Sometimes I arrive early and they adjust the schedule so that I can be seen early instead of having to wait until my appointment time. Dr. Rayner listens to my concerns and let's me know my options. I decided against the swine flu vaccine for my child, and although he said it was safe, he respected my wishes and said a prayer over her with me. He is very knowledgeable and is always available for any concerns that I may have. He is gentle with my daughter who is absolutely terrified of the doctor's office. Every time I went with my son I felt he was always in the best care and treatments if needed for any medical needs. He always explained and listened to any concerns. Spent time and knows his patients not like most Doctors. Through my sons teen years he addressed not only medical needs but his needs as a young man entering adulthood. Well now my son is off to college this year and we will miss Dr Rayner dearly as when your physician can make a impact on your child's development not just for his health but as a mentor as well is a blessing forever cherished. She is always responsive and available no matter the hour. She is the most well networked doctor I've ever met. Weems has no privileges at suburban hospitals, and has no relationships with any specialist and no ability to get you in any sooner than if you cold called on your own. Most recently, she ghosted us when we asked for post-surgical pain meds for our 11 year-old who had a laceration so deep the tendons in her hand were visible. Ghosted! You can get equivalent or better care at an urgent care clinic from a non-doctor. without having to spend thousands per year for nothing. Not a "concierge" doctor at all, save your money.

One gave me the third degree when I asked for a piece of paper to write a note. She wanted to know who my mother was, what room she was in..all over a piece of paper. I should have asked the nurse HER name instead. When I asked to speak to a nursing supervisor I was told I had to go "through the chain of command " and my concern "would be passed on via the charge nurse." I called the patient advocate line to seek assistance twice last week. I am having a bit of trouble navigating a nonmedical issue with my mother. No one has had the decency to return my call.
