Glad that they came yesterday, but somewhat confused. Paid for service on snowfalls 2 inches or more. I didn't think we got that much so I shoveled the walks (not the driveway) myself. (to my knees regret). A nice addition to their service would be a blast text/email, for these "marginal" snowfall totals, to customers telling them they are planning to send out crews. That would have saved my knees, which is the reason I contracted snow clearing out this year. read more

Signed up for a weekly lawn mowing and trimming company said they would call to let me know they would come the next day did not call came home. Saw that they've been there. They did not mold the entire lawn. They missed a huge spot in the front yard, they left all kinds of little spots where they did not mow in the backyard. They didn't trim. They left trimmings all over the patio in the front porch. Call them that day. left a message. It's been a week have not heard back from him. Haven't seen him this week and it's Friday at 4:30. Do not recommend this company to anyone unfortunately, I had to pay in advance. read more

Called this guy for a quote for mulitable driveways Was very condescending maybe because im a women. Was down right nasty Becuase how late it is in the season. For quotes Basically called me stupid Then when i asked for a quote. he said every minute im on the phone with you. I missing calls for possiable clients is guess he dose not want multiples driveways He says if you give me your credit card number i might be able to fit you in. This service has shown itself to be wonderful. (We've only had two snowfalls that reached about inches.) The crew was timely (on Sunday, they appeared even though we didn't think the snowfall had reached the threshold for service.); tidy, efficient. I hired these guys to remove snow from my driveways, stairs to the house and mailbox. The contract says they'll do it within 24 hours. Last week, it had been 5 days and they still didn't show up to do the work. This week, I had a 4' snow drift at the end of the drive way. I talked to them on the phone, texted them and left many messages. They never show up. For the bigger snow storms it could be 5+ days before they show up, if they show up. You give them money and they don't perform the work! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! Snowed in most of the winter. These guys just don't show up. read more

I hired this company in July of 2021 and paid them $1300 in advance to clear my driveway and stairs of snow for the season. We had a big storm in December, 2021. On the tenth actually. After 24 hours I called them to ask when they would get to my house. The person I talked with was rude and used the tone of voice men who use their testosterone to communicate. He growled that of their contract didn't require them to clear the snow for 48 hours. And they didn't. They cleared it on the 11th at 10:15pm. So, two full days they let the driveway sit. My son came over and cleared the snow from my stairs. They've never cleared my driveway the day of a storm. After the next big storms, Andrew's came out during the middle of the night after the snow sat up to two days on the driveway. My son cleared my stairs again. We had a big snow storm yesterday afternoon. (2/22/2022) My son cleared the stairs yet again because I needed to get out for an appt with a doctor and it's now 2/24. I couldn't get my car out of the garage, so I took Lyft. The picture below is of my driveway at 1:00pm on the 24th. At 6:30 pm (on 3 the workers showed up to clear my driveway. I asked if they were ok and they seemed up beat but said they'd only one hours sleep since the storm. It's just poor management. I guess in that business you only have to be smarter than your workers. And don't pretend you'll get repeat business. I'm really stuck. This company is terrible. Don't think twice. Spoke on the phone, everything seemed good, as soon as I emailed them the Scope of Work, he stated that he did not receive my email (even thought my email was sent to the correct email address that he gave me over the phone). Don't consider this company. I got their info from Angies list, so don't trust that either. This company has been nothing but a headache from the first snow. I need not only my driveway cleared but a large double deck, patio and walkways in the back of my house also. Andrew looked at the satellite view of my property which I said was very outdated. I described it the best I could but suggested he may want to come out and look at it. He didn't think that was necessary and gave me a quote. The same quote I got from others. I thought, I'm from northeast, he's from northeast, I'll give him the business. What a mistake. You have to pay for the full winter up front. Bad idea. It's end of February and not once has the snow removal been done right. I've talked to Andrew, Julian, Kurt, to no avail. They complain that I didn't pay enough for the big job that it is and do barely enough to say it's been shoveled. Apparently, Andrew contracts out areas and then doesn't pay his contractors correctly for the work their doing. It was his decision to charge what he did, but when it's not enough it's his contractors who suffer. Also, from what I have observed, they send their people out with poor equipment. You cannot clear steps and walkways well with only a push shovel. Last night was the FIRST time they sent someone out to do the back without me calling and complaining that it hadn't been done. I thought finally!! but.... He did only a partial job. He walked up the deck steps but didn't clear them. I saw him on the upper deck but he didn't clear all the snow. Walkways and steps were only partially cleared with chunks of snow left on them. Sidewalks and decks have the snow shoved aside but not cleared. I wish I could post pictures. This is typical of every time they come to clear snow. Anyone with snow experience knows if you keep shoving snow to the side pretty soon there's now where to put anymore and now it's hard, icy, and irremovable, leaving the snow load on the decks and impassable walkways. Not only that, when it starts melting and freezing you have a slippery mess that can ruin paving and concrete. So why are they in the snow removal business?? And then there's the driveway. They do come out in a timely manner for that. However, they don't snow blow full width, leaving about 2-3 feet of the sides unplowed-even tho I put stakes out to indicate the edge of the drive. This means if I need to stop in the driveway before I pull in the garage I have to step into snow. I should have 3 feet of pavement. And they will NOT clear the mailbox though I've pointed this out every time. If our mailboxes aren't cleared we don't get mail. So to sum up, do not hire this company, unless you like complaining and fighting for what they agreed to and you paid for. It's been a hassel every. single. time. read more

