We had purchased his Kangaroo Joey Pump from Melekare. We knew Melekare was an independent store and wanted to support local instead of a big chain store. When the healthcare nurse showed up to get him hooked up she soon realized that the factory settings were what we ended up finding out in Portuguese. The healthcare nurse wasn't familiar enough with the machine to know what buttons to push to get into the settings to change the language. I was able to get a hold of Kari, after hours to help us. She started by telling us to take a deep breath and then walking us through what to do. She was familiar with the machine that from her home she was able to tell us from memory what buttons to push. After getting the machine set to English she walked us through how to set the amount of formula and how to install the tube into the pump and then hooking the tube up to my dad. Since then we've entrusted Melekare for all our medical needs from supplies, accessibility devices, etc. when Kari has delivered equipment, she just doesn't drop it off and leave. She came in and made sure the equipment was set to the right height and that my dad was comfortable with everything. She even put the tension socks on to make sure they fit correctly and weren't too tight. I would highly recommend Melekare for any of your medical needs. They are very compassionate and knowledgeable. They made us feel like our concerns mattered and that we were not just another number.

This corner store (literally) has only what you need and nothing more. There's a large selection of over-the-counter drugs, personal care items, herbal supplements and essential oils. Service is the real standout here. Jeff is the owner and head pharmacist. Everyone is so helpful and pleasant. I've gone in with problems great and small and always been well advised. Worst customer service and price gouging I've been doing…read morebusiness with them for over 10 years and I wish I had never started. Single worst customer service in the game. No follow up calls. Always have to chase them for service or parts for example I ordered a battery in April, it was approved in May, but the store claims they never got the paperwork, my agent insists it was sent, it's now the end of July and I am still chasing them. They are often late invoicing then want to rush you to come sign some padded bill. The markup on things like incontinence pads is EXTREME because they know the govt pays with our tax dollars. It should be criminal. I've had them show up at my door to get a signature after I specifically told them NOT to come to my home. Rachel will lie to your face and takes no accountability for errors. Robin will gaslight you and tell you "that never happened" when you and your husband both watched it go down. All in all ZERO stars. DO NOT recommend. This will be my last transaction with them. Next time I have to replace my wheelchair I'll go somewhere with accountability and actual customer service.
