An easy choice for a laid back afternoon in King of Prussia. We stopped into Workhorse Brewing Company for a Saturday lunch and walked away genuinely impressed. The space itself is massive and well laid out, making it ideal for groups while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. Even better, it is kid friendly, which makes it a great option when you want a brewery vibe without excluding the whole family. The drink program really shines here. The beer lineup was solid across the board, with styles for just about everyone. What surprised us most was the cocktail menu. They were running seasonal Christmas renditions, including an Old Fashioned that was festive without being gimmicky and genuinely excellent. It is refreshing to find a brewery that takes cocktails seriously. Food came out quickly and was better than expected. Everything we tried was tasty, but their take on the traditional Philly cheesesteak stood out and is absolutely worth ordering. Though a slight miss for the buffalo chicken cheeseteak, as it was dry and under seasoned. Overall, Workhorse is a great place to spend an afternoon. Whether you are meeting friends, bringing a group or even showing up with kids in tow, it delivers on drinks, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The large bar and dining areas will easily hold huge crowd Sadly our visit here will probably be our last. The vibe here is most definitely millennial driven. No menus - digital code to directly order from completely eliminating the need for wait staff. You order online pay online and your food is brought out. Plates, utensils, and water are all self service. If you want to sample some more beers. You must order them through the app as well. This discouraged us from ordering more than we would have had there been an actual waiter/waitress. The lack of personal interaction was disheartening. The food was decent but nothing exceptional as we sampled the wings. Buffalo chicken egg rolls and cheese steak. We would have opted to order some desert "bombs" as well but again, the lack of wait staff had us reluctant to splurge. From what we could see the venue offers lots to do with corn hole, bingo nights, live music and more but we came on a weeknight with nothing going on. I would think if we came on an event night we may have had a different experience. Granting stars for the cleanliness, possible potential for live music, the edibility of the food but for us it's a one and done.

Luckily Saturday Club was available on a Saturday mid January. Joyce Dugan from the Saturday Club was nice and easy to work with. Since they didn't have a Friday event, they gave us keys on Friday and allowed us to do set up Friday evening and Saturday morning. They did provide the tables and chairs and set them up on Friday for us which was awesome. The employee Chris was there in the office during the wedding if we needed anything. The place is really cute and was the perfect size for our wedding. We had just the perfect amount of room for the number of table and chairs we used and enough room on the dance floor. There is a little area/ private room near the bathrooms that serves as the bridal suite and also a great place to nurse my son and for other nursing moms. The price was great and I love what the money goes towards. I would absolutely recommend this for a wedding of 50-90 guests or for other events. This would also be a great spot for bridal and baby showers. And they worked so well with our caterer. We put the photo booth in the front vestibule area. There is also a coat closet when you first walk in.

We researched places all over Philly and the surrounding suburbs. I had been to a college formal at Washies Memorial Hall so I suggested checking it out. We ended up deciding it was a great option for the following reasons: Large space-- I believe the max is right around 250 people Plenty of parking/transportation options- this spot has a large parking lot AND it is easily walkable from the Conshohocken train station Appeal of Conshohocken- it has hotel options that were walkable from Washies, there were bars within a few blocks for the afterparty, and it is right off 476 and 76 Food and drink options- super affordable (see my PTG Catering review for a review of the food) Our party was this past Saturday and it was a huge hit. The staff at Washies was very helpful during the planning process and on the day of the event. All our guests were impressed by the space and had a great time. I highly recommend Washies Memorial Hall for your next event!

He got angry when we asked him for a glass of water because it was 10 minutes before his shift. He made comments to us about how he wasn't being paid to stay after 11 even thought we were just finishing cleaning up and it was still 10:30. He also closed up the bar an hour before our event ended and wouldn't even get water or soda for anyone. Last year we hoped he was just in a bad mood. This year I think he's just legitimately a jerk. We already decided we're taking the event elsewhere next time.

We were seated quickly, and from the jump, the staff was on point--attentive, friendly, and knew that menu like the back of their hand. Real ones who make you feel welcome without hovering. The artwork throughout the dining area really stood out--elegant and thoughtfully curated. It added to the atmosphere in a way that made the whole experience feel intentional and artistic without being pretentious. Now the food? Fire. Every dish was well-prepared and bursting with flavor. The homemade vinaigrette was one of those small details that made a big impression. I had the duck breast--tender, flavorful, and plated like they cared. My girl went with the zucchini omelet and potatoes, and let's just say... I definitely helped her finish it. This spot serves up breakfast with a more refined twist. It's not your average eggs-and-bacon joint, and the pricing reflects that--about $35 each--but the quality matches the tag. You're paying for fresh, high-level ingredients and a well-thought-out experience. Pros: Flavor that hits, fresh ingredients, standout service. Cons: Seating's a little tight, and the menu leans more gourmet--so if you're hunting for pancakes or a simple bagel, you might be outta luck. Definitely recommend for a weekend treat or a chill brunch date with a little flair.
