Andy is an absolutely fantastic photographer. He was so attentive and made sure all aspects of his shots were perfect. Took the time to coordinate outfit, scenery, and mood changes throughout the shoot. Overall such a fun and positive experience I would relive a million times over again. My review is based on my firsthand experience with the sports photography services Andy King provided to our community. This isn't based on just one league. It spans two different leagues my children participate in, with the exact same outcome in both. And it doesn't stop there; we also experienced the same issues with dance studio photos. That makes three separate experiences, all with the same disappointing results and the same level of service, or lack thereof. The biggest problem wasn't the price, it was the quality of the final product. When concerns were raised by several families, we all got the same weak return message "I'll send this to Treelite for review". Treelite, you mean the company you SOLELY own? The company you're hiding behind to avoid accountability and responsibility? The company who has yet to responded to any of our families? He blamed this poor outcome of results on the low payment he receives from the leagues. Hey Andy, your "low cost we charge the league" explanation is not the defense you think it is. That sounds like a business decision YOU MADE. Not something families should have to absorb through poor quality photos, rushed posing, and frustrating service. You say your goal was selecting the image with the "best expression," but unfortunately you failed miserably. The chosen photos were some of the weakest options available and judging by the number of parents voicing the same frustration across both leagues, this clearly is not an isolated opinion. You provided one kneeling option. One. Which tells me you either did not actually review the available poses carefully, or the other kneeling photos were removed from view entirely. If multiple kneeling poses were truly taken for consistency, where did they go? Because they certainly were not available for selection on my end. It was painfully obvious that speed was prioritized over quality. Some of the people taking and posing photos appeared to have little to no actual photography or posing experience. Kids were rushed through the process, positioning was awkward, expressions were not corrected, and somehow the weakest images became the featured league shots. Quality matters. What happened to taking pride in your work? Us parents would be more than willing to spend the ridiculous amount charged for a digital download if the photo was actually worth it. read more

We were lucky enough to be one of Andy's recent couples at Salt Drift Pointe. I can't express how thankful I am for Andy's professionalism throughout this whole experience, especially since my mom hired a photographer that flaked out on us last minute. I feel like we dodged a bullet and God sent us Andy. Andy is the whole vibe and our pictures are next level amazing. Checklist: Was with us from start to finish - from our getting ready pictures until the end of the night. He even staye for exytra time to make sure he got our last dance which is one of our favorite memories. They captured things we never saw - My nephews play with cousins from Alaska they may never see each other again. My dad sharing a beer with his brother. They haven't spoken in many years. My mom crying during my ceremony. They dancing pictures at the reception are so much fun. I like how they shoot everyone, not just picture we are in. Andy got a large group sot of everyone that made it until the end. Andy has energy for days and everyone feeds off of it. Andy put on all of the boutonniers for the guys. Andy did our tineline and it was flawless. He knows all of the secrets we didn't know to keep everything fun and on time. Our coordinator had our planned for our pictures to be in the dark since she didn't know what time the sunset was. Andy caught that right away and made the change. Lots of pictures! I have a friend that only received 800 pictures from an all day wedding. I have over 2400 pictures and I'm glad I have every single one. My huband liked that he used long lenses at the ceremony and during toasts so that he wasn't blocked all of the guests and the video people. Professionallism with coorespondence, contract, questionaires, quick delivery time of picures, quick on emails back. I was able to text at anytime with a quick response. The little things: Andy fixed my dress because it wouldn't zip up and my bridesmaids were having trouble. He brought a nice wooden hanger to hang my dress up in the hotel. He texted me the picture timeline so I could group text it to all of the wedding party and family. He helped us pick our first dance song becuase he reaced out to DJ friends to give us something that was unique. read more

Imagine all the checkboxes required when a loved one passes. For some, it has already happened. I recently joined that group. You want pictures to remember, and for your children. I wanted to write a review for Andy King, though he ultimately didn't photograph our actual wedding.....This is because we ultimately scrapped our big wedding ceremony, and a friend took our pix at our extremely tiny, casual backyard ceremony. We ditched the big wedding event because we foolishly had a big event planned comic con weekend, then tried to move it to another weekend, then realized wedding planning was eating our souls....so we hit the courthouse and did a tiny ceremony for family only last month. Andy was incredibly understanding, professional and kind about our change in plans. You are dealing with a really good person if you book Andy. We did have our engagement pix done with him, and they turned out SO WELL!!! Gorgeous! We're thrilled that we have some nice shots, and he was punctual, reliable, communicative and HILARIOUS. He's just a funny guy. He has this really sweet, frenetic energy, and he channels it into his photography by being 1 part self-effacing, 1 part you-flattering, 1 part you-teasing......making it impossible not to love him and relax in front of the camera! We booked Andy for our engagement session because he had done my family photo 10 years ago and my sister's senior photo more recently--both of which turned out wonderful. Words cannot express how much my husband and I LOVED working with Andy! We met with him before deciding to book (since you spend the whole day with this person and wanna make sure you like them) and we knew right away we wanted to go with Andy! He is so bubbly, creative, passionate, friendly, and, of course, talented! He communicated with us a lot leading up to the wedding so we could decide on a "First Look" spot that would work and he had so many beautiful suggestions it was hard to pick. Every time we spoke he sounded so excited to work with us as though we were the only clients he had for the year! He spent so much time and energy making sure we felt comfortable and excited about the big day and we appreciate it more than any review could convey. On the day of, Andy and Heather (our second shooter) were so upbeat and just seemed to be having a lot of fun capturing all the silly and special moments of us getting ready. I can't emphasize that enough they just seemed to be enjoying every bit of the day as much as we were! They were constantly looking for and finding unique ways to capture things without putting us into inauthentic or overly-cheesy poses. The majority of our bridesmaids and groomsmen are unmarried but have each been in a handful of other weddings. Throughout the day they had all made some sort of comment about how if Andy is available when they get married, they've already found the photographer they want. The biggest compliment though came from my father-in-law though who is recently remarried and can be a liiiiiittle tough to please. He said his work was better than the photographer they used at their wedding and was truly blown away by Andy's personality, passion, and overall product.
