the living room/den carpeting with porcelain tile, expanded the entryway from kitchen to den area, installed a sliding door leading to the laundry room, and revamped the ceiling. Very familiar with the construction methods used in our home, Andres had extensive remodeling experience in our neighborhood. He and his men brought superb construction expertise and I never doubted their ability to solve some of the problems presented by our 43 year-old kitchen and living area. I especially appreciate the cabinetry workmanship, the expert execution of the tile work in back of the stove, the willingness to listen, repeatedly, to my concerns and measurement questions, and the skilled craftmanship performed by his team. A year and a half later it's the small things that count for me. No chips in the cabinetry's paint and it's so easy to clean! Andres installed a unique butcher board top on the small island and it still generates positive comments from friends. The ceiling is so well lit that it turns a dreary day into a happy one. Andres' firm is about quality service at a fair price. Look at other remodelers but you'll always have to worry about the caliber of the workers. Not these men! They are trustworthy and I had no qualms about giving them the key to the house while I was at work. I would not hesitate to use Andres again for future remodeling work. read more

In a quick bind, Andrés came to our rescue! We had a leak under our bathroom sink, so I filled out the questionnaire on yelp which was sent out to multiple companies. Andrés was the only one to respond and came over right away. Even though I didn't have an appointment, he was able to accommodate with my schedule and fix the problem that same day. Andrés was very friendly and professional. He explained everything that would need to be done to fix our sink. The quote was easy to understand and he was able to complete the work right away. We have had no issues since the repair and we are very happy with the results. A couple of days later, he reached out to me to see how the leak was. This showed he truly values his customers and has great company ethics. AND THAT IS NOT ALL! He also explained to us that plumbing isn't his only skill up his sleeve. He definitely is a jack-of-all-trade's kind of guy! We were able to set up a couple more appointments with him. He fixed the electrical outlets in the bathrooms and a few outside outlets. He also came another time and fixed the main water line pipe coming into the house. I would highly recommend Andrés Maintenance & Remodeling Services Inc. I am pleased to say that my kitchen couldn't have turned out any better. AMR Services met and exceeded my expectations during the remodeling, and it was a great finished product. They were very receptive to our ideas and questions. The team took notes about the layout I wanted, materials, and palate. One team's associates followed up with us after two days for the layout, samples, and construction schedule. One on occasion, there was a plumbing problem, so the team gave me a clear offer about fixing the plumbing issue. Based on their input, we have permission to replace some of the in-wall plumbing. After the repairs, they showed up precisely what they had done and insulation. They made me feel comfortable throughout the process. Even though this was not cheap labor, the team's explanations, punctuality, and quality materials were all worth it. I am thrilled about what we have now. AMR Services had completed two services for my residence, replaced the outside hose faucets, and installed a new water heater. In both instances, they were very professional, efficient, and completed the work flawlessly. I have a sealed crawlspace; when they finished installing my new water heater, they took the extra effort and used some leftover sealing tape I had on hand to further seal in the bottom of the water heater, which was very impressive and unexpected. AMR Services has always arrived on time for the job with very little wait time from when I needed the service to the scheduled appointment. Andres, his family and crew are great to work with and always respond in a timely manner with any issues or concerns we may have, which are few. They replaced all of my old outside tile, painted the whole interior of my 3000 Sq foot home, built a screened porch, resurfaced the inside of my garage and Andres still had time to help my elderly dad with a few odds and ends "off the clock". They are not the cheapest in town, but their work is a prime example why it is always better to pay a bit more up front than try to fix a bad job later. I know their work will last at least another 20 years (age of the home now). Awesome job and everyone who comes over comments on how great the work turned out. We purchased a condo in Tamp. We wanted to do a complete renovation of the entire unit. The job required moving walls, changing multiple fixtures, repainting all walls and ceilings, installing custom cabinets and woodwork, installing cork floors, refinishing and repairing marble flooring, installing light fixtures and, replacing countertops and a custom bar. We hired AMR Services for the job. Andres and his crew met the challenges calmly. The work was done very professionally and within a reasonable period. We were delighted with the result. There are okay contractors, there are good contractors, but AMRS is a 10. I retained AMR Services for commercial repairs needed for my retail location in downtown Orlando. My partners had a few candidates, but AMRS impressed us because of their portfolio of commercial projects. I called the BBB and he has numerous complaints and he is being investigated at this time. Even suggested a different color for trim for my interior paint, his instincts were correct, love the color he suggested instead of the original color I chose.
