Before working with Andrew, I could not imagine giving any realtor a strong recommendation!! We were relocating from Cupertino to Danville and asked Andrew to find a house for us that met all of our criteria. (Unfortunately for Andrew, we have a long history of buying and selling real estate and so we tend to set the bar rather high!!) To our surprise and delight, Andrew filtered all of the properties for sale against our criteria so that he only showed us properties that met our requirements. We were put into contact with Andrew several years ago by a friend when we were moving to Alamo. We ended up purchasing a home using another realtor but Andrew followed up with us every year to see how we were liking our new home and offering his services should we need them. After three years in our home we decided it was time for a move. The first person I reached out to was Andrew. He was the only realtor to check in yearly even though we had never been a client. Andrew and Leslie came over to our house and patiently went through our options for selling and buying while our four boys noisily ran around the house. We met Andrew at an open house on a condo that he was selling. We weren't serious buyers and didn't have a realtor then. Andrew and his wife Leslie sent us an introductory video that night letting us know about them and offering to meet up should we be interested. We found the approach very personable and different. Very easy going couple and really respected our opinion and position. Couple of months later we got serious with our home hunt and turned to Andrew to see if he would want to be our buyer's agent. By then we had been exchanging emails and I had been profiling other realtors as well and we decided to go with Andrew. He primarily focuses on the San Ramon, Danville, Concorde areas and we were looking at the Tri-valley but Andrew did not let that bother him. He setup alerts and would diligently followup to see which properties we were interested to tour in. When he got a sense of what we were really looking at, he stopped showing us properties that was not worth our time. We were casually chatting one day and talked about the property we first met him at - turned out that the owner pulled the property off the market as he didn't get a good buyer and price. We really liked the property and asked Andrew if he would be willing to check with the owners if they wanted to consider an off-market sale. He discussed and got the owners to agree to consider a sale. Since they also knew Andrew, they decided to do a FSBO with Andrew as our buyers agent. He negotiated a fair price that was acceptable to us and we entered into contract on a property that was off-market and therefore did not have to get into any kind of competitive bids. Andrew was very thorough with the process and documentation. While we did have some unforeseen challenges surface close to closing, Andrew patiently worked with the seller to clear the hurdles and help us close on the same day per contract. He is an extremely polite and courteous gentleman and always keeps his cool. As a closing gift, he got our new home professionally cleaned. Leslie and he also visited us after we moved in gave us a housewarming gift. A great guy to work with and someone who takes his job seriously too. You cant go wrong with him as your agent.
