We even considered giving it a go ourselves andu I was really excited for "demo day" after watching too much HGTV. Long story short I'm at lunch one day and meet Robert from New Design Image Group. We get to chatting and I tell him about our project. He gave me a card and said he'd be happy to come by and take a look. I called him a few days later, luckily before I took sledge to walls, he came over that same day, looked under and behind some of my cabinets, laughed and asked if i was going to knock them out. He explained that I could simply unscrew some of them and avoid any collateral damage to the wall. So, no demo for me. We decided to hire him pretty much on the spot. My wife gave him some crude drawings of our ultimate goal and a week later he'd produced very detailed plans for our remodel. We purchased our new cabinets, dishwasher and sink and Robert's installers put it all together for us with ease. I'd definitely recommend Robert and New Design Image Group for remodels or whatever other home improvement project you may be dreaming of!

He had great reviews on Google & was registered with the BBB. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that the reviews are fake and that a BBB accredited business means nothing ( you can pay a fee for that title). Upon meeting to pay half my deposit, Johnathan failed to tell me his printer wasn't working; failing to provide a copy of the contract ( red flag #1). Thankfully, I had him sign a mock contract because he took my deposit money and never did the work! We had set an agreed upon start date, he would call & text me multiple times to set up dates to drop off materials and then make excuses as to why he couldn't. I was getting annoyed & uncomfortable but he called the night before to confirm he'd start at the set date. After waiting two hours past the start time I texted him. I clearly explained I know longer wished to do business with him and expected my deposit back in full by the date & time I provided. He had a week to refund me and made absolutely no effort to. In fact, he didn't reply until over 24 hours later. Sick & tired of his broken promises, I filed a police report. Unfortunately, this is considered a civil matter so they cannot help. However, they did attempt to contact Warner without success. I filed a report with the BBB who were also unsuccessful in getting a reply. My case has now been turned over to the Attorney General. Johnathan is a thief!

Blue Spruce was recommended by someone on the Solon soundboard Facebook group For our painting job. The scope was painting walls, trims and cabinets on the first level. Mike provided us with an estimate with 1/3 to be paid at the time of scheduling and 1/3 when the job starts. These were red flags but we made the payment promptly. Everything from that point was downhill 1. Quality: Extremely poor quality. Untrained painters. Can't believe we paid $8000 for the quality of painting. Pealing paint and drips everywhere. Their cabinet painting work caused permanent damage. No other contractor wants to touch them. We are having to replace the cabinet doors costing us an additional $7000. They damaged our drywall in the process as well. And lost some of the cabinet glass work. 2. Schedule : The crew took over our first level for 1.5 months. The kitchen was not usable during the period. The initial schedule given was 2 weeks 3. Professionalism : zero professionalism. The crew did not have a set time to arrive and leave . This has been one of our worst experiences !
