I recently was assigned this company for roadside service. As far as customer service is concerned, my experience was without a doubt the worst I've ever had. The dispatcher was less than truthful about arrival times. They talked over me whenever I tried to express anything. They where completely rude, arrogant and ignorant as far as common courtesy was involved. I waited 8 hours for a tow. When they showed up they said they needed more equipment. Made me wait a few more hours then cancelled.

Original estimate was 5-35 min. They then said it would be an extra 15 min, then nothing for the next hour until I called repeatedly and got through, was put on hold for 15 min then hung up on. At that point they texted another update that they would not be coming at all. Zero explanation. I waited 2 hours in the sun, only to have my request bumped to another tow company that had a minimum wait time of 90-180 min. There goes my entire day. read more

Just like all the rest of the Previous reviews the company postponed our pick up for 2 hours. Every few minutes they would update and extend by 10 to 30 minutes. 2 and a 1/2 hours later we finally called Dick's Towing of Skagit county, They showed up in 7 minutes.. read more

These guys are a joke - 2 times they have left us in 45° weather freezing locked out in the cold. Drove right by us in a marked camping spot then said they can't find us. I locked my keys in my car at my sons lacrosse game over an hour from home. No businesses around to get warm. Called roadside assistance and apparently they use this joke of a company. Kept promising they would be there and changing the time every hour. We stood outside in the cold wind for 4 hours with our 12 year old and his friend we drove. They just stopped answering our calls! We finally had to call a locksmith and pay them. They were there within 20 mins! I will be sending a complaint to my insurance company ASAP! read more

Same experience as the other reviews; kept promising later and later times from call to call to Roadside Assistance, claiming traffic where there was none, never picked up the phone when called directly. I gave up hours later. They left me hanging and put me in a bad spot when assistance was dearly needed. I can't believe Roadside Assistance programs actually work with these folks. I waited from 3:49 pm until 8:06 pm for a battery jump. They never came and marked the job as complete. My insurance company called them and they said it was a mistake and someone would be there in half an hour. At 8:06 pm they canceled all together. Horrible service. Needed a flat change. It's been over 4 hours with a promise of 90-120 minutes. The map showed the driver as close as 6 miles away and it kept saying they would arrive in 20 minutes. called my state farm roadside assistance and these worthless pieces of crap is who they contact with... said a driver was 45 min out then they didn't have a driver at all . I was waiting for an updated driver and 2 hrs later they had no driver to help fix my flat tire on my car. its 1030 pm I am in MN it's cold and the roads are Icry AF stuck on a major interstate and now it's 130 am and State Farm said they can't help until the AM..... Andrometer towing told me at 7:00 that they had an ETA of 8:30. At 9:00 I called and was told the ETA was 9:30. At 10:00 I was told they would be another 2 hours. Don't even waste your time, this garbage company will just string you along and lie about how they're always just about to arrive. read more

Absolutely horrific service. They never showed up and when I called to ask them where they were they told me that the job had been accomplished. I told them that the job had not been accomplished because no one ever showed up. They did not send another service and the guy who answered the phone kept me on hold for over five minutes several times and eventually told me he's sorry but he has other customers to help and hung up on me. They were completely unprofessional and had me waiting for over three hours for no one to show up, no one to call me, and no one to help me afterwards. 0 stars. I Do not recommend at all for anyone. If you were thinking of using their service, don't. They have one job for roadside assistance, assist the driver. One job, and they are absolutely terrible at it. read more

All I needed was a jumpstart. My roadside assistance service, Good Sam, contacted Andrometer -- despite Andrometer's utterly dismal customer ratings. Based on the time they told me they'd arrive, I set up an appointment to take my car to a mechanic to have a new battery installed. Andrometer simply didn't show up to jumpstart my car. They kept saying they'd be there soon, but never came. I had to delay and finally cancel my appointment with the mechanic. The following day Good Sam (very stupidly) scheduled Andrometer (against my wishes) to come out again. The exact same thing happened. Four hours after they were due to arrive, they still had not come. I believe their only business is through Good Sam and other insurance company roadside assistance plans. These insurers need to read these reviews and stop contracting with incompetent tow companies like Andrometer. Otherwise, they will lose their customers; they will certainly be losing me. read more

I called my insurance at around 7:30pm. At 8:00PM, i received a text saying a driver was on their way and that ETA is 45 minutes. They also sent a link to track the driver's location. Initially, the driver went the opposite direction, but overall stayed in the same location in which ETA kept saying 37-45 minutes. at 10:15PM, still no response. I call my insurance and they get in touch with Andromenter. My insurance got back to me to tell me they said 20 minutes. 25 minutes later, still no sign of the driver. I call Andrometer directly myself. The dispatcher told me the driver said it'll be another 15 minutes. At this point I am irritated. I haven't had any answers and have been waiting for over 2.5 hours. I tell this to the dispatcher and all they tell me is that they're just going by what the driver told them. I hung up and reached out to my insurance again. My insurance reaches out and when they mention the vehicle and city, they were placed on hold and did not receive any response. My insurance company decided to just cancel the service. Takeaway message? Andrometer is unresponsive and unreliable. I had to leave my car in a parking lot and took an uber home because there was no way I was going to spend New Year's eve waiting on this company. I would recommend anyone to go somewhere else. Horrible horrible service from start to finish! I called my insurance for roadside assistance, they sent Andrometer Towing to "help" me. I called at 2pm was told they would be there in 2 hours I said perfect, I sat and waited for a bit to see if they would show up early or not. To my surprise one of their trucks came pulling in right next to me, driver never even acknowledged my existence, he turned around and was gone. I thought "hmm how strange" so I call the number we provided and asked them if that was supposed to be my pick up, they said no. I then continued to wait. After about 2.5 hours I told them that I am going to have to leave my car here and get picked up simply because I had 2 small children and was told that they couldn't transport all 3 of us and my 1 year old was getting restless, okay no problem, my mom came and got me at 440pm I called and told them that my key was under the driver's mat. They said that they had a truck in route and would be there in 45 minutes. I had my mom take me home so I could wait. After about 4 hours I called again (8pm) and asked where my car was, again was told that they had a truck in route and was 45 minutes out (huh?). I called again and was put on hold for 30 minutes! Only to be hung up on, so I called again only to be placed immediately back on hold for another 30 minutes and hung up on once again, I was done playing nice so I had my husband call them. They then told him that they again had a truck in route and would be there is 45 minutes... you can see where this is going... at about 10:30pm we decided to give up and I would call my insurance company again in the morning. Fast forward to 7:30am the next day, my car still had not shown up at my house, and still no call from Andrometer towing... so I gave my roadside assistance from my insurance company a call to see what they knew. According to their records the job had been completed per Andrometer Towing, funny cause my car was still NOT in my driveway! So they talked to Andrometer Towing, at first they were told that they "didn't receive the order for the tow until that morning" meaning the following day, then they were told that they "had a truck in route that would be there at 8am" so we waited, again.... I knew exactly how long it takes to 1 load my car onto a trailer and 2 get from where it was to my house, so 4 hours passed and still no car, imagine that! So again I called my insurance company roadside assistance line, they reissued the orders to Andrometer and another local tow company. I got a call from the other tow company within 15 minutes saying he was on his way to my car. Funny enough Andrometer somehow managed to actually pick up my car between the time of the reissued order and the time that the new tow company called me... so yes they did tow my car but it took them 24 HOURS to do so!!! And to boot when they dropped off my car (I was not home but watched them on my surveillance camera) they left my lights on! All in all the worst, absolute worst tow company! If I'm ever broke down again I will just call South Lake Tahoe Towing! read more
