Mr. Andrew has made swimming fun for my son. Mr. Andrew's classical "circles and kickers and boat" has helped my son tremendously. The best swimming instructor ever!

Andrew is the most amazing swim instructor, his patience and techniques had our four year old swimming all on her own by the end of just three weeks with two lessons per week.

I…read morecan say there's some truth in the instructors changing, but I feel most of them are young/college and some only teach during their breaks. With that said things have been pretty consistent now. My kids love their instructor and call him coach. My daughter was 3 when she started and she was so scared. I had to sit in the pool area with her for her first 2 sessions. But consistency paid off and she loves it now. I want to personally thank Mariam. She was soooo great with her in the beginning. She made sure she had toys and just felt comfortable. Mariam is always still so sweet when we go in. She also helped us out when my dtr's membership had to be placed on hold for medical reasons. My son is so happy and we are thrilled with their progress. Overall I think the teachers are very positive and sweet. I've only had good interactions with them and my kids love their weekly swim class.

I wish our experience had been better, but unfortunately that was not the case…read more We decided to enroll our 17-month-old son in swim lessons because we have a pool at home. Although we have a safety gate, we wanted him to begin learning basic water survival skills at an early age. Our son has had eczema since birth. When he swims in our home pool, we immediately rinse him off and apply moisturizer afterward, which has always worked well for managing his skin condition. After speaking with a representative, we signed up for classes. We paid for three classes at $27 each, plus a $45 annual fee. At no point were we offered a trial class. Later, I learned that a free trial class may be available, and I wish that option had been presented to us before we committed. We also understood that the membership agreement required a 30-day notice for cancellation. Our first class was on May 14, 2026. As soon as we walked into the facility, the chlorine smell was extremely strong--strong enough to make us sneeze. We assumed this was normal since the pool is indoors and may require additional chemicals to maintain cleanliness. We were instructed to arrive 15 minutes early for a facility tour. We did so, but when we asked about the tour, the front desk employee seemed bothered by the request, which was disappointing for a first-time customer experience. The class itself was fine and focused primarily on helping our son become comfortable in the water. After class, we went to the family restroom to rinse him off, but the shower knob was broken, so we had to use the outdoor shower instead. Shortly afterward, his skin became extremely red, dry, and irritated. The dryness was so severe that his wrist began bleeding. We believe the pool conditions, including the chlorine and warm water, may have aggravated his eczema. Even though we showered him immediately after class and applied moisturizer right away, his skin continued to worsen. We ultimately had to take him to his pediatrician, who recommended additional ointments to help manage the flare-up. By the second week, his skin was still very inflamed. We contacted SafeSplash to discuss canceling our membership without the required 30-day notice and requested a refund for the two unused classes as well as the $45 annual fee. The company requested a doctor's note, which we promptly provided. To their credit, they agreed to waive the 30-day notice requirement and refund the two unused classes. However, they declined to refund the $45 annual fee. The representative who assisted us via text was polite, professional, and responsive throughout the process. I am sharing this experience so that other parents are aware of the available options before enrolling. I strongly recommend asking about a free trial class before signing any agreement. I also encourage the staff at SafeSplash Elk Grove to proactively offer trial classes to prospective families rather than immediately encouraging them to commit to a membership.

I arrived with my girlfriend in a lot I've passed hundreds of times probably, and been in onl a few. And this was the forst time that ai even knew this swim center even existed; tucked away in the back right corner next to Baguettes bakery. Once we entered once of the staff asked for our names which I wasn't sure why at first, but then later realized it was for some registration. We told them we were going to be swimming but we had to fill out a registration form anyways. Maybe it was for insurance purposes, but I was told there was a max number of people who could be there which I thought was off, that guests could/would be capped. Or maybe there was more charges for larger groups, which is weird since you have the pool scheduled for your party, so size should matter. The pool consisted of 4 lanes if I remember correctly, with a length of maybe 25 meters and a depth a 5 ft max. There is a nice gazebo type area to the far back where full shade is provided, and have a number of picnic tables to sit out. And on the side of the pool, opposite of the staff area, there were several more table with large umbrellas to sit under out of the sun. Our party was from 1-4 and was also told we had to be out by 4:15 otherwise there would be additional charger. So we had to help packed up a little early and rush to get all of our stuff out before 4:15, so that additional charge wasn't incurred. Overall: The kids definitely had fun whoch was a plus, but the logistics to rent the place could be a lot better in my opinion. Minus some of those additional charges and rush to be in and out of this facility.

The staff is friendly. The instructor who trained my granddaughter- Jayla (not sure if I spelled it correctly) was very gentle but firm in her approach with the children who were ages 3-5. She even took the time to engage the parents after class to advise where the kids confidence levels were and how she would work on them in future classes. There were other ages groups being taught in different areas of the water. The pool itself was clean and looks well kept. Overall I felt safe with my granddaughter there. I'd definitely recommend this center for anyone thinking about attending swim classes.

