    100-year-old dining room chair

I recently had three antique (usable) dining room chairs repaired. Attention to detail, good turnaround time, and pricing make this my go-to for repairs and upholstery.

Had a hard time finding a local upholsterer who wasnt overloaded or too snooty to use fabric I had bought. I went a little outside my town and found Andrews. Josh and Edye were really responsive. They were able to recover my 15 year old outdoor cushions (11total) in a reasonable amount of time (a different company couldnt get to them for 4 months). They beefed up the interiors and made new removeable zippered covers. My 15 year old outdoor sofa and chairs looks brand new! I highly recommend Andrews furniture Services.

Worn out looking XXL Lane recliner.

The pictures speak for themselves. Andrew's Furniture Repair is amazing to work with. Professional, affordable and we couldn't be happier with our association with them. Definitely will call them again.

While there is only one other furniture repair service that would've taken on my difficult repair…read moreof a white leather chair that fell out of the trailer while being hauled from the store I bought it from, this man, Larry, owner, called me back first. He initially gave me a quote of $500-$600 when I told him that was well out of my budget. He left after having come out to view it, but called me back shortly thereafter saying he could do a patch up for $200 or a full repair like new for $400. I went ahead with the full repair. After having picked it up at no charge along with a large load of other obviously much cheaper furniture, and having told me it would be ready the following week, it became difficult to contact him the first day I tried to the next week. He told me that the chair was put together quite well and sounded positive after having the chair apart, but my next conversation with him was quite different. He wanted me to come out to look at it. I drove out to the country where his shop is located in a completely dumpy, trashy shack of a shop. He said he already had 16 hours in it at $25/hr (which he never went over with me before the verbal agreement of $400 which is legally binding in TX) and told me he had to put another half a day into it taking it closer to $500. I told him that he'd told me $400 and he responded that he didn't know that. In the end it doesn't look like new, he told me about making holes in the side of the chair when he stretched the leather that he had to repair, which he told me he also billed me for, yet when he brought the chair back to me, the holes had not been repaired. He also charged me $25 to deliver it as his "fuel costs" I don't care what you're driving, it doesn't cost $25 to drive here and back, especially considering he seems to make all his deliveries at once. He was very grumpy, the total came to $600, he acted like he didn't remember quoting me the $400 or even calling me back after I initially turned down his first quote of $500-$600. He complained about the color of my furniture when he brought it in, was very judge mental about how the chair was damaged, and even the fact that I have dogs with white furniture, he was very unpleasant and obviously doesn't care if he gets a good referral or word of mouth buzz. So in the end, I paid 50% more than he quoted me, he never told me he worked hourly, he gave me a quote with a dollar amount & didn't honor it. Get your quote in writing and ask questions if you do business here. I knew my chair wouldn't look like new the way it was scuffed, so my complaint is less about how it certainly doesn't look like new, but really about feeling conned with my chair being held hostage with the bill exceeding the quote so extremely. The day before he delivered it he also demands the payment in cash after initially telling me he would accept a check. I had to use the ATM 3 times to get that much cash also costing me $2.50/transaction because of the withdrawal limit. He's very unpersonable and offensive, holding his nose up to me and my family. He was extremely curt. Good luck if you must use him. Call Andrews Furniture Repair/Service instead.

The previous contractor had left it with visible drywall screws wide exposed cuts, etc. It looked terrible. After panicking because our countertops were scheduled for installation and looking through Jasons Yelp photos, we knew we needed to get on Jason's schedule. He books out sometimes 3 weeks, and this was last minute. We ended up delaying our countertop installation by 3 weeks in order to have him do the work. Waiting for Jason to do the work was 100% worth having a plywood island top for those 3 weeks. He showed up on time and got right to work. His cuts are precise, and the extension he built looks like it's always been there. We ended up hiring him to extend our kitchen cabinetry to the ceiling and add crown molding to it, as well as add trim pieces to our cabinets' blank sides before we had them painted. We also hired him to modify and install a wood hood over our stove top. Everything came out perfectly. We are more than impressed with his work and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. This guy is a professional and the best kind. There was not one bad surprise with him. He even gave me some tips, as I was filling the cabinet handle holes prior to getting them painted. They came out perfectly. Thanks, Jason!

Jason was friendly, fast, and the end result was excellent. His prices were refreshingly fair compared to three other quotes we received from other drywall contractors.
