My husband and I were married at the AWH on Sept 4th, 2015. It was one of the best days of our lives. We picked the AWH based on the food, flat usable space, ambiance, cost and the ability to make this day unique to our vision. Our Ceremony started at 5:30pm and ended at 11pm. We are foodies so JAM catering was a perfect fit. The food is simply amazing. We decided on beef short ribs and mahi mahi. Our guest still rave about it. Nothing like typical wedding food. The cake was perfection. Stations were beautiful and there was plenty of food. Our guest did not want to leave the cocktail hour! The space was a perfect size. We were married outside and exchanged our own vows under a wooden pergola. I will never forget it as long as I live. The outdoor space was great for cocktails, yard games and the general flow of guests. Never crowded. The elderly were able to get around as well. Few steps. The road AWH sits on is not loud. You feel very secluded. The ambiance is perfection. Beautiful and rustic. The old colonial house is a beautiful backdrop. The fire pit created a relaxed atmosphere. The tent was breath taking. This place needs very little extra fluff to shine. The tent is on polished concrete. Plenty of room for tables and dancing. There are 2 bars very close to the tent. I did not want my guests to have to walk all over creation. The cost was very reasonable. We looked at 17 different places. This gave us everything we were looking for and at the best cost per head. JAM catering was more than willing to work with us and talk about any financial concerns. I do feel like we got our monies worth. Our onsite coordinator Angela, answered all of our questions and was helpful the day of the wedding along with the rest of her team. Khasera did a great job as well. The team helped us clean out of there. Our wedding was exactly what we were going for. Relaxed, delicious and an absolute great party. Forget the formalities. It is your day! A dream venue. Our wedding on May 24th, 2015 was truly wonderful. The venue and all of the vendors associated with the venue were incredibly helpful, professional and a pleasure to work with. Paul & I were searching through many different venues throughout Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. After visiting a few, we stumbled across the Anthony Wayne House, thanks to Angela DiLella for showing us the space. She was incredibly helpful through the entire planning process and even visited on our wedding day. We visited in the winter and knew while we were there that it would be a perfect space for our wedding. We had 180 guests and the lawn was a perfect space for our outdoor wedding and cocktail hour, while the tent was a trendy, spacious, beautiful and safe space for our reception. Lynn Gluck, our liasion and party planner was helpful throughout every aspect of planning. She helped with all of the logistics. I mean really, she took care of everything! The caterer, Jeffrey Miller Catering, was absolutely fantastic. The food was exceptional and all of the guests mentioned how fantastic, perfectly cooked and flavorful the food was. This includes all of the appetizers, cake, dinner and signature drinks! They were professional and helpful. We even had a private tasting to choose the delicious food to serve! :) If you are a vegetarian or want to have a great vegetarian option, choose the zucchini and quinoa cakes with cashew butter and spaghetti squash! It was to die for! We loved working with all of the planners and had a fantastic experience. We both 100% recommend this venue for a wedding event. Like most girls, My sister has been dreaming about her wedding day since she was a little girl. Once she was engaged, we immediately began scouting venues. The very first venue we looked at was The Anthony Wayne House in Paoli, Pa. Angela Dilella, the event manager, was there to greet us at the front door. She was genuinely excited to show us around. We were given a wonderfully descriptive vision of what my sisters big day could look like. One of the best parts about this venue is that there are so many creative options for laying out your wedding. Your vows could take place in the yard, on the patio of the historical house, in the tent or by the mantel. If you're looking for a rustically elegant wedding, The Anthony Wayne house is it! Unlike a lot of venues, this one comes with everything. The catering is one of the best around. You really have everything there you, need plus more! You can honestly tell that these people, especially Angela, care about making your day perfect. You realize that after spending time with her. What personally stood out to me were the unique and special pieces they had that most brides would have to purchase separately. My husband and I were married at AWH on 9/20/15. I really couldn't have asked for a better day. From the moment we booked or wedding there, we were in consistent and often contact with our wedding planner, Lynn. Lynn was available to us at all times, and would respond to be very quickly when I emailed her