My doctor referred me to a few physical therapists but I chose ATI because of their more flexible evening hours. This was my 1st time doing PT because from the prior accident, I only went to a chiropractor. I began my sessions with ATI in April and you have to do a ton of questionnaires on your 1st visit. Because I was new to the PT world, I was a little surprised seeing all the openness amongst other patients. I was thinking there would be a private room but as I learned, this is not an environment where you have a privacy lol. I had the pleasure of starting with Jill and I rotated with Will as the weeks went on. Both ATI physical therapists were super friendly, personable and you really become friends with them by the end of your full PT sessions. They have you do various exercises and never push you to what you can't handle. They also give you online sessions and daily at-home exercises. Because of Will & Jill, I am almost back to 100% pain-free. I'll miss working with them but when the pain comes back again (and I'm certain it will), I'll be sure to visit ATI again

I also had the pleasure of receiving a few therapy sessions from Ann Marie who is also an occupational therapist for Active Physical Therapy, she too was excellent. They intentionally and wickedly withheld the co-pay info from me until i got to the appointment, probably hoping i would be in too much pain & just go through with it. I asked the receptionist why she didn't share this info with me when i made the appointment, haven given her my insurance info back then! All she could say is "i'm sorry". There are many other PT with a lower co-pay that i could have made an appt with had i known early enough what this Active PT was charging. I have been in a lot of pain, & looking forward to some relief from the PT session but thanks to their wickedness, & ineptness, i will have to remain in pain until i find another PT with an opening.

The results under her guidance are far superior to other PT experiences I've had. After total knee replacement, Monique, and as well Mr. Ho, encouraged and marshaled the enormous confidence and motivation required to get off the walker and cane. In only four weeks they added 70 degrees range of motion to the knee, which led to crucial cancellation of an imminent second operation to remove scar tissue. Without their advanced therapies, patience, and encyclopedic knowledge I would have ended up back in an OR, or worse. I will be grateful to Monique and Mr. Ho for the rest of my life. I was in the lobby, since I arrived early, and I heard him talking with an elderly lady about her treatment plan. His kind tone, patience, and warmth in his voice as he spoke to her about her situation was incredible. He was so respectful and was mapping out what she needed to do with her other doctors to make sure everyone was on the same page. It was heart warming. I first needed to go to Dr Raj for my right shoulder. Within a month of PT my shoulder was back to normal. Then I lifted something that was very light and tweaked it, so back to Dr. Raj. Withing 2 weeks it was fixed and I haven't had any issues since then. Then the right hip started acting up so started the process with Dr. Raj. It's been a few weeks and it is starting to feel better and the limp is almost gone. I still have work to do on my hip, but I know Dr. Raj will get me back to my normal hip health soon.

During the first visit Raj assessed the problem, explained in detail his findings and his recommendations (which he shared with my doctor too). After several visits, the pain was gone. He continued then with methods that helped me gain strength to prevent future injuries and helped me regain normal range of movement. He used tools and methods that helped me during sessions, but also taught me how to replicate them at home. I am very thankful for his professional help and his caring personality.
