She took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I was as comfortable as possible during the process. The procedure itself took about 15 minutes, not counting the additional time needed to let the numbing cream kick in. As she started the procedure, we realized that more numbing cream was needed, so that was another 10 to 15 minutes tacked on to the time. Unfortunately, the procedure was not as painless as was initially described, but it's not prohibitively uncomfortable. Dr. Kim checked in with me throughout the process and if I needed a break, she would take a pause and give me one. After the procedure, Dr. Kim gave me some wound care instructions as well as some ointment to put on the site as it healed. I'm happy to report that there was no pain or discomfort after the procedure. Procedure side, I love the energy of this place. There's all kinds of holistic, homeopathic, and ayurvedic materials in here including incense, tea, crystals, candles, sage bundles, palo santo, and all sorts of sprays and tonics to help purify your home or your environment. There are even gift sets for all the holistic homegirls in your life. They also sell accessories including ankle bracelets and custom waist beads imported from Ghana. I asked the front desk associate to reinstate my membership, and she said she would take care of it. I then received my massage and went home, only to discover that my card had been charged twice: once for a $129.95 reinstatement + membership fee and again for the massage itself, which was $79.95. To make matters worse, this was a new card that was not previously on file -- meaning it was entered and charged the same day without full transparency. I called the location on Sunday to inquire, and the receptionist could only see the membership charge, yet my membership still shows as inactive. She also stated she couldn't see the second charge and that I'd have to wait until Wednesday to speak with a manager. As of today, both charges have posted to my account. I've also been unable to log into the app, and the whole experience has been frustrating. While my masseuse was amazing, the business itself is messy and played with my coins. The receptionist on Sunday was polite but unhelpful, and the Saturday receptionist failed to explain I'd be charged for both the membership and the same-day service. That second location said the gift could only be used at the original Waldorf store -- again, contradicting what I was told during purchase. I called Waldorf to escalate, but was refused access to a manager and even given a fake corporate phone number. The entire experience was unprofessional, dishonest, and frustrating. The associate who sold me the package appeared to know she'd misled me but offered no help. Unless this is resolved, I would not recommend this location to anyone.