questions. Lynn really did help me put my dream wedding together. Having a great planner was essential for me; I live out of state and really needed someone to communicate with me often! The food that JAM provides is delicious. The chef's pay attention to every single detail. Several wedding guests told me the salmon was "the best they ever had." The cocktail hour was one of a kind; we had our signature cocktails and great hors d'ovevures. I will also note that I have a serious peanut/nut allergy. JAM was nothing but accommodating with me and assured me no food would even have a touch of nuts. Also, what a bonus to have them prepare your wedding cake for you! We did red velvet and it was amazing. We got married outside under the pergula and had our cocktail hour in the yard. If you want the rustic, backyard feel, this is the venue for you. They have a huge carriage home that is also open to your guests (we had our photo booth and thank you table in there). They also allow your guests to get a free tour of the actual AWH during cocktail hour. I can't say enough good words about AWH. Lynn and the staff at AWH truly made our wedding the best day of our lives. My wedding day was honestly stress free, as I could enjoy time with family and friends while Lynn and the staff took away the stressful tasks. I can't thank them enough! read more

My husband and I got married at Anthony Wayne House and it was a wonderful experience (from the start of our planning process back in October 2014 with Angela and Lynn up until our actual wedding day this past June 2015). As soon as my mother and I saw the venue, I knew it was going to be our wedding location and Angela made everything so seamless from start to finish. The Jeffrey Miller team was on top of every little detail and were always so accommodating and supportive of us throughout the preparations (even during those moments when my bridal indecisiveness kicked in big time). My husband and I had the most wonderful experience with the Anthony Wayne House. We toured several properties prior to the Anthony Wayne house, but knew once we stepped onto the property that this was the place for us! The property is stunning from the large wooden pergola to the carriage house to the fire pit to the tent lined with mason jar lights. We wanted a rustic style outdoor wedding, but still wanted it to be elegant and different from others we'd seen, and the Anthony Wayne House fit the bill. We got married in October 2015, and our guests haven't stopped talking about how gorgeous the venue was or how delicious the food was! What made our experience so special at the Anthony Wayne House was the help of the Jeffery Miller team, who helped to plan and cater the event from the food to the flowers. Angela Dilella was our coordinator, and she stopped at nothing to give us exactly what we wanted. From planning to the actual day, Angela didn't miss a beat and truly made everything completely seamless. Also, Tom from the Buttercup floral team worked wonders and gave us exactly what we wanted and then some! We had budget constraints like most people do, and both Angela and Tom made all of our visions fit into our budget. And of course the food from Jeffrey Miller was out of this world! My husband and I were lucky enough to have held our wedding this past August 28th at Anthony Wayne House. The property is absolutely beautiful and offers everything that we could have ever dreamed of for our special day. The staff at Anthony Wayne is absolutely fantastic. We first met Angela when we visited the property and she was incredibly helpful when it came to all of our questions and concerns both before and after booking our wedding. When it came to our wedding we actually ended up working specifically with Lynn who was equally wonderful and walked us through each and every detail of our day (even the list of crazy questions that I'm pretty sure I forwarded to her on a weekly basis), we appreciate her hard work more than we can say! Even though we didn't end up working directly with Angela on our wedding she was lovely enough to check in here and there throughout our planning process and even stopped by the day of our event to wish us well, the whole AWH team is delightful! Our guests are still talking about how much they loved this venue- from the property, to the food from JAM Catering and the beautiful flower arrangements from Buttercup there was truly no detail spared on our wedding. GREAT EXPERIENCE! A special shout out to Angela who made our special day so perfect!!! When I walked into the open house at Anthony Wayne House about a year and a half ago, I was immediately greeted by Angela, the Sales Manager. She was very knowledgeable, passionate and made my fiance and I feel very comfortable with the process. We fell in love with the property and the atmosphere. Angela was also our planner throughout the whole process and made us feel confident that the day would be flawless. AND IT WAS! The entire staff, food, and service were top notch. Thank you for making our day an unforgettable one! There