The showers are the same, but might've had a deep clean, we've not been here in months, but some noticeable improvements seem to be there in the women's bathroom. But the shower area floors (and the hallways leading to the showers) were soaking wet and truly a safety issue, a major slip and fall hazard which is quite concerning. No staff was seen in the women's locker room at all in the 1.5-2 hours I was there changing, then going to work out and then coming back to shower, etc. Staff at front desk was welcoming, but didn't see any staff cleaning at all, and janitorial staff (assuming there are some at this huge location) can't keep up and/or have not done a thorough job. It's always crowded here regardless of time of day and so the cleanliness is a huge issue. Dropping off the younger one to the kids' club, there was nothing really for him to do since there's no basketball hoop (kids sized or one of those portable ones filled w/sand/water in the bottom) and there's only that indoor play structure/netted cubes thing that he's outgrown, so he ended up reading while we worked out which kind of defeated the purposes for him to go exercise. In the back, there's the swimming pool which certainly is big and there several of them, people do their lap swimming here, and there's a more recreation pool too, so that's another nice feature in the warmer months and those are frequently packed. B/C of this the floor is even more wet in spring through fall months when the pools are open, so maybe more mopping up every couple of hours or for a staff to check or even just leave a mop for members to mop up the wet floor is a good idea so people don't slip and fall in the locker rooms. Overall, some slight improvements since our last visit, but can still use more consistent cleaning and upkeep.

DON'T DO IT! I hate to be clichéd - but I would give them zero stars if I could, or negative stars,…read moreI really, really would. This company is extremely hard to work with! They've only got a few local swim instructors contracted with them, and those instructors have very limited ability. Every time I've had contact with an employee it's been someone different, and none of them seem to communicate with each other. Their website is glitchy and the opposite of intuitive, they don't have a local office (I think the only office is in Canada actually), they respond to emails with unrelated responses, and every time I've tried to call I've spent more than 30 minutes on hold. I just spent 54 minutes on hold, only to have their phone line just dump my call and literally hang up on me (I attached the screenshots). Our daughter had a few OK lessons through Aquamobile in the summer of 2019, and we decided to try it again last summer (2020), at the height of COVID-19 fear. We (foolishly) assumed that since we'd be outdoors, with just one person from outside our bubble, working with a professional company that SURELY, MUST have procedures and precautions in place (/s/), it would be fairly low risk, definitely safer than group lessons. Our little girl had a couple of uninspiring sessions with a local teenager (the ONLY local instructor in Aquamobile's network who was available at a time that worked for us), and four days after what would be the last lesson, the instructor texted me to tell me she had a fever We were very frightened that the instructor may have unknowingly exposed us to COVID-19 at the last lesson, so we called and emailed Aquamobile right away to ask them what their protocol was, and how they would let us know whether or not we'd been exposed to COVID-19. I got an email back from them telling me that safety is their "#1 priority" and that they would get back to me within a week to tell me next steps. I never heard back, even though I emailed and called the same person within a week to ask if he had an update for me. We got more careful about isolating during COVID-19, the school year started again, and swim season passed - meanwhile this company still has over $400 of ours in the value of the swim lesson package we bought. This spring (2021), we decided we may as well try to use the credits we still have with them, because all the local group lessons are full. There are only 2 instructors in their database who are available for under 4 year-old swimming lessons, and they have both now declined my booking requests. I literally CAN'T use that $400 of credit with them. I emailed them to tell them this and got back a completely unrelated response, which made it clear the person replying didn't read my email, didn't understand, or didn't care. At this point, I just want a refund, and I seriously doubt I'm going to be able to get any of my money back from this thieving, feckless, infuriating, incompetent, disorganized, untrustworthy mess of a company. I finally was able to speak to someone on May 28th to ask for a refund, she said she would send the request to a manager, and 3 weeks later I've gotten no response. Save yourselves lots of money and aggravation and take your kids to the health club for swim lessons.

Parking is typically pretty easy to find in the large shopping center they're in. We signed her up for their once a week introduction to dance class. She loved her classmates and instructor and wanted to do their recital in June. The class provided a lot of valuable life lessons. She learned and had several things reiterated: confidence, human kindness, paying attention, respect, responsibility, timeliness, and trying your hardest. Their waiting room is exceptionally small, and they prefer you drop off and pick up your child after class. Unfortunately, that's not realistic for her due to some separation anxiety issues, but we'll continue working on it. Starbucks and Walgreens are both within walking distance for those who are able to drop off their child or children. They sell a variety of ballet and dance apparel and shoes. The recital costumes were reasonably priced and absolutely gorgeous. Tickets were also reasonably priced, and the show was well planned and executed. Our daughter's dance partner bailed on her before the second show, and her instructor Mona helped instill the confidence in her to perform a solo rendition that she did a fantastic job with. She's excited to begin class again in August after soccer is over and to perform again in December's recital.
