Called to set an appointment about two weeks before the home was closed on. Asked my realtor for a recommendation she took a pool of the realtors and 3 of 4 recommended them. The lady who handled my appointment schedule at the toll free number was very polite and set up the appointment with ease. The local guy was very understanding and polite as well. On moving day the guys showed up on time they gave me a text when they left the store they went to my parents home first then the apartment and then to the destination. They were very efficient and quick. They were also very polite. The hunks part is explained on the pic of the truck that I posted. It was a very nice experience as far as moving goes and pretty reasonable w the price as well. Would definitely use them again as well as recommend them to family and friends. There wasn't much to report that is negative. when I think about it nothing really. Very positive about this company plus they donated two meals to charity w every move. read more

I never got past the phone and online info stage, but decided this company is too awful! to even consider. I filled out their online quote request with all the info, then received a response (AI?) that recapped my info and pretended they answered my questions about cost. They provided zero info about cost. Their overly scripted phone conversations and silly outgoing recorded messages made it seem that no one in charge is paying any attention to customer service. My calls to them were all train wrecks - constant loops that wasted time and call center employees who were no help at all. The owners of this company must have been sold a bunch of worthless technology. It's a stretch to give them even one star. read more

Just opened a box from my office and found a precious picture with my best friend and our Dads who both have passed away unwrapped with a paper towel holder and other dish metal holder on top of it so that it's damaged in two places. They should not have been boxed together and the picture should have been wrapped. There was plenty of paper left over. Unacceptable. read more

AWFUL! BEWARE! Awful! Just awful. They damaged major property and then had my mother who is clearly disabled with dementia and who requires a caregiver (who was with her) sign a release when the caregiver was in another room. They forced her new couch (thank you Justin, Ron, and Chad for your lack of care) in the doorway damaging it. Broke a leg on her armoire off and then damaged a table. They took over 8 hours to move her out of an apartment that was completely packed up for them. DO NOT USE THEM! give them negative stars if I could. read more

Sent two of the nicest gentleman who worked their butts off until the last piece was unloaded we had a lot of heavy items that I wouldn't even think about trying to move bit they did it Like it wasn't nothing. My 3 Hunk crew worked tirelessly to load and move me today. They were on time, overly accommodating, professional, and very efficient. Even though they were moving all of my possessions from my crazy ex's while he was uncooperative and tried everything to make their job more difficult insisting they move all boxes and heavy furniture from one corner of the 2 acre property to the other instead of allowing them to drive the truck the usual route to the back of the property, my hunks never complained and handled his ridiculous requests in stride. Washing machine not properly reconnected and flooded laundry room. Also, price was much higher than estimate even though it did not include some of the moving that was originally included in the estimate. Do not hire these guys. They will rip you off. They charged me an extra $500 for the drivers being lost. I had given very specific instructions to a very new neighborhood. Drivers called at 1800 to let me know he is lost. I did not answer right away due to me being deployed. They should have been at my house around 1700. I called back 30 minutes later and a guy name Dan said since they been lost for 2 hours it's an extra $500. Why do I have to pay for the drivers being lost when notified an hour later after their ETA. I gave the drivers very specific instructions with a picture of the map marked where they need to go. Driver said they got it. Dan threatened they will just take my belonging back to Waco if I don't pay. Delivery was made to Houston. Given the fact that my person had not arrived to give them access to the unloading destination, she arrived 30 minutes late. I should have been charged for her being late but not for their drivers being lost period. I will NEVER use this company again. And broke my mirrored sideboards leg and laid it on the ground without protection. I have to say the drivers were very nice though. But Dan whoever he is, I have no words. read more

I had three 'hunks' come to clean out my father's house after he passed away. I did the packing, they came and took it all away. The company was super responsive to my initial request for quote. The team of 3 'Hunks' called to say they were ready two hours early if I was available. They worked quickly and efficiently, they were respectful of my father's home. They were super polite and friendly, and worked very hard to accommodate our requests. I made my initial request on Tuesday, quote received Wednesday, and job was done Thursday afternoon. There wasn't enough time to allow everyone to come get the items they wanted unless I missed bulk pickup, so I needed a junk removal service. I was nervous to trust a company I'd never used to clear the remaining items without leaving any mess, but they did a great job. They were on time, provided exactly what I needed for a good price, and I got my full deposit back on my rental so I know they made sure everything was removed without leaving any mess. So many people will provide the bare minimum, especially if you can't come back to check, but they provided the quality service they advertised which I respect and appreciate. I had a great experience with College Hunks!! My movers were Devin and Micheal and they did such an incredible job moving me out of my house that I requested the two of them again to move me into my new house a couple weeks later!! They were very careful and considerate with my belongings and even helped me rearrange my room until it was to my liking!! Not a single thing was broken, and they do a great job of wrapping up mirrors and breakables in order to move them safely. They were friendly, trustworthy, and efficient. Moving heavy furniture up three flights of stairs in Texas heat is no fun, but I did not hear one complaint.