are several great reviews on yelp about the staff and service at Antony Wayne House. However, I was super disappointed to see a recent review that didn't vibe with the rest of the them. I am sorry that you didn't have a great experience but I wonder why you chose a venue where you "claim blood was smeared on your information packet" in the first place? Seems odd. As for some of the other comments and accusations, they were quite ridiculous! Advice: Read a contract before you sign and don't pick a venue where you feel you had a bad experience on day 1!!!!! We got married at the AWH on October 24, 2015. Jeffrey Miller catering did a phenomenal job of creating a flawless event! Our wedding coordinator was organized, responsive, and very calming. She made the planning so easy for us! The day of the wedding was perfect! Dana, our coordinator, helped to make sure that we stayed on schedule. The cocktail hour was wonderful, and people are still telling me how much they liked the hors d'oeuvres. Dinner was equally as wonderful. The timing of the dinner was well thought out and executed. I can't say enough about the venue itself. The grounds are beautiful! I highly recommend a fall wedding as the changing leaves made for a magical backdrop to our ceremony. The fire pit was a huge hit with our guests and created the perfect atmosphere for our day. I have no hesitation in recommending AWH and Jeffrey Miller catering to any couple. We knew AWH was our venue the moment we took a tour with Angela, and were so happy to be matched up with Lynn to plan our day. My husband and I were just married on August 11th at the Anthony Wayne house. I cannot even begin to express how wonderful everything was. Lynn Gluck was our wedding planner and she was fabulous. We were given the freedom to make our night our own with homemade decor and it was absolute perfection!!! It even poured with rain the entire night but the Jeffrey Miller Catering Staff and the Anthony Wayne House wedding planners made it the most beautiful indoor wedding you could imagine. It was romantic and intimate! Lynn, Angela, and Cindy were such pleasures to work with! The venue was perfect, and I had so many compliments on the delicious food! JAM and AWH really did make wedding planning so much fun for us!! We had our wedding reception at the AWH on a Sunday in late October and it was hands-down, the best day ever. Not only was the beautiful autumn day the perfect backdrop but the staff was on point. They literally took care of every single detail and wanted to be sure myself or anyone in the bridal party didn't have to worry or fuss over anything. They made it so easy for us to plan and the communication was always friendly and efficient. And I can't forget to mention the food! If I had a nickle for every time I heard a guest say "best wedding food I've ever had" I'd be rich. JAM definitely lived up to their reputation. Anthony Wayne House was the second venue my fiance and I visited. As soon as we walked through the carriage house, we knew this was the place we HAD to get married at! This place has so much charm. It is beautiful! The brick house appeals to the historic part in me. The farm house tables are one of my favorite things, it give the venue another unique quality you don't always see. But, the overall backyard/ garden feel is what sold me. Anthony Wayne House is so intimate (even if we did invite 190 guests). There is plenty of room for the ceremony, cocktail hour, backyard games, fire pit, reception, and AWH tours. Nothing feels too close, everything has it's own space. We are even adding an outdoor lounge! I can't wait for my wedding next month, I know it is going to be a night to remember! read more

What sold us were the beautiful wood farm house tables. The staff was great to work with, Angela showed us the venue and Lynn was our day of coordinator. We chose Buttercup as our florist who is affiliated with JAM catering and he blew us away. We chose the stations options for food which everyone seemed to love. We live in Colorado and booked the Anthony Wayne House without being able to see it. We were finally able to see the venue when we were in PA visiting family and had our tasing with JAM. It all exceeded our expectations! The venue is absolutely gorgeous and if you are looking for an elegant outdoor wedding experience, this is the place for you. I knew I was going to like this venue after finding it online and seeing the beautiful pictures and positive reviews from past weddings. After visiting the venue last fall and working with the AWH team on my wedding day logistics since then, I feel even more sure! We had our wedding at the Anthony Wayne House in September and it was great. We toured the property last year and loved it but wasn't sure it would fit our budget. Angela met with us again and worked with us to make it happen. The property worked well for our handicapped guests and the staff was very accommodating. The food was made by Jeffrey Miller Catering, it was delicious and the wedding cake with included as well.
