I was waiting 3 1/2 hours for their road side service. They were contacted through my gieco insurance. I finally gave up and called a roadside service that was in town on my own not through my insurance. Fortunately they arrived in 10 minutes. If your insurance company contacts andrometer for your service please decline and ask for another service. This situation was extremely frustrating. read more

I requested a road side assistance, after waiting for 1 hour, the driver asked me to wait for 15 mins, but later then, I HAVE ALREADY WAITED FOR MORE THAN 5 HOURS! Between this 5 hours I have called them 3 times and the answer was they are on the road. When I did the 5th time calling, they said that they cancel the service, there was no ANY inform. This review is for the post service customer support that was provided after service was rendered. Facing a key lockout situation, I was provided Andrometer LLC through my credit card's roadside assistance benefit. Luckily I was at work and at a safe place while not being able to access my car. When the technician arrived, he was able to unlock my car using conventional methods but accidently cracked my windshield from the inside. I wasn't sure how to proceed and neither was the technician, but all I could do was take photos and report the incident to dispatch. Dispatch connected me with the manager via email and I sent away a note with a photo of what happened. Eventually, we agreed on a workable solution to have my windshield replaced at an agreed upon shop and with reimbursement to happen out-of-pocket. That is exactly how it played out. I feel whole again, and for that I am here to tell Yelp that this company is honest and will stand by a situation if it presented itself. read more

They called and texted that someone was on the way, then the person was delayed and then they never showed up. I had to pay out of pocket to be towed home (should have been free as I have roadside assistance with my insurance). So I called the company once I got home and they had the audacity to say I wasn't in their system. I will tell you myself, I cussed his ass out, hung up, called back and got the same dummy again. He tried to have me on hold for a long time but I hung up again and called back. Now she's claiming she doesn't see me the system, I tell her well you have called and texted me. Your last text said to call because you wanted to talk, so let's talk. Needless to say, she tried me and she got the business too. Car parked on the side of the road and wouldn't start after jumping it. Requested roadside service through GEICO on a Sunday afternoon at 3 PM and was assigned Andrometer for assistance, ETA 45 minutes. They don't offer live tracking. After an hour I called and was told the the driver's truck broke down so they are dispatching a different driver to me, ETA 1 hour. 5 hours later and no one ever showed up. They never answered their phone and GEICO kept giving me 20 minutes, 30 minutes, etc. no idea where these ETA's come from. 30 degree weather outside, thankfully I was close enough to walk home. THE SUMMARY: Lied to me repeatedly, and left me stranded for OVER THREE HOURS in the middle of nowhere by the side of a highway until I decided to cancel. THE STORY: I ran out of gas at 8:30am, so I put in a request through the Geico app for gas (not even asking for a tow truck), and I eventually got paired with Andrometer, LLC. Their ETA was over an hour (just for gas): 9:41am. This was my first time using Geico's roadside assistance service, and based on my very positive experiences with AAA before (which I no longer pay for but am strongly considering switching back to), I assumed it wouldn't actually take that long. At 9:03am, I called Andrometer's dispatch number to let them know where exactly I was, and the lady didn't even see my vehicle in her system until a couple minutes later. She told me the truck driver, Jermaine, would call me. 15 minutes later, he did. Told me he was 30-35 minutes away. By this point, his new ETA (about 9:50am) was later than what the app had told me. I waited and waited. I called at 10:05am to check where he was. He said he was now 40 minutes away. 40 minutes away?! How does that make sense? He said his previous ETA was "based on no traffic". What maps app gives you an ETA based on no traffic? Keep in mind this wasn't during rush hour. He was lying to me. I checked the Geico app again, and the ETA was now 10:26am. He said he was on the Bay Bridge but was on his way. I waited some more. By this point, I was already hours late for work. I hadn't had breakfast or coffee. My phone was dying. At 10:32am, he texted me saying he was in Daly City. I looked on Google Maps and that was still 17 minutes away. Six minutes later, he said he was THIRTY-ONE MINUTES AWAY. I was livid and canceled the request. With my phone at 7% battery, I downloaded the Uber app and requested a ride to the nearest gas station (a 50-minute walk but a 5-minute drive). Once I confirmed that the driver was on her way, I went to the gas station, bought a plastic gas can, filled it with gas myself, and got a ride back to my vehicle where I successfully started it. I drove back to the gas station, filled the tank, and at 11:30am--a full three hours after I ran out of gas--drove to work exhausted. Thanks for completely wasting my time, Andrometer. I filed a complaint against you to Geico. --- EDIT: After reading every single other review on here (40 reviews), I'm not even sure this is a real towing company. There is zero evidence that they actually even show up or do anything. They just give you false ETAs for several hours (literally OVER A DAY in some cases), and either you will cancel the request or they will cancel it themselves with zero explanation. Then they don't respond to your calls. I'm fully convinced this is a scam. read more

Ok had to pay an extra 200 to get my keys out of my running vehicle and on top of that it took them 1 hour to get to my house.. I can't believe that Geico roadside assistance is contracting with this provider. I really question their legitimacy. They're based in NJ while I needed someone to unlock my car (keys inside) in CA. They never showed. Kept politely saying another half hour and making excuses. Eventually, I canceled and had Geico dispatch a different provider. I went on Yelp and see that almost everyone has the same experience with them. It's incredible that they've secured such a large contract as Geico. After waiting for over 3 hours and multiple calls, I had to install my spare tire myself. 4 hours after booking the service they called me to tell me there was heavy traffic and it would be another 30 minutes (which I heard at least 5 times before). I saw their vehicle tracking information and they did go to different towns, even in opposite direction from me, while I was waiting on a narrow shoulder on a busy highway. Unacceptable. read more

I had a flat tire after traveling. called GM for roadside assistance which is covered by my warranty. no money should be handled. guy that came out said we owed $. at almost 2 am I just said fine and paid. guy gave wrong change & we owed some money back to him but it was an hour later and we didn't live nearby. we said we'd send him a cashiers check. he has since called & harassed me over and over again when I plan to send a check, not sure how quickly he thinks the mail is but the harassment is not necessary. on top of that he shouldn't receive any money at all from us as he's now double dipping, getting cash from unsuspecting people in trouble on the road plus getting paid from roadside assistance. shady and dishonest!!! read more

I called ROAD AMERICA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE from Motorist Protection Plan I bought with my car when new for a tire change service. Andrometer claimed they would arrive between 45 and 75 minutes, called after that time and said they would need another 35 minutes, then called and said they couldn't come due to a problem with their vehicle. They offered to come next day. Basically they are a National computer controlled dispatch hiring anybody they can find to do the job cheapest, but you get stuck with being the job nobody wants becuase they won't pay the service providers. As a professional myself this is exactly the kind of company you both don't want to work for or recieve service through. read more
