Janice has now captured newborn photos of both my daughters, and choosing her both times was a…read moreno-brainer. Two years apart, and both sessions were equally beautiful, fun, and everything I could have hoped for. What sets Janice apart isn't just her incredible eye for a photo - it's how genuinely present and thoughtful she is with my whole family. She was extremely patient and gentle with my newborn, and made my two year old feel completely at ease by leaning right into all the toys she kept eagerly showing off. Watching that connection unfold was honestly one of my favorite parts of the session. She even welcomed our two dogs without missing a beat! Having everything done in the comfort of my own home made it that much more special, personal, and stress-free. We absolutely loved having these milestone moments captured in our own space, surrounded by all the things that make our family ours. If you're looking for someone to document this fleeting, irreplaceable season of life with care, artistry, and a whole lot of heart, look no further than Chasing Hiromi. These are photos I will cherish forever. Thank you, Janice :)

On top of that, she even snuck my husband and me away for a few private photos, which I didn't expect but absolutely loved. Janice was wonderful at directing us without making anything feel stiff or awkward. She made the whole session feel easy and fun, and the kids stayed engaged the entire time (a small miracle). The photos turned out beautifully, and we genuinely enjoyed the process. Also, the turnaround time for delivery of photos was even faster than she estimated. We can't wait to work with her again and would recommend her to any family looking for someone patient, talented, and great with kids (and pets!).

We booked months in advance, knowing this was something special we wanted to do. One of the moms, who's a returning client of Lisa's, coordinated the date, and Lisa managed all the individual contracts, waivers, and payments via Venmo seamlessly. She kept communication clear and organized through a group text with all the moms, which was incredibly helpful. Lisa was professional, patient, and never made the girls feel rushed. She's familiar with our school's location and offered thoughtful suggestions for the best lighting and backgrounds, which made a noticeable difference in the quality of the shots. To make the shoot even more special, I'd suggest bringing a few personal props, like a graduation cap and gown, a framed baby photo, roses, or leis. These don't need to be in every shot, 1-2 could add a meaningful and fun touch for a fews shots. Our group opted for a second outfit change into their college t-shirts, which added a personal and celebratory feel as they look ahead to their next chapter. Choosing photos was actually difficult, in the best way, because there were so many beautiful options. Each girl ended up with at least 2-3 individual portraits and 2-3 group shots they absolutely loved, but honestly, there were many more to choose from. Doing the shoot with friends made the experience feel more relaxed and fun. The girls were cheering each other on, helping fix hair and outfits, and just enjoying the moment together. It took the pressure off and created a supportive, joyful vibe. I highly recommend doing a graduation photoshoot with friends, and Lisa made it a truly equitable, enjoyable experience where everyone walked away with photos they're happy with.
