After a little bit of shopping I found McHardy's Vacuum had great prices on bags I wanted and shipping was cheap. Much better than heading to the store during the holiday season. Placed my order, didn't think much of it until today when the package arrived, and the reason why I'm writing this review. First of, it was quick, from across the the country over the holiday season it showed up on my door step in under a week. Second, along with my purchase they threw in a reusable shopping card and a hand written thank you card for my business and offering up any support for my future vacuum needs. I order stuff online all the time and it was this little appreciation of my business that really took me by surprise. You can tell these people value their customers and for that reason alone they could be my only supplier for all of my future vacuum related purchases. Well done guys!

Found McCardy Vacuums on the internet. Have a Dyson DC21 and needed new brush roller for power…read morehead. Called Dyson first but they were of NO HELP AT ALL (other than to tell that they no longer could carried parts for that model. McCardy Vacuums to the rescue. Spoke with very friendly and helpful fellow named Andrew. He knew what I needed and had it in stock. Explained it was "aftermarket" which came as no surprise to me since Dyson has completely absolved itself of any ĺcustomer responsibility on a vacuum that cost over $600 when purchased a few years ago! No more Dysons for us and would highly recommend McCardy Vacuums. Received the parts today (only 2 days after ordering) and they fit perfectly. Thank you Andrew. I am by no means inept but I am not entirely familiar with the RC and hobby world. SImple questions are met with terse replies. When I stopped in recently (only because I needed something quick and I was nearby...I've been taking my business to other hobby shops after being treated poorly here twice), I went to inquire about a part and the employee answered the phone while I was in the middle of talking to him and indicated for me to wait. He proceeded to have an in-depth conversation with the customer on the phone, ignoring me completely. There was another employee in the back he could have asked to come help me. I managed to find the part myself and proceeded to wait longer while he talked on the phone and ignored me. Finally the employee from the back came out, noticed me, and I was assisted. It is almost as if the staff here isn't actually interested in having customers....

My latest thing was replacing the rear wheels on a manual chair that I received from the Consistory Club. The OT specialist has to assess the person using the chair that we intend to buy, before government subsidy is approved. And OT are backed up several months. As a result, loaner chairs are also in extremely low supply. Mary at Dura Med had none, could find none, and worked far into the night calling in favours to work a miracle. I highly recommend this company for their personal commitment to make things happen.
