Andy Arnold Insurance represents a team of knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful professionals. They make my day as easy as possible. I wished I had known earlier. Until I had a minor claim, I was happy with our internet-based insurance company. The accident wasn't my fault. When our insurance company learned they weren't required to pay, they handed me off. Instead of helping me work through the recovery process, they politely informed me that I was on my own, and I should deal with the other party's insurance. Have a nice day, they said. As most might expect, the other party's insurance company tried to get off as cheaply as possible. It was a tricky process for a novice to navigate. They tried to lowball me. They offered me a check on the spot that wasn't enough to fix the car. After several rounds, the car was fixed properly. But, during the entire process, my old internet insurance company was invisible. With that as background, I decided to make a change. Ironically, when our old company learned we were planning leave, a real person called and offered to reduce our premiums. For us, saving a few pennies on premiums and risking much more in potential losses didn't make sense. We're buying insurance to protect us, not cheap premiums that could hurt us. I don't typically do Yelp Reviews but this customer service was so far above and beyond excellent that I had to do a review. By far the absolute best car insurance customer service I've ever received (I've probably had 4 or 5 policies with 3 different companies over the years). Honestly, its some of the best customer service, regardless of industry, I've ever received. My experience was the total opposite of the 1 negative review I can see one here. After I got married, I wanted to merge my wife and my policies. We were both under State Farm but different agents. My wife raved about her agent and I didn't have strong feelings one way or the other about my experience with my agent at that time. To that point I had assumed that "an agent was an agent" and you really don't deal with them that much so what's the difference as long as the rates were the same. After working with Andy to merge the accounts, I now know that THE AGENT CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE. Merging the accounts wasn't as simple as clicking a button. It required a few steps over a couple weeks to get everything executed properly in the system because the policy I had with my old agent was so "unusual". Andy personally stayed on top of the process the whole time and would email or call me with updated or additional information he needed to keep it moving and ensure we were getting all the proper discounts. With my old agent, I had to initiate everything and I also dealt with an assistant (which is fine in certain circumstances), but Andy initiated all the steps and personally kept this process moving. If it wasn't for him, I'm not sure I would have got this processed and ended up for the SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS that we ended up with. Andy also had a very real world, understandable way, of presenting the different coverage options, how my price would change under each option, and advise on selections based on my wife and I's specific circumstances. It was the first time I felt like I was making a truly informed decision on insurance versus just selecting something I didn't really understand. I understand everyone is entitled to their experience and I see the 1 negative review on here for Andy, but my experience could not have been more of the opposite. I didn't realize the customer service could make such a difference on car insurance but now I'm literally thinking of randomly texting friends to say "are you happy with your car insurance, because if you're not, or even if you think yours is just Ok, i've got a guy for you to talk to..." Sorry if this all seems over the top for reviewing Auto Insurance on Yelp but Andy really deserves 5 stars and I absolutely highly recommend him. read more

Stay away from Andy and his team! He will be there when it is time to purchase the insurance... but won't take your call after that. You have to deal with his assistant or the State Farm 1-800 number. I am fifty years old and had never had a claim on my car insurance... ever. Had a small claim for the first time last year, only $800.... and my policy was immediately jacked up by over $100 per month. He and his team blamed it on headquarters... washing their hands of everything. My son has gotten his license and I am trying to get the discounts that they promise... but they keep changing the requirements... wanting his transcripts for semesters that have not even been completed. Moving the target and making it impossible to get what I need. I am moving this summer and will be glad to get a new Agent then! read more

Andy and his team have been like family to me for the past 10 years. I moved to the area and lived across the street from his office, but when I left the state for awhile and returned, I came back to Andy's office, even though there were more than a handful of other State Farm Agents who were closer to where I moved. Andy is quick with a return email or phone call - he's ALWAYS been responsive to the highest degree. After a period of several years, I stopped in his office to register my new car. He came out of his office and remembered X, Y and Z about me and called me by name. I feel like a valued member of his family more than just a customer. I've been with Andy for almost 10 years and have all my insurance policies with him. He is a very knowledgeable agent and knows every product inside and out. He used to work in the claims department at State Farm so he has in-depth knowledge about what exactly State Farm will cover and what it won't. He's very responsive via email and phone. Everytime I talk to him on the phone, the conversation runs so much longer than I had expected, because he is so thorough in his explanation and so detailed about the insurance products, policy requirements, and potential scenarios, accidents, and disasters. He's a very practical thinker and gives advice on which coverages to have that make sense. He doesn't try to oversell coverage you don't need. He also makes sure you get the most bang for your buck in terms of getting the most coverage for the lease amount of premium. When I had to unfortunately leave Andy because I was moving to California, Andy went above and beyond to correspond with my new California agent. Andy did not have to provide such excellent customer service for a client who was leaving his agency. I am always impressed by Andy's willingness to help. read more
