Due to multiple injuries from 3 separate accidents, I have been to many different Chiropractors through the years and Dr. Andresen is definitely one of the best there is. I know how important it is to find a good Chiropractor because I have been to bad ones before. From those horrible experiences, I have learned that a good Chiropractor: takes x-rays when needed; explains why he is doing things; encourages you to ask questions and takes the time to answer them; performs re-assessments at each appointment and adapts his treatments accordingly; and teaches you ways to increase your healing ability in between appointments. Dr. Andresen does all of these things and much more. The therapy Dr. Andresen provides has greatly decreased my suffering and continues to help me to avoid surgery on my back and neck. The customized foot orthotics he prescribed have given me the ability to continue walking. He was willing to treat me while wearing medical gloves in order to advance the healing of my shingles. They are very flexible and accommodating in terms of scheduling - I am able to make same-day appointments. The office is well-equipped, welcoming and clean. The staff is always very friendly. I have loved my experience at Andresen Active. I started my visits as a last attempt at migraine relief- being tired of taking multiple daily medications. I started off with 3 visits a week and gradually moved to 1 a month. I am almost migraine free and am completely off of the extra medication thanks to their wonderful staff and a combination of adjustments, physical exercises and different massage therapies. I have been to several different chiropractors over the years, but I never felt that I needed to go on a routine basis.
