Janice has now captured newborn photos of both my daughters, and choosing her both times was a…read moreno-brainer. Two years apart, and both sessions were equally beautiful, fun, and everything I could have hoped for. What sets Janice apart isn't just her incredible eye for a photo - it's how genuinely present and thoughtful she is with my whole family. She was extremely patient and gentle with my newborn, and made my two year old feel completely at ease by leaning right into all the toys she kept eagerly showing off. Watching that connection unfold was honestly one of my favorite parts of the session. She even welcomed our two dogs without missing a beat! Having everything done in the comfort of my own home made it that much more special, personal, and stress-free. We absolutely loved having these milestone moments captured in our own space, surrounded by all the things that make our family ours. If you're looking for someone to document this fleeting, irreplaceable season of life with care, artistry, and a whole lot of heart, look no further than Chasing Hiromi. These are photos I will cherish forever. Thank you, Janice :)

I researched photographers on Yelp and, as soon as I saw Janice's work, I knew she was the right person for the job. And she definitely was the best! Janice was super easy to communicate with. On the day of the event, she arrived early, was friendly and cheerful, gave everyone good instructions for each shot, making the whole experience comfortable and fun, even for people like us who are usually awkward in front of the camera. When Janice delivered her work, every photo was sharp, beautiful, natural, and captured our joy and emotions -- truly outstanding. I couldn't be happier with Janice's work, and will enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer!

My fiancé at the time and myself were planning to travel to California for a family vacation. We…read morewere traveling from Texas and had the idea to get married while there. My dad began researching photographers to capture our special day. Mily's work stood out and when reaching out we were met with kindness and knowledge. Not being from California we had an idea of where we wanted pictures but didn't know the logistics behind it. Mily kindly gave us some suggestions and recommended a location that she was familiar with and had the characteristics we were hoping for. Mily took pictures at our ceremony and at a second location afterwards. She was professional, warm, and worked her magic. The photos came out even more beautiful than we hoped for. We didn't have to prepare much and Mily worked us through everything. It was exactly the experience we expected -- a breezy fun entertaining photographing experience, which itself is also as important as the final delivery. Mily gave us a wonderful time! Final results also look awesome. We had many choices to choose from and she set up a very nice digital tool to let us select what we want and pick ones we want to use for final deliverable. It has been great and I cannot be more grateful for Mily! Will work with her again after the baby is born!

We booked months in advance, knowing this was something special we wanted to do. One of the moms, who's a returning client of Lisa's, coordinated the date, and Lisa managed all the individual contracts, waivers, and payments via Venmo seamlessly. She kept communication clear and organized through a group text with all the moms, which was incredibly helpful. Lisa was professional, patient, and never made the girls feel rushed. She's familiar with our school's location and offered thoughtful suggestions for the best lighting and backgrounds, which made a noticeable difference in the quality of the shots. To make the shoot even more special, I'd suggest bringing a few personal props, like a graduation cap and gown, a framed baby photo, roses, or leis. These don't need to be in every shot, 1-2 could add a meaningful and fun touch for a fews shots. Our group opted for a second outfit change into their college t-shirts, which added a personal and celebratory feel as they look ahead to their next chapter. Choosing photos was actually difficult, in the best way, because there were so many beautiful options. Each girl ended up with at least 2-3 individual portraits and 2-3 group shots they absolutely loved, but honestly, there were many more to choose from. Doing the shoot with friends made the experience feel more relaxed and fun. The girls were cheering each other on, helping fix hair and outfits, and just enjoying the moment together. It took the pressure off and created a supportive, joyful vibe. I highly recommend doing a graduation photoshoot with friends, and Lisa made it a truly equitable, enjoyable experience where everyone walked away with photos they're happy with.

The first impression upon entering the building was that it was a very nice set up. There were many very nice photographs on display everywhere. There were also old cameras on display which was a nice touch. It was a good first impression of the business. The two young ladies seated behind the front counter were very friendly and professional and immediately assisted my family and I. GREAT customer service. Approximately ten minutes went by when the photographer assigned to us, Paula sat at our table and we chatted for a few minutes about the photos to be taken and the area we currently reside in which was nice. We were taken to the rear of the large studio and Paula got to work. She is a GREAT photographer and an even nicer person. She was so friendly, funny and down to earth. Paula did her thing as far as taking many, many pics but was also open to our feedback on a few pics. We have yet to see the finished product or pricing so I cannot comment on those two items. My review is simply for my first impression of the studio and the amazing staff.
