He wanted us to schedule the follow up appointment wanting the MRI done by the date of the appointment and stated Beacon was the only location who could provide the MRI he needed. When scheduling the MRI it was complete phone tag and stated they could not get my husband in even if the MRI was marked STAT. Today, was a mess within its self. His scheduler Tabetha was rude and nasty would not let me talk talked over me. Then processed to tell me it was our fault that my husband has waited over a 1 yr for a second opinion and that we were rushing the MRI. I would not recommend anyone to them!

We were there for a second opinion so he had allegedly already taken a look at the original x-ray. I also wanted to ask questions and point out something I saw on the x-ray. He never looked at it. He talked over me, loudly, had a smug attitude, and was extremely rude to me. He told me there was nothing wrong with my sons leg according to the x-ray, but, as I said, I was there for a second opinion. Children's Hospital took the x-ray, and put my son in a leg brace based on their findings. My son had a knee injury. The excruciating pain was not a constant, and of course my son was experiencing it while we were in the office. But it had returned after the brace, when he does activities, and it at times is so bad that my son cannot walk, that indicates there is still an issue. Dr. Shaw told me kids injure themselves and it's better in a day or two. I told him that this had been happening since April. He shrugged his shoulders. I asked what would he recommend doing? He said "Don't know." From a professional, I was really hoping to get some answer other than "maybe." Dr. Shaw's attitude toward me was that I wasted his time, I was inferior to him, and he nonchalantly dismissed any question that I had about healing my sons leg with a one worded answer such as "maybe." I wonder what it was about me that he was prejudiced against. I NEVER showed any disrespect even when he did, and I never showed any sigh of attitude. I just don't understand why he disliked me so much immediately that he didn't even care to try an assist my son. He should be embarrassed but his demeaning, narcissistic behavior lets me know that, he won't be. I wasn't looking to be coddled, I wasn't waiting for the answer I wanted, I just hoped and assumed he would be professional and give me guidance for my child.

Every time I have been seen here the "nurses" seem lost. The first visit, I had a nurse stick me 3 times and couldn't draw blood, then when I asked for someone else to draw the blood everyone was offended and acted like I was bothering them. Then every single time I see dr doriott she is telling me I need t take a slew of medications. Mind you, I have never had high blood pressure, yet every visit I'm told I have hbp and she is telling me I have to take blood pressure medication. None of the nurses could even figure out how to take my blood pressure the first time I was there. After reading more reviews she is pressuring ALL OF HER PATIENTS TO TAKE BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATIONS THEY DONT NEED TO MAKE MORE MONEY!!!!!! After avoiding a new prescription every visit, dealing with it just to get my prescription refilled today was the last straw. I called to reschedule my appointment because I picked my kid up early the receptionist told me to come in at 240. I get there at 239 and the old lifeless receptionist looked visibly angry. I said "hi I'm here for my appointment" she angrily pointed at the clipboard for me to sign in, I signed in and asked if I could use Apple Pay. Immediately the rep seemed annoyed with my request, she said "yeah we accept Apple Pay, but only on that computer I already have you pulled up on this computer" so I said "I don't have my card can we just use the other computer?" The rep had a MELTDOWN. Threw her pen and other stuff across the counter and screamed at me cussing with my 7 year old daughter standing nearby I didn't expect the receptionist to cuss me out today for asking to use Apple Pay so I calmly started recording her erratic behavior, when I told the receptionist I was probably no longer using this doctors office because I felt uncomfortable with her behavior she left and went to talk to dr Doriott. I was left in the lobby from 241-3pm when a different receptionist came to call my name and take me back to be seen for my visit. When I got to the privacy of the room, I felt I should mention the episode the receptionist had, as a business owner I would want to know if one of my employees was treating clients disrespectfully so that I could take necessary corrective action but as I was telling the nurse what happened DR Doriott busts in the room accuses me of lying about the interaction and says "Oh yeah? That's not what I heard" then implies I somehow caused this situation and asks me to leave. Now I haven't gotten my refill for the medication I desperately need, I paid $75 for my visit and wasn't even seen. After reading reviews from other people she's been pressuring people to take hbp meds for years even lost her license in 2006!

After that, in classic sale's tactics, they "Strong-armed me" begin treatment with the PCP's husband, (who is a podiatrist in same location), IN ORDER TO "GET IN" QUICKER w/PCP. 1st visit, he undercut my toe-nails so BADLY they became ingrown & infected! Took 10 days for that to heal! There was NOTHING WRONG with my feet, PRIOR to that, I've NEVER had any nail OR toe issues!! Then he Rx. arch supports, even though I've never needed them before, I'm almost 50! Isn't there a "Hippocratic oath" somewhere, that goes: "FIRST, Do NO HARM"??? When I got tired of playing "footsie" with the very strange foot Dr., I asked for appt w/PCP Dr. Doriott. They THEN told me she's suddenly "NOT taking Medicaid patients", right after I'd explained to her hubby that he'd CAUSED my ingrown toenail & infection. The desk & assistant staff, while pleasant, are the most unkempt, UNPROFESSIONAL group of non-achievers I've ever come across. They are unshaven, wear street clothes & all reek like an ashtray. 1 guy there lapsed into a diatribe about the need to legalize pot, in the lobby, as I waited to be seen. Things that make you go: "HUH"?? Am I actually HEARING this stuff?? To round it up, my 3rd / last appt. with Dr. Footsie, he asked me THREE TIMES in less than 10 minutes: "So, WHAT are you doing this weekend?" as if to cozy up to me for . . . Ugh!! A liaison?? I'm a guy!! I'm getting "James Comey queasy" just rehashing all this. Running for the bowl now, AVOID this rat-trap!

He's helped me strengthen my knees to the point where I don't cringe away from everyday activities. The one time Travis couldn't help me with an injury with treatment, he still helped me. I had an elbow that has been bad for years. Travis correctly diagnosed me with tennis elbow, but I wasn't getting better with treatment and exercises. He referred me to a talented D.O. to see what was going on. It turns out I have a scarred ligament inside of my elbow which was bothering me which is not something that can be made better with exercise or massage alone.

I was hurting so bad I thought there was no chance of his being right. I stuck with the physical therapy exercises he gave me to do and while it seemed that I wasn't getting better I stayed with them. After the first week, I felt slightly better. Again I stayed with his program. By my third visit I was greatly improved! Three visits, one less than his original projection, and I was back to normal activities. I'm continuing with the exercises just to strengthen the muscles in the area as recommended. I give Dr. Culver my highest recommendation.

A true testament to Dr. Wiggins and her staff of highly trained surgery team professionals.