I urge you to reconsider your snow and lawn care service provider. The person who operates the customer service part of this business is incredibly rude, disrespectful and threatening. While the employees were prompt and did a good job with our snow removal last year, the company leadership does not offer an empathetic or service mindset when interacting with customers. They use sarcasm, contempt and threats when communicating via email. This morning, I received the first email ever from Snow and Lawn Care Services, notifying me that I needed to update my payment method for my auto-renewal - it was as straightforward as that. I responded stating that we wish to cancel as don't have needs to snow removal this year. The responses from their service rep continued to escalate into more sarcastic tone, contempt and ended with a threat to send my account to COLLECTIONS if I did not pay their unreasonable $350 cancellation fee by end of day. This email arrived at 1 pm, which did not give me time to confer with my husband. They forced us to cancel, made claims of being courteous (by mailing two notices of auto-renewal), and failed to make contact via phone or email until AFTER the auto-renewal timeframe elapsed. I pointed out that a mailed postcard does not scream attention required and that I responded immediately to their email correspondence. Their response, 'we mostly have positive responses and people are happy to be auto-renewed... Unfortunately for you, you obviously didn't read the contract.' FYI...this is the same company that operates as Andrew's Snow and Lawn Care...We signed up for their service late last year. They were mediocre at best and we seemed to have to call them every time it snowed. We had no intention of using them again. On 8/19/2024, we received an email that our service had auto renewed for the 2024 season. Naturally, we sent them an email to cancel the service and thought that was that. Unfortunately, they charged our debit card $1,953.00 on 8/25/2024. When I called to speak with a manager, Don got on the phone and was immediately hostile. He refused to refund our money and said we signed a contract. So, I hung up and reviewed the agreement. It did state that there was an auto renewal period, but nothing in the agreement said anything about not being able to cancel prior to the start of the season (IN THREE MONTHS!). So I called Donny boy back and he was even more hostile., Short story long, they extorted a $350.00 cancellation fee out of me before they would refund the $1,953.00. read more

Horrible service-- both the snow removal and customer service end of things. They did not remove snow from about 1/3 of the property (completely forgot the back walk and steps), they came at 12:30am the following day--snow had stopped at 3am the previous morning--even tho at 2pm they said they'd be there by "end of day"... when we texted and called to talk about this they did not return our messages. read more

If I could go lower than a one for customer service, I would. Extremely condescending, rude. I called one day after they had come to requests texts and address the fact that the contract said auto renewal and was treated horrible. Transferred three times to what sounded like the exact same person . When signing up I got the same hard sell as others plus they straight up lied to me. By the time I figured out the lies I had already paid a deposit. Hard sold, same line used on another reviewer. " I have had 20 calls while we have been talking" I paid the most on the block for my service and my lawn looks the worst. Thats said we are a few mows in.. maybe that will get better but their customer service is horrific. I will give them the chance to redeem themselves with respect to the actual service itself and will change my review about that but we are on day 11 with no mow. These guys were cutting our lawn all summer when we weren't in town. When I came back to town, I was at the house one day when they came by. They were there for 10 minutes with weed-wackers only, which is okay, but the job they did was pretty inconsistent all around. Some places the grass was still 4-6 inches and other bits were 3 inches. When I went to ask them to go back over it, one of the guys looked at me like I was crazy. The other was really nice and did it. But I wasn't pleased that they'd probably been doing a sub-standard job all summer. Hopefully they're better at other properties. read more